Funny story - my dog wasn't allowed on the couch either, but I knew he was sleeping on the couch when I wasn't home since the seat was always warm! One day I got home and his rabies tag had gotten snagged by a thread on the couch and he was tethered to the couch seat cushion! Haha! So busted! Haha!

I enjoy watching your journey as my boy is just a month younger...also the family aspect of a Presa is very important...I had to take an emergency trip this weekend...and when I got home...talk about an excited puppy...made my very happy to be home

We have more videos coming soon! We also have some planned training videos ahead. As far as the kids are concerned we make sure we don't get Commander too excited. Commander definitely has some moments when his excitement and energy are high and we have to settle him down around the kids. We generally do that by making him sit and then petting him slowly and then affirming him with a, "good boy" once he is settled. We may have to do it several times to get the desired behavior .. .but consistency ultimately will prevail. Thanks for watching and engaging!!

He is definitely more work than our boxer was. For one his size alone! Big dog big clean up! He also is not as friendly as Oscar was. Instinctively he wants to do what he was bred for and protect his family. Therefore he perceives many people, things, or situations as a potential threat until we show him otherwise. He's more of an admire from a distance type of dog.

Do Commander shed a lot??
No he doesn't shed much at all. I use to have German Shepherds and they shed a ton. Commander is nowhere close to that.
