That is a beautiful dog !
Thank you! Thanks for watching too!
Just be careful around other male's with Commander. Please don't ever nuerter him. He's a beast
For sure! We will absolutely be cautious. Soon he will be put to the test as he may be visiting his dad a brother. Stay tuned!
Aww well I hope hes ok and he's feeling better soon
He seems to be back to himself already. Haven't had any issues since he's been in his antibiotics. Thanks for the well wishes and thanks for watching!!
He's beautiful. How tall is he
Great question. I took a pic of him beside a yard stick. I have to find it and put it in one of the videos. Wish I could replay with a picture on here. Check out his Instagram and Facebook. We will upload a pic there. But he is getting tall fast. That's for sure! Thanks for watching!!
Hey Bro hope all turns out OK with Commander! I had the same issue with Dolemite at 4 months. Turned out to be a UTI and got cleared up with antibiotics. Commander is a MONSTER!!!😳🔥🔥
So I took my puppy out for a walk...and honestly should have been doing this much sooner but texas heat when I get off..is crazy hot long story short...I asked the gentleman at the corner story if he could come out and meet him...he sniffed him once and then nothing...sat down and was chill...so on his property 1000% protective out in public a perfect gentleman
Very interesting. Yes, Commander surprised us with how well he handled the care of the vet techs.
@@presadentialcommander3649 and holy cow 117lbs at 6 and a half months...does his genetics have full English mastiff? That's crazy big
How does your dog do around your kids??
He is good with the kids. They have to do a better job following instructions however. They are use to our boxer and the same rules do not apply. They have to be more conscious of their actions around Commander.
Yeah my oldest boy 7yrs old is ruff!!! He beats up my standard poodle Belgian malinois mix!! I want a presa but doing my heavy research!! Luv your channel
@@tyrelld.7656 Thank you! Research is definitely key! With us having children, finding a breeder that was able to recognize a puppies temperament that would be a good fit for our family was important!
Do you feed your dog raw??
We do not feed Commander raw as of now. Something we are strongly considering down the road.
Hi! Just discovered you guys and your CDR. Look forward to getting to watch his life experiences and learn about his breed! Would love to hear who your favorite dog trainers or dog training methods are in a future video. I love reading books about diverse dog training methods and hope to be certified one day! Love the videos.
Glad you decided to join us in our journey Smokey Wick!! Also thanks for the suggestion! We have no training experience but we have something in the works! Look forward to that video coming soon! Thanks for watching!!

Homefront Presa Chesapeake VA
@@presadentialcommander3649 thanks man I appreciate it!
really love your dog ! do you do any type of training for recall as this is something im struggling with .
Thank you! Commander is terrible with recall!! We are going to do something that is considered controversial. We have been talking with K9 Offleash about a board and train. We have a consultation coming soon. There will be about 3 or 4 videos at least focusing on just that. I think the journey successful or unsuccessful will be helpful to us and our viewers. It will be really valuable content. Stay tuned!
Going to vet can ne really problematic. I think that the problem is simply anxiety. As soon as they make “bad” experience they label vet as “not good”. With our first dog we started very early to go to vet without any reason. We just agreed with people working there that we will come and that we will take his favorite food with us. Feeding was done by the guys there. Now our first dog is still afraid and very upset if we go there but she knows the vet and that environment are “good”.
Same strategy we are now applying to Sam. Next week we have next visit just to give him his favorite food.
Regarding muzzle, we started to feed him through the muzzle as he was very young. Know he is relay happy to see it :-) as he knows the good food is coming.
P.S. don’t warry about leaking random pi - this can happened if they are under the stress or very happy (or even from antibiotics)

You can see in this video how and what are we feeding through the muzzle, sorry for German language
