@@609Fishing yep I'm pretty sure he came to Staten Island and he was saying something in our club something about with the Blackfish song with the Staten Island fishing club and man it was a speech and a half especially when it comes to striped bass this guy knows his stuff and I've been fishing since I was 5 years old and I'm 60 years old now but when it comes to Black fishing I always get Blackfish not monsters but I do get Blackfish 1617 18-in Blackfish keepers I'm not going to complain
@@609Fishing yeah excuse the recording but when I talk on the recording it puts up long words yeah he was at the Staten Island fishing club and he was talking about the black fish and the striped bass and so on and so on pretty interesting
I saw that Skinner video too a few weeks ago, damn porgies wouldn't leave his rigs alone. I did this in Delaware on Thanksgiving, couldn't find any keeps but a bunch of shorts showed up
@@609Fishing man I remember seeing him on magazines in Ramsay Outdoors back when I was growing up in the 90's. Skinner is a legend, and I miss fishing out in Montauk
Whoever told you that is trying to hog all the tog for themselves 😂 I find water temperature dictates when they leave more than anything. I’m still catching them right now and it’s mid December
609 Fishing- went out there today. slow bite in the morning but picked up as the tide came in. and the wind died down. lots of shorts and a few over 15. hope to see you out there one day.
I already got John Skinner Batman knows his stuff and I live on Staten Island and I fish off the pier cuz I don't have a kayak or any boat and I do pretty damn good with a black fish
Looked like an amazing day on the water i am curious what is your favourite gear ratio for all around freshwater bass fishing largemouth/ small mouth i got my first two baitcast combos not to long ago both 7:1:1 ratio i am just curious also what spinning combos do you use?

His video was awesome, he legitimately comes up with the best ideas for fishing videos. Learn a lot from him

That’s impressive from land
Do you check out his Florida videos when he goes to Florida
I do
Where did you get your kayak? From the south Jersey area looking for a dealer that has old towns
I got it through Old Town, but there are a many dealers in SJ. Sterling Tackle, Harbor Outfitters, Al & Sams Kayak’s all sell them in SJ
You should try lancaster marina in pa they have alot kayaks and boats
Were is this spot at 🤣
Got my old town at Al and Sams in Vineland they are good old fashioned people. Tell them I sent you

Honestly I’m not huge on baitcasters to be honest. I’m most spinning gear. I like Shimano reels & fenwick rods
Nicely done!, We need to link man‼️🤙🏾
If you’re ever up this way let me know! Thanks for watching brother 🤝
