Bro you're the best! I was freaking out that my car was making such a horrendous sound. None of my friends that know about cars could help me and I couldn't find any info online relating to it. Thank you!!
Good video mate, very informative! Another note on the rear diff functioning better is there are few performance upgrades to enable the rear diff to engage and respond quicker, dual pump system has a spring upgrade for quicker spool and engagement and also clutch pack upgrades to remove slip and take heaps of power
where can you purchase the spring upgrade?
thank you man mines been doing this and i’ve been trying to figure out what it was
The same on mine!
You're good at this stuff. Had Civics since Gen 1 and CRV s too. Keep on enjoying.
Thanks for the video. But next time stop spinning around while talking to the camera and no background music would be appreciated. Keep up the good work !
Ill do better about that, i noticed it in editing. I like to walk and talk 😂
Good and straight forward info. Thank you. I have a 2004 with 5-speed. Stock. Seems to work well now with 205,000 miles but I've learned what to watch for with this and other videos. Thanks for the quality, informative video Beefy.!!!
Super helpful video. Thx!!
how do you know truly that the diff is no longer good any more / when you should replace vs flush it
great advice, drop the music and it would be much easier to watch though
bro thanks for this vid, diff going to do that
Glad I could help!
I don’t think my crvs awd even engages. How do I tell if it does
Discovered the same problem in my car recently.
Could you do more videos on the information about these diffs and awd systems about how to make them better off road. Find it likes to spin the front left and rear right and go nowhere. I'd ideally like lockers or a lsd but wouldn't know how to go about it on a mk2 2002 crv
Question, did you ever thought to install the diff from an honda element? I read somewhere that its plug and play but its stronger then the crv one.
Dude, how u DIY the pump for the diff oil
Ones again great video
Hey my car makes a vibration only at takeoff . Why?
What if u accidentally put gear oil. And discover this group 4 months later. Them u change the fluid to dual pump 2 fluid. After doing two honda fluid changes the differential starts to whine even when going straight above 20mph. But 4wd does engaged? Is my differential shot?
There are wet clutches in the rear diff. I would assume they probably arent meant to see real oil. Theyre probably oil soaked and slipping and thats probably what your hearing when accelerating.
Hi all.
Own honda crossroad 2008 part time 4wd. I presume it's always in 4wd, is anyone knows how to fix this ???
👍 I like the intro
Hello,
Whats the metric size of both bolts?
This work on element?
Have you considered the gear x lsd?
Thanks again
What's the Instagram? And also what do you use for a pump with the drill again....a speed sensor?
Theoriginalbieb yeah speed sensor from a b18 integra. Civic d series speed sensor would also work
What if it doesn’t howl at all? And doesn’t engage??
Your clutches are bad it your pump is
Mine still didn’t work.
So its a speed sensor to pump the oil?
Yes, I use the speed sensor from the transmissions ive had and thrown awaybas a fluid transfer pump.
Am have to try that out. Is it from a civic or wat kind of speed sensor
This one is from a 90 integra, not sure which others have this also
O ok am trying one have on my old civic
They have diff locks in the rear you want them in the rear
With your poor audio capture, the music got in the way. By the way
Was it w33d ,where you asleep or dunk??🤣.Great video but take a couple of days off and rest bro.
Cr-vs do not even come close to Subarus off road. Those clutches are just a bad idea.
deffintely not the best awd system for sure. which is why im now running a viscous coupler from a landrover to replace those rear clutch disks. now if i could just a low range gear box like you subaru guys!
I feel like I just watched a video project for a special education class
