How to figure out if a person played the first game: They always dodge and barely ever parry
Not necessarily true. I played both 1 and MM and I parry all the time
That is super true in my case😂 if I parry, it's cause I did it on accident
@jordansuks3892 I platinumed all 3, but I had to train myself to parry, and started doing it consistently like halfway through the game. The thing is, you don't really need to learn how to do that, you can just dodge everything and jump away from undodgable attacks. Because of this, not everyone who played the og only dodges, but most likely if you see someone dodge and not parry, they played the first game. Makes sense?
I like to parry more than dodge even i played both prequels
Unlike the first two games where you can get an instant KO off a perfect dodge, parrying does more for combat this year. I miss the former lol
Man, I love aggressive Peter Parker dialogue, I wish Insomniac could keep that dialogue as a option along with black symbiote powers for post-game or new game plus XD

Or let us choose when to use dark/white web. Lots of black alternate suits that we could use to be our main “symbiote suits” like advanced 1.0 black one

Even though it’s not in the movies I think it would still look cool. If you can use symbiote suit powers with all suits why not make black webbing an option for all suits as well?
But to be fair I think when you were in rage for the black suit in sm3 on the ps2 or 3 the webs turned black and knocked enemies back

If you guys want to be able to use the black tentacles without having to bother it being replaced with the white ones, just do what this guy did. Create a new file, play until peter gets his symbiote suit and DON'T proceed with the story line. That way, you'll have black tentacles and agressive peter for as long as you want to. This is a great method to use until they actually add a option to toggle the symbiote's colour and change Peter's voice tone during crimes.

@@EmmyEntropy2000 the one I'm using is when peter got the symbiote for the first time, then I Stop doing the main story and focus on side missions and crimes to upgrade my gadgets and moves

Glad they added the option to change your tendril color back to black, but wish they let you swap back to this kind of dialogue after the game. Swinging around being Venom, being all mean - that’d be sick.

Anyone else feel like if the Wraith missions canonically took place during the Symbiote part of the game, Peter would kill the cultists and Cletus?
No, he's still spider man, not no spider assassin. But he would be less sympathetic if wraith got her way and not care too much to go after wraith in the first place. As he has bigger problems to deal with at that time (Lizard, Harry, Kraven).
Wraith saying "That went faster than I expected" about 1000 times makes me think she might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer.

This game has one of my favorite all time parry systems because if you pull it off the animation is so rewarding and can boost focus and everything or take away shields and weapons

Really hoping for some better ability-suit synchronization in the big update that should be coming next month.
The MAguire black suit is the only version of the black suit I think I like more than the red and blue ones. It just looks so slick.
They need to let us choose our webbing and tendril color.

@@ender01o66 because it’s cool that some of the suits change it to black. But we should be able to change it to black for some of the black suits that leave the web white, like the night monkey suit, Raimi black suit and advanced black suit. None of these are actually symbiote but if we had the black webbing we could sync all of the elements up and pretend they are.

@@Eleyricayes, it doesn’t need to be accurate to the movie to everybody. In game lore symbiote uses black web. We should be able to use black web with any suit not only black raimi suit (like the front cover of the game where advanced suit 2.0 is using black web)
Just making it clear it should be AN OPTION and not the main choice for black raimi suit. The main one should be the white film accurate i agree on that.

I hope that when we get the update, we can choose any of the symbiote suits for our rage mode (causing the symbiote tendrils to have the same color as the selected suit), or maybe even use suits like the Iron Spiders for an Iron Mode instead of a Rage Mode (it'd be basically the same but with Spider-leg abilities)
I hope with the new game + update they let us pick wether or we use the spider arms or the venom suit when it comes to traversal

He has a couple. He says good riddance, he kind of says I'm going to put some dirt in your eye, and Myles says this is something else. There are lots of references to the third movie throughout the whole game and I love it. 😁

@@hopefullyanonymous3466 after you finish all the hunter bases, but you have to do the last one in the Symbiot suit or he won't say it. This wasn't in the Symbiot suit, but after you first fight the robot dogs right before Scorpion dies, he asks one of the hunters what craven is hunting. The hunter says, "what man fears most" and Peter tries guessing what that is. He says, "failure? Intimacy? Clowns! It's clowns isn't it? Good riddance I say!"

I honestly wish there was more abilities for Peter for his spider based powers and his experience on his web shooters, like don’t get me wrong the tech spider arms are cool and I love the symbiote abilities but I wish they didn’t nerf Peter because he’s actually way stronger than people think. He could do a lot more with his powers and webs alone. I still loved the game but I’m hoping for Peter they give him a spider buff some how like how he did when he almost died to morlun and came back evolved and stronger. They could base his abilities on being stronger and his spider sense on higher level. I could go more in detail on what I’m trying to explain but it would be forever lol

but here’s the thing: the premise of this game between peter and miles is that miles fully takes on the mantle as spider-man, so they make him nerfed so then it can fit more to miles being the main spider-man

Directional yank
Hold triangle and press L2 or R2, or hold both to slam them into the ground.
And if you switch to pressing X when doing the ground slam you can sling shot to the enemy in the air.
