Just found this a few days ago, and don’t even care to read ACOTAR book 2. Love Margot’s strength and heroine but ADORE Nathaniel’s magnificent masculinity. Doesn’t feel threatened by Margot’s drive and confidence.
I'm only about an hour in and already I want a Nathaniel lol. I'm already in a life long relationship (nearly 14 years and still counting) but I would be ok to have him as a friend, or if my child turned out like him. He's so precious and I want to protect him at all costs. ❤
Thank you for your fantastic books, and my gratitude for your wonderful narrator, is without measure. I honestly can’t listen to the AI narrated ones. Not being a snob, but I can’t relax with all the mistakes, they jar on my ear. Unfortunately the part of the story that involves The Society Boys, is REALLY getting under my skin. The fact that it’s what really happens makes it much worse.
I am really loving your books and really appreciate that you have shared them for us on youtube. However I found a big flaw with one point. Nathaniel is supposedly very schooled on the whole witch things. Yet he states only 19 people were executed for witchcraft in the united stated... this is actually very wrong. The salem witch trials were not the first witch trials in the US or of the time. The first trials and executions, and what many believe started the witch hysteria that moved up to MA, were in CT. There was at least 11 people who were tried and convicted and ultimately hung as witches (at least 34 were actually indicted for being witches) in CT. This is documented and in fact those victims were just exonerated in the last year or two by the CT government. And not to mention yes, 19 people are claimed to have been executed during the salem trials, however there is evidence that it was more than that, the leading number being 25. Just a note about the accuracy since it seems to be an important point to the actual story and that Nathaniel is supposed to be knowledgeable on the subject. Not trying to be nitpicky, again the story is wonderful... but I hate to see the others that did suffer at the hands of injustice be dismissed, even if just in a fictional story. Sincerely, a descendant of one of those falsely accused and a fan of your work.
My continuously listening started the day I found the bible on cassette tape & w/ an hour drive to work this was a perfect fit - Fewer paper books I see or buy since they are passing like buggy whips -
Found this a bit annoying tbh….. spoiler alert…..so she blasts the guys on the beach beating up her boyfriend, and they all emerge from the water except one….the cops and ambulance arrive, everyone is unconscious but her, and she doesn’t tell ANYONE that there is a guy probably drowned in the sea, because she just “can’t deal”…???

This is a novel - a fantasy - therefore, a different Salem!
