I am really enjoying your audiobook. I can not wait to listen to the whole series. And the adventures that you are taking us on. You are awesome. Thank you again.
@@chartrooseforee6904 you know that cold shiver you feel when it feels like someone stepped on your grave... that was me, lol anywho, never watched the series, I just had to see a trailer to know that it wasn't worth it considering the source material. The books are amazing, the audiobooks are amazing, if you can, then definitely look them up
The beginning was a bit slow but I’m glad I stuck with it. Beautiful character development and a good handle on keeping the mystery alive. On to book 2 !!!!!!!!!
I love listening to this book especially the character developments and the narrator , i'm wondering if he's a guy cause he did it well with briars voice. And the voice seems familiar I think this narrator was also the narrator of "Mercy Temple Chronicles".
Well done. SFairly slow and realistic adaptation to a sudden change to what is "real" for the characters. (I would have expected one of two had freaked out on being told magic is real, is there some kind of special school the less mentally balaced magically gifted people attend/are confined?) Understandable mistakes from ameteur slooths. Age appropriate levels emotional maturity and personal flaws/hangups. Well done.
It was interesting...I Saw many great comments, but I confess I have a severe dislike of whiny, parental trauma that hasn't been dealt with. The main character was the epitome of suck and fail, but if you can make it two hours in, it starts getting better.
I totally understand why she has emotional problems but she’s been given a wonderful opportunity and just keeps diving into her aggression. Zac hasn’t harmed her but he’s getting all the grief! I would have given much to have her chance!
I'm 3hrs in and Briar is soo annoying & not seeing the big picture, not even trying to embrace her opportunity, just whiny bitching about what can't DO, . Having a hard time not closing this one.
Even though reader is very good, some of the 'whinyness' is her interpretation of the character. Im guessing the reader is not a street urchin herself! (Maybe a Stevens prep school graduate.)
Fun read, but the painfully poor choices by the protagonists are frustrating and boarder on stupid. The first rule of fighting conspiracies is tell as many people as possible. The second rule is send evidence somewhere safe. It's less fun when the reader can see the plot point in advance.
That's how you narrate. You pause and add emphasis to show where punctuation is, or bold or italicized letters. It also happens at natural places of pause indicating a new paragraph, a change to dialogue and even pauses within to indicate a change of character speaking. It's actually very good narration. I can see how it's written by how it's being read. It's perfectly well done.
I thought this voice sound familiar. This is Jacq Ainsworth who voiced the mercy temple chronicles. Very Awesome!!!!!
same feeling, same conclusion
This!!
Thank you for your comment ! It was eating at me and I knew it was familiar , I just couldn't place it. Your awesomeness is appreciated!
Thank you I cannot wait to listen to them all.
Thank you for uploading this book, it sucked me in and am loving it.
Thanks for sharing! I'm looking forward to listening to the remaining audiobooks! Blessings of love and light to all!

Love the story and I don't mind commercials but every 3-5 minutes is a bit much
I enjoyed the story. Not everyone has a rosy upbringing . Nice to see that she didn't fall into a victim mentality.
I got so sucked in, I’m looking forward to the next books.
Great book loved it .
They need to make this a movie or TV series reminds me of a cooler harry potter.

This book is way to good.

Enjoyable story. What is the storks name? Herbert?

But Lord, she's whiny. Zac is a Saint 😑
I totally understand why she has emotional problems but she’s been given a wonderful opportunity and just keeps diving into her aggression. Zac hasn’t harmed her but he’s getting all the grief! I would have given much to have her chance!
He is bad at reassurance and comfort.

@@deeterr1227 some books dont fit all of us. I had to quit one recently-heroine written as dense as a rock! Terrible for women to be portrayed so.
The southern drawl drives me nuts and my least favorite part of this whole book. Other than that- I love this so much.

That's just it. You don't have anywhere else to go but you are still being so stubborn
This girl should had been named as Karen..tsk!
I'm 60 minutes into this story and there's literally a commercial every 3.5 minutes 🙄.. I don't think I'll get to finish this book.
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
The protagonist was too whiny and violent, but overall a good book and start to a series.

Keeps cutting out
What the heck with that ending?

I am digging the story line, but the recording needs helps. It sounds like you pausing and starting speaking in spurts.

You should try reading out loud once in awhile...
Ahahahaha.harry potter nuch? I hope the main character is not gonna be so annoying😅
Far far too many adds
I get that she had a really bad childhood but d@mn her attitude is sooooo annoying!!😊
This book is very much for teenage girls in heat, according to me. Halv way true and 80% so far about romance.
atleast hook is hsndsomr anf nehls is a beauty😅
Aw this protagonists is sooo annoying... hoping she mature in the next two hours of listening... i did finish it though...It has good plot. Thanks.
How many Harry Potter clones do you need , to let the genre die once and for all?
This is YA
We love
Loners n legends
Deities n demons
Attitude n emotion
Dam shame I'm almost
60😂
Good for you.Im nearly 67.love this genre.
Lucky then, that i‘m only 26.😂
Nice book but Impossible to enjoy I really tried, some adds , no problem but every 5 mins is intolerable so I’m giving up
Intriguing story but the narration is so awkward and not well done at all.
Sarcasm gets BORING, it interrupts r flow of the story, and is unessesary
To many ads
