I don't know if you all will see this, but I just want to say thank you for all of your support, your stories you shared with me, and your kind words. I don't have the emotional energy to respond back to every comment because I'd cry my insides out from being so emotional, but I just want to say that I read ever word, I appreciated every word, and you guys are amazing.

PCOSwhatA mess hi, I seen your name for one, I have PCOS as well I can't have w baby and I'm 34 so it's kind of late for me n I can't afford IVF or anything like that. also I was raped when I was 14 by a 17 yr old popular guy and I was scared to say anything to anyone bc I felt ashamed and like it was my fault. when I did tell my friends they believed me and said they weren't surprised bc he was such a piece of shit, and they knew I was acting weird whenever he was around. and the believed me and I told my mom years later, who passed away not long after at 46 suddenly.

Men never believe it was rape, in their mind, the woman "liked" it or was "into" it. same mentality with stalking, stalkers make this whole Imagined relationship over a chance meeting or even over a picture. stay strong, your very strong and open and by talking about it, especially in a video, your helping so many other people who have gone through this or are going thru it. especially now a day, rape stats are doubled

3 and a half years after this video, I stumbled upon it after subscribing to your channel. And let me tell you it wasn’t on accident! I have been through something ridiculously similar these past few months, and I needed to hear this. THANK YOU for sharing your story, as it’s the inspiration I, and so many others to be able to realize everyone doesn’t have to believe me, for me to go through it. Thank you hank you thank you.💛

My heart absolutely breaks hearing your story. It takes a certain kind of person to use that against you. But knowing that you and John fight through it on a daily basis makes me believe that one day a man will love me enough to do the same for me. My heart goes out to you.

Thank you for your story. I hope when my kids are old enough, I can tell them how serious and degrading shaming and spreading rumors is. Hopefully, we can make a difference in the long run. Being that intoxicated is still no excuse to be abused. Hopefully ppl that watch this will be better equipped to at least look after an intoxicated friend and get them a safe ride home.

I am so sorry you had to go through such a horrible time with people - it's a time you needed love and support and you were treated with such hate! Not only did you have to survive the hate of rape but also had to go through the rape again when people called you a lier - this person (who called you a lier) may have been jealous of you or made at you and saw an opportunity to hurt you when you opened up about the rape - what ever the reason she/he was weak to do that - garbage
You are strong and beautiful for over coming - this will always be apart of you the past, be remember it's not you... People can hurt, rape beat our bodies but they can't hurt our souls - celebrate who you are stay a fighter!!! You rock!

I'm glad that you are bringing awareness about such a hard thing to talk about, you know in your heart what happened you don't have to answer to idiots like that, this is about you not her it didn't happen to her, I'm glad you've been able to get help I'm so sorry this happened to you, and everything you've said makes sense you have nothing to gain by letting people know, you are doing it to help someone else that might be going thru something similar. I wish there was a way to put a stop to her doing this. Thinking about you stay strong

I love how transparent about your situation. I was rapped also and that's some hard stuff. It is hard when you have children they bring out so much of your past. Thank you for your story. I’m sorry for your pain. I’m happy that you’re in a better place. But thank you for speaking out and highlighting on the fact that there are people who will put other down and put fear in them to not speak out on what happened to them. Til this day I haven’t been able to speak my truth to my most loved ones because of the same thing, fear, but honestly watching this video brings me one step closer to being more honest with them...but most of all myself. Thank you thank you. You impact so many people and I want you to know that I’m grateful that you spoke out on this.

You are a good person Kelli.. I believe every single person in this world gets to experience horrible things in life and each learn from those experiences in a different way.. Some will open up and try to help others because they truly know the pain.. Some people just go silent but a portion would enjoy seeing other people going through difficult situations to feel better about themselves.. You should feel proud of the way you chose.. and happy about your life.. Stop digging the past.. You are blessed with a beautiful family.. People won't shut their mouth or stop trying to make others life miserable.. and they are winning every time you react.. love your life and family.. At the end of the day that's what matters..

I'm sorry kelli. that is a really shitty thing for someone to do to you. as a survivor of relationship abuse myself, i really feel for you. it's been more than 15 years since i removed myself from the person who abused me and i still can't talk about it. it affects me still. deeply. constantly. i left where i grew up and have few contacts from back then, but i wasn't believed either. people i didn't even know would message me and tell me i was a bitch and was a liar referring to my ex. i didn't even talk about it. it was too painful to talk about it... how did these trolls even find out? who knows? it's awful and it's demeaning. .. it's disgusting how people try to tear down the victims of abuse rather than support them. you're a strong woman and you are loved and supported. thank you for sharing your story so that someone else doesn't feel so alone.

I'm sorry this happened to you, I am a rape survivor. Being raped for ever changes a person, it's been well over 30yrs for me I never spoke up because of how society often blames the victim. Rape has affected every area of my life, it has affected my ability to even parent my son. To this day I am unable to date I still suffer ptsd & night fear. Healing comes as the victim feels safe enough that they can talk about the incident process, and start to work through the emotions & after effects of rape. Every person is different.having great support can make a big difference, having counseling & group support from others that have survived sexual trauma helps a lot. Understanding that what you feel is normal, and that it's not your fault. Being able to learn coping skills to deal with the emotions are very beneficial. I have accepted that this incident has forever changed me, changed how I'm able to deal with males. Someone needs to know there is life & healing after sexual trauma. They are not alone, don't have to suffer in silence. Don't have to fear speaking out, gonna take time go as slow as you need to. Healing will come. People do lie about being raped, every accusation should be fully investigated, every allegation should be taken serious. When you speak out it gives you the survivor power & strength to move forward it makes society aware of the problem, helping to educate people. Sorry so lengthy.

You are making sense! I was in an abusive relationship in high school for 3 years and the Lord had brought me out of it. I lost all of my friends and had to rebuild everything when I left him. The police didn't believe me and said I brought it on myself. I completely understand the distance between men. Last I heard my abuser was in the police Academy but don't hide and speak out. It's hard yo know who to trust but don't hide!

I love you for sharing your story...it takes a strong person to talk about it. I'm proud of you lady! 💜
You are beautiful, you are important and you matter....you matter. People like that don't matter & the reason why they talk/act like that is because they know they wouldn't survive everything you have! They put attention on you, so that others can't see how weak they really are.
Never let anyone make you feel like your family won't love you once they know the truth...this their shame, no yours. Never yours.

:'( I'm so sorry you experienced this, and that even after it all happened there are people that are so cruel they try to discredit your experiences and feelings :( . I am awaiting court right now against my rapist. I have had people tell me I am lying... these people are his friends and of course he denies it. But I know I'm telling the truth. You are a wonderful lady, I love watching your videos, Ignore the haters and shamers.... So many of us love and care for you :* keep being you :*

Hi Kelli. First I want to say I am so very sorry that mess happened to you.
I was molested by a family member between ages of 4-8, and when I finally spoke up, and yes very ashamed of it, I was dismissed with "he didn't mean it" and my parents never talked about it. I am now 45, and that molestation has effected me deeply and I am in counseling to deal with this. I agree in our society rape is a hush hush topic, and it's terrible. I just wanted to let you know you have support, and much love Kelli!

I'm happy though that you vented it out and let some steem out.
    Hugs!!
    PS. That's one precious baby!!!

Thank you for sharing this. Because I too was raped and someone close to me that knew the rapist and saw him hit me defended him and his actions in court. It was devastating and dies make you feel violated all over again.

I totally agree and it is hard to even talk about it but then to have people say you lied is terrible speaking up is so important and everyone who has gone through it all the horrible feelings people need to stop shaming each other because until you have been there you really do not know or understand thanks for speaking up

Kelli I don't know you and everything you have gone through but as someone who has gone threw this let me say no matter how much you say something happened no one will believe you because they will always feel like you are doing this to get attention. But no one knows what you went threw, your thoughts or emotions as you were there when it happened but no else. I am sorry you have gone through this and I hope it doesn't affect your present life today. I try and try not to let it affect me in my life today. Because I am tired of being alone for so long and try to find ways to keep me distracted from thinking of my past. I pray for you and your family . You can get through anything as you are a strong women. Prayers

I know this is an old video, but I just saw it, and I only recently found you.
I was molested by an uncle when I was 12 and 13. I told my parents about it and they either didn’t believe me, or they did and didn’t care. They told me they weren’t going to do anything about it. When I tried to protect my nieces around him, other family told me I was making it up, and that he would never do anything like that. I was made to feel like nothing I had been through was important to anyone.
So I definitely know what you mean. It’s so frustrating when anyone attacks you over something like this, especially family. Thank you for speaking for yourself and for those of us who don’t have a voice, or whose voice has been silenced.

Oh, my dear girl. How piercingly clearly I feel your pain. I don't usually comment, but I felt deeply compelled to do so on this video. I was sexually assaulted as a 12-year-old, and did not disclose the extent of the assault until age 17 for the exact reasons you discussed. I dwelled in my pain for years before I decided that my feelings were real, they were my own, and they had importance. Things need to change.

Thank you for sharing your story. I was abused by a family member and at the time when I finally found my voice to tell my aunt yelled at me in public that I was a liar. My mom who was present and who knew about it was my rock. I had to do therapy for years to learn to allowing affection from a safe person. Your sister in law is wrong and disgusting. Its not right to shame a victim it makes them relive it all over again. Its putting salt in old wounds. Whats worse is your sister in law said she went through something similar to what you went through but she went out of way to hurt you!!! Wow uncalled for and WRONG on so many levels. Praying for you Kelli

Thank you Kelli. Faulting and bullying the victim is a huge problem in our society. It's sad to admit but making myself think I was somehow at fault has kept me from telling my story.

I came out of a ten year dissociative period and developed severe ptsd from hiding my rape. The nightmares were far worse than anything someone else could imagine let alone say. Do not give away the strength you make by sharing this. The way rape victims get silenced is by allowing those who discredit them to see it hurt you.

I know that this video is very old, but these past couple weeks have been very difficult for me as a rape victim. I only told a couple people, and even then I didn't use the word "rape." Next month it will be five years. I struggle with it every day, especially with intimacy, and you saying that you struggle too helps me not to feel so alone. Thanks Kelli.

I was asulted from the ages of 7-12 by a boy in my school and nobody believed me on it because my sister convinced everyone I was lying. I try not to take it too seriously, but its so painful when a family member denies you the right to heal. You have my sympathies.

I had a similar thing happen to me my sophomore year. I’m a senior now and I finally see it wasn’t my fault. I blamed myself for the longest time and a few people told me I was right and that it was my fault. finally my first boyfriend who is the nicest guy in the world, made me see how it really wasn’t my fault. I finally dealt with it

I am so happy for you that you have your John. He seems really great.
I was sexually assaulted when I was 15 by my best friends cousin. He was more "popular" than I was and so when I finally told someone what had happened and it came out I was looked down upon by SO many people in our community. I was even out right called a liar by one person, in front of alot of people. We live in a small town and the cops "conveniently" lost the handcuffs that were the only piece of evidence. Fast forward 13 years later, the guy who did this to me actually committed suicide.
