      @@scottdsteele Well deserved. Home tours are my escape and my passion. Some houses literally bring tears to my eyes. (Crazy, I know).
      If the tour guide can make me feel like I walked through the house myself, then you have done your job. Thank you so much and I hope you prosper in all your endeavors.
      The design and layout of the home, as well as the many different finishes combined together is what I love about this home. And the windows!! I ❤️ windows!!!

    Garage is shown! The most important area and is omitted almost always … This is an awesome 4 car garage configuration … intelligent design; all the features without the doors (exterior view) taken over the elevation. Is there any attic space? Beautiful home, by the way ☺️

    • @scottdsteele

    Lets call out the Elephant in the room, the encasement around the downstairs window...that's a MAJOR safety issue!!!

    • @scottdsteele
      @scottdsteele  Год назад

      I had that exact same thought as well... and the reason that this has passed building codes is because it is tiered and a railing or guard is not required for anything under 2.5' (30"). So, it drops off to the first level and then the second level with neither of those being more than a 30" drop. I still think that, despite this being within building code requirements, many people would still want additional safety measures.

    • @davidw7776
      @davidw7776 Год назад +1

      @@scottdsteele passing building codes or not, as a parent with small children this home would be a non-starter along with one major eye sore.

      David, I totally agree! I have a 6 year old and a 7 year old myself so your statement absolutely rings true to me as well. I think that in future videos, I need to actively give more of my thoughts and expertise on the features of the homes (both positive & negative). Is that something that you would like more of?

      @scottdsteele  Год назад

      You sound like you know a lot more about this video stuff than me, thanks so much for the tip! I'm very open to your suggestions, and thank you! I shot this @ 30 FPS, should I do 60? Also, I might have to try a different lens? I'm using a Sigma 16 mm f/1.4 and while it's good for me because I'm doing this alone and it's wide angle helps in that regard, it might blur too much too often. These last 2-3 months is my first go at using cameras or anything and it's been really fun learning but I know that I have so so much more to learn.

    • @scottdsteele
      @scottdsteele  Год назад

      Hi Kevin! First off, thank you so much for watching! To answer your question, we do have some bugs in some places but it's very minimal especially compared to most other areas around the country. The main factor is that we are a high altitude arid dry climate, in fact we're the 2nd driest and lowest humidity climates in the country.

      On your video edit, I would recommend that you give a breakdown in text at the start of the locations, price, square footage, bedrooms, baths, garages, etc.. followed by shots of the floor plan. This helps orient the viewer in the space... maybe mention a link in the comments for more information and links to the builders and designers@@scottdsteele
