Just bought the 2022 Z71 Tahoe. My favorite vehicle I’ve ever owned. Drives great and super comfortable. Chevy knocked it out of the park with this one.
Yea all the electronics and cameras and sensors. But... in a year they’ll be offering $6000 off MSRP or more. Great job Joe & Victor! Filming 10 cars in a day must get to be a grind even tho you are passionate about it while in the Florida sun!! I have mad respect for you guys!! Hope Lori is doing great also!!
I bought this vehicle new in white for my wife. I am confident in the fact that she and my daughter are safe. That was the main concern for me. In a collision, it would annihilate another car. It will never get hung up in a practical weather situation. The fuel economy wasn't a concern for me, but it does average about 14 mpg city and highway off the lot, using A/C most everyday. I replaced the factory air filter with a K&N and it is now at 14.9. Do be advised that GM is having issues with GM trucks produced between Sept 2020 and March 2021 in 5.3L and 6.2L V8 configurations. They are experiencing lifter failure before 10k miles and in some cases before 5k. I can say that, everything considered, I am very happy with my purchase. If you have questions, please reply and I will try to respond with real-world, no BS answers, if I have one.
You're looking at the wrong car. If you want safety you go Volvo. I worked at Volvo for many years. One day a group of firefighter's came by the Volvo dealership and was looking at the vehicle's; I asked them what they were doing here. They responded saying that "whenever there is a vehicle collision, and there is a Volvo involved, they will always go to the other vehicle first because more than likely the passengers in the Volvo are a lot safer and they can get to them last" That's when I knew Volvo is no joke.
Literally purchased this exact truck for my fiance yesterday. waiting for it to arrive at the dealership. These are in such high demand right now i was lucky to get it cuz someone else was trying to buy it and things fell through.
I’ve really started to appreciate the food references. When I watched these a few years ago, I thought it was just a slip, but now I look forward to the ongoing theme.
It’s nice looking but I think they should have kept the shorter length. I’d call this a Tahoe XL. If you want something longer get the Suburban. Thanks for sharing it Joe, nice review as always! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
I love all the energy you had in this video. The Tahoe looks amazing, but that no ventilation on the seats could be a deal breaker up here In Michigan, especially for the price!
we just picked one up. didn't have the 360 cameras or the rear power folding seats. 78k (sticker) + 10k destination charge + tax & title. also didn't realized the extended warranty cost over 5k. I didn't see that until after signing the papers. it just came in the lot and very limited on inventory. sucks being a sellers market, no room to negotiate. i know i overpaid, but that's just how the current market is (10/18/2021 purchase date). this was in newnan GA (high demand for off road SUVs).
Joe has become my favorite in a short time. I used to watch others until I found him. No gimmicks just a passion for automobiles and racing and a mature sensibility
It's something about the front end that I hate and Love at the same time. Dope vehicle tho. Defintely gonna get one in a few years. When they get down to 25k😂😂
Just purchased one this past weekend. Raiti hit every aspect on this review. Extremely comfy ride, spacious throughout, incredible lines and beautiful interior, Chevy nailed it. I've driven in BMW's, MB's, and Range Rover SUV's, and for the price, this is barely a step below those and that's only because of their name recognition. One thing I'll add, is the digital readout behind the steering column is in fact digital, only the MPH and RPM is analog, all of the other readouts disappear when the vehicle is off, the model shown I believe is the Signature Z71 package, hence the sunroof.
@@sialea19 Gas mileage is pretty good for the size of the vehicle. I get about 18-23 miles per gallon, depending on the type of driving. It does require Premium per the manual. Unfortunately with gas prices on the rise, it gets a little expensive. I live in CA, it costs about 130 to fill up.
5.3 is a lighter ride, longer lasting engine. I've only done the 5.3's have a yukon and tahoe go over 240K miles. Also it's pretty on par for the industry.
I’ve owned mine for six months. I love it. The best vehicle I’ve ever owned. I live in Arizona and go for off road drives once a week. Would be nice if I could get a winch, like the Power-wagon.
Just got a 22’ also love it. Great in these PA winters. Blasting through the snow! Also perfect for the wife and two boys. Chevy really killed it w this one.
It was so nice to get out of your vehicle in the mud/snow, lock the hubs, spread mud everywhere getting back in, then trying to remember of you needed push/pull on the shifter, grind a few gears, and boom you’re in 4wd. I miss those days too!
wow! its only half the price of the escalade ! My kids are 6'4" + I need this or the escalade soon but I wanted a 2 seater and a truck and can do this with the price of the new Tahoe. This one looks so much better than I thought. The Tahoes of our childhood were so rugged but this looks nice inside. Pleasantly surprised.
I have the traverse and one of the biggest gripes is the cup holder location in backseat. Glad these are on the center but I wonder how difficult to open console or drinks getting elbowed. Love the look of this Tahoe!
Trading in my 18 Silverado z71 for this exact ride. Delivery is Monday. Im gonna miss my crew cab; but need that 3rd row now... Still....gonna miss my baby.
Bro, Chevy should be paying you for selling this so well. I mean, I'd already bought mine when I saw this video, but still, you make me even happier with my purchase lol
@@RaitisRides For this particular platform, Yukon... BTW, the 2021 NAIAS, has moved from it's new date in June, to late September/early October 2021. Cool crisp fall weather, that'll definitely effect any outdoor displays. It's 45 degrees this morning, here in Detroit!
I like the camera ideas. To me my favorite brand Nissan should have this as well, because when I was in a Nissan Pathfinder, it looked very cool seeing the pathfinders cameras up top, but it should also have the wheel cameras as well to see where you're going while parking.
I like that it has the little felt pocket for family jewels, as well as the rock tray for the jewels that I find while off-roading. Most vehicles don't have this!
