Nope this was the only location I did, mainly because I wanted to see Tokyo tower at night. I did see karts go through shibuya crossing, but I would suggest the Tokyo route is better as it involves higher speed roads
@@CRD90 I booked through viator and the operator contacted me straight away informing me the requirements and answered any questions promptly. Very efficient, even the directions to their base. My wife is a bit nervous but I'm sure once shes out she will relax. £5,50 for in IDP which I had to send them photos of when I got them.
@rightisright1695 yep she will be just fine within the first few minutes, even my wife was nervous but enjoyed it after she saw how safe Japan naturally is 👍🏽
So hot do you get to the starting location? We are doing a bunch of Tokyo Disney stuff but will definitely make some time for this. Are there buses? Do i need to catch a cab or train? I live in a rural area and don’t do much traveling to cities so please forgive me for being a novice
how were you able to document the adventure? i assume phones aren’t allowed. i see on their site you can rent an action camera. if i do will it look like your video or worse in quality??
I used my own gopro camera strapped to my head. Phones are only allowed when stationery. I'd assume the quality of there cameras should be similar to this gopro. But you can message them and ask the resolution. This was shot in 1080p.
Purchasing from klook is buying through a third party, I always found it simpler booking direct as the company communicate with you and offer the best prices
Good question, I could only assume because you're securely fastened in the kart unlike a motorbike where you could fly off. It's honestly not that scary, japan has some of the safest roads in the world and this experience was super easy.
@nightwing4k you'll love it mate, trust me I'll definitely want to do it again the next time I visit Japan. It was so much fun! The company are great and keep you entertained!
This was the 2 hour one, this can become a bit long but we wanted to see the rainbow Bridge which is only on available on the longer drive. There is also a shorter 1 hour option available.
This was the best thing I have done in Japan. Hell, it might be one the best things I've done travelling!!!
Snap! Couldn't agree more - really unique experience
I never did it last visit but now its booked for May at night! :) Very excited! And looks so much cooler at night :D thank you for the video!
You're welcome, I'm glad it helped 😊

Exactly 😂😂
That was so cool! I’m going to Japan in October and this is definitely going to be on my list 😁
Awesome! Glad you liked the video and hope you enjoy this as much as we did 😊
Included for free as part of your ticket price.
Have you been to any other locations? I'm not sure which street kart to choose. Some go through Shibuya crossing

Booked to do this on Sunday, can't wait

Hi we got a train to the closest station and it was a straight road that took 15-20 mins to walk
Hey! Looks a lot of fun - did you do the 4pm or 7pm slot? Thanks!
@@monicapatel6194 7pm slot, so that we would have a higher chance of night driving and seeing the lights 😀
@@CRD90 🙌 thank you!
Do you need a license to be able to drive this? I wish there’s a two seater 😔
Yep definitely need a license as you're out on the public roads.
I'm not sure if 2 seater karts exist. You could perhaps message them to see?

What area did you do this in as it looks like you weren't in the busy areas?
I think it was called the Tokyo bay area 🤔 but yes definitely more quiet as there were docks nearby so not so much traffic.
What time did you arrive back to the kart shop?
@@sammiestarrrr just under 2 hours in total so roughly before 9pm
Hey. I have a UK driving license and I'm assuming you did too. Did you have to do anything to drive abroad?
Yep you need to get an international driving permit from the post office. Costs about £5 and can be issued on the same day.
They sell this ride on Klook as well. Any diff if purchasing from there?
