- My American family has NEVER been to Japan up until now!! They are in for a treat! In this video, we hit the ground running with them and have a blast spending the first few days in Tokyo. :) We experience and learn more about the Japanese traditional dress & cultures, experience amazing views of Tokyo during the sunset, and have a blast riding around Shibuya square on Mario Karts! It's a freaking blast!
Not only that but they are amazing grandparents and wanted to see our girls in DisneySea and Disneyland! We definitely ate our way through the park and had a blast doing it with family!
As always, thanks for watching! Please subscribe to keep following along :).

Lots of love,
Tanner, Risa, Willa + Noa! :)
うわあー!
お子ちゃま達可愛いらしい!❤❤
Greetings (or good morning to you guys) from Germany.
How is this possible? You have two absolutely adorably cute kids who can charm the socks off anyone.
One, yeah, but two?!? 😍
Great to see your whole family together, visiting you guys. Have the best of times.
You are so kind! We feel like we got lucky because they're personalities are the best!! It was wonderful to have family come visit, so it's great you can see that! :) thank you!
So much delicious food! Thank god I was eating breakfast while watching (Good Morning from Germany!). Tokyo Disney looks amazing! Also, Noah is showing so much character already, she's so cheeky! You can see how she's really engaged with everything and even tries to pull little pranks. I recently rewatched the first Germany videos while deep cleaning the house, and Noah grabbing for every piece of food she can get really shows she is Willa's sister 😂
Also I wrote under one of the first videos you made in Japan how I can already see you in my mind wearing kimonos and that was spot on, so naturally now I will be changing my career path to professional medium🔮
She is so cheeky! We can't tell you how many times we have thought to ourselves: "Oh, we are in for it with her personality" of course, we love that she has so much personality at this age and we're excited to see how she grows up. These two love each other so much already and they also get into fights nearly every day lol.
Yes, go for it! lol
i was twice in japan and love it there, wasn´t in tokyo yet but that will be my next vocation place :D
It’s fun to hear that you have travelled to Japan but not in Tokyo! That’s rare because most people make a stop in Tokyo! Where did you go the other times? :)
Hey. Nice to see your family again. You're all beautiful in your kimonos 😅. Disney looks like a lot of fun for all of you. Yes, I would prefer to go into nature. Can't wait vor the next one. Greetings from Germany.
It was fun to have our family come out and to share some of that time with you all!
So great to see your parents and sister enjoying themselves - so many fun activities!!!
Thank you! They had a blast and we loved it with them too! :)
Grafenwöhr is actually the same as Tokyo...just without all that stuff. I don't understand why there wasn't Mario Kart racing there.
By the way: You look great in the kimonos
Exaclty, nearly identifcal lol! Thank you, it was a fun experience for us.
That was alot of fun to watch. Just had to rewind the video to 12:54 for some times as I thought to hear the sound to Mary Poppins song of "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious". Would be also interesting to know more about that Mario Kart ride in the public streets of Tokyo. How is this organized? Do you need to have a valid drivers license to go on? As someone without knowing the "street rules" and signs you could cause severe issues...
Anyway, just loved it and you guys obviously had a lot of fun yourself which is most important.
The Mario Kart driving is limited to those with an international driver's license. There are several companies who offer the rentals, and when you show up on the day of the tour/rental, you get instructions, and then have a leader sho drives in front to show you which way to go and such.
Thank you! We had a blast while they were here!
@@OurStorytoTell Makes totally sense. Thank you very much for your additional explanation. Greetings from Germany 👋
Oh my! So many people!! Looks like everyone had a God time. Love watching and seeing everyone's faces. The kimonos were so beautiful and looked like fun for sure. Keep on adventuring and sharing ❤. Big smiles all around!
Thank you so much! It was so good for us having family come visit! :)
Willa looked so cute! 🌸
She’s getting so big!
It is so much fun and a great joy watching you guys exploring this new country I always found that Japan 🇯🇵 is worth exploring … have fun 🤩! All the best wishes from Germany 🇩🇪 😉😃✌🏻
We're loving it! Japan is much larger than I think we both initially imagined, so we're happy there is so much to explore. Thanks for the wishes :)
@@OurStorytoTell you are welcome Guys 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🙂🙂🙂
nice to see a family focused travel vlog in tokyo.
We agree!
Wow!!! Asakusa was my home for 7 yrs. Memories....:-)
Hello again ! Next time when you visit Asakusa, don't forget to make a rickshaw-ride through downtown streets . . . .😊
We saw a lot of those during our visit!
Wow, everyone looks great in kimono. It is so beautiful and cute.👘 Daddy's kimono looks like a samurai, so it's really cool! 🏯
Oh wow that is so nice! Thank you!! 🫶
Loving your Japanese journey. Thank you
Thank you!
The Mario Karts looked pretty cool, though that White BMW SUV looked like it was having none of it.
Willa is getting so big so fast.
And little Noa is ever cuter.
Nice Kimonos you chose.
Do you feel that Japanese natives might resent foreigners and tourists wearing kimonos?
Go-cart riding right on the regular streets sharing the space with cars seems quite frightening to me 😧
quote "Do you feel that Japanese natives might resent foreigners and tourists wearing kimonos?" Same question came into my mind. But I guess in case they do, they would never ever show that. Due to what they consider as polite. But I may be wrong....
I'm sure there are locals who view it from both sides, but as a general perception when we were walking around, getting ready and such, that it is not looked down upon. That said, Japanese can be reserved and soft spoken at times, so they might be thinking something different. We like to think that most have positive thoughts about foreigners wearing kimono :)
@@Herzschreiber Most Japanese see it as appreciation than appropriation.
@@Mwoods2272 Thanks for answering. I have seen it in western Arfrica that people see it as an appreciation and it makes them proud, but since there are big differences in cultural mind sets, I did not want to transfer that assumption to other countries.
@@Herzschreiber It's the US that has a problem, not the rest of the world.
welcome back to us! and enjoy Tokyo where it is larger than many guess!
It is so huge!
The most adorable family!😊
awww thank you!!
OMG. The Mario Karts look so much fun!
They were so much fun!
Lovely family♡ 日本に来てくれてありがとう♫
Awww thank you!!
This video was a lot of fun! Noa is getting so big and has a big personality like her sister hehe. I would love to do the go carts that looked so much fun but a little scary being on the main roads with big cars.
Isn't she though? We can hardly believe it sometimes.
USJにも行くのかな?日本を楽しんで下さい笑
We hope to visit it someday!! :)
日本へようこそ、良い滞在を
MashAllah beautiful sharing ❤❤❤❤❤
素晴らしい
着物姿最高に似合ってました。❤
Thank you!
On what age was your sister adpoted?
All the locals hate Mario kart. The accident rate is very high.
Interesting to hear! And a bummer as well that it has high accident rates!
Funny to see these electronic toilets and on the other those literally holes in the ground.. Like you can still find it in Turkey or Greece...🤔
I know Japan has the nicest toilets we've ever seen, but then occasionally we are humbled with the squatty pottys lol!
enjoy japan and find new orient
In Japan it always seems like just a vacation. Not like a real home for you. It's a shame that you didn't stay in Germany. But maybe again sometime. It would certainly be better for your children in Germany too. So we hope you will move back to Germany soon. You are always welcome.
I know you are not to blamed but I'd like you to know that the cart service is nearly illegal and many Japanese people, including me, dislike it. I hope you never recommend it.
このマリオカートって迷惑だよね。
なんでこんなの許されてるの?
We could see that being something locals hate! As a foreigner we thought it was fun, but we could see where you’re coming from!
マリオカート最悪!!!!最悪止めてくれ!!!!!!!
Japanese police should ban the karts for safety reasons. And it's an eyesore.
Aww your patents & Sister were having a lot of fun , it’s lovely they got a cross to visit you all 🫶.
( just catching up with your videos. Had some internet issues ). Have a good weekend 🥰
