    That sure brings back memories. I had that one when I was little.
    The boats were gone and I always wondered what they were like.
    That was in good shape. It must not have been driven in the winter, lol.

    My '61 set , original paint, is a little darker blue. The robin egg color on this one looks like the '62-64 camper set or the '62 Jet delivery truck. I guess they made 2 colors. Great job.

    I applaud your pre-sanding of the metal before putting on the primer! It made the paint look like glass. Because of the slots on the bed of the truck, I believe either a cover or bed stakes belong with this setup!

    The main reason i love this channel is because he doesn't restore what he just destroyed.Other channels just beat up their old toys just so we can watch them restore again,while they are good at what they're doing and as fun as watching them are,knowing they purposefully wrecked what is already good just doesn't feel right for me.

I love that you found replacement boats and motors to place onto the trailer. Another 100% restoration. Actually, more like 150%. Better-than-new.😃By the way, your lighting and multi-camera views are excellent! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Great job. This restoration of the truck & boat trailer was executed wonderfully. The paintwork & prep - made this job a big success I also like that during reassembly that u took the time 2 fold all the tabs down tightly as this will probably never be taken apart again - this alone helps in the final appearance

    You did a way better job than other restoration channels but I’m not gonna lie. The sudden loud music can get annoying especially when using headphones. Most people who watch these type of videos are trying to relax and I’m guessing the loud music is why it’s getting some dislikes because everything else about this video is perfect. Regardless, I’m subscribing to see more of your future work. Great job!

    I thought for sure that the chrome grill and bumper were goners because of the rust.
    But like the other parts you salvaged them and it all looks good as new.
    I also like the extras you showed us at the end. Did the outboard motors and figures come with pickup and trailer, or did you make them?

    • @ar_restoration
      @ar_restoration  2 года назад +1

      Thank you very much for your compliment and wonderful comment!!! 👍👍🎉🍻The outboard motors and figures are also from Tonka, the motors come from other boat truck but not for this boat service truck set, l think that the two figures made by 70s come from Tonka renegade jeep. 😊

The VW Bug my Grandparents got me in '68-70 and only allowed me to play with it. Then in '86 after they passed away I inherited it. Time for my grandson to have it, with a little brass tag on the bottom showing our 3 names and room for more.
