Today we went over and unboxed the brand new traxxas maxx slash !
Maxx Slash retains the unmistakable short course body style of its Slash lineage but injects it with a healthy dose of high-horsepower adrenaline. Wide fenders and sculpted lines give Maxx Slash a more aggressive look while rugged body reinforcements keep it looking fresh after a rough day at the track.
    Short Course Wheels
    Short Course Wheels
Maxx Slash rides on dual-diameter short course wheels with a large glue surface for secure bead mounting. The wheels are fully sealed to keep out dirt and water that can upset tire balance and degrade the foam inserts. An internal 17mm splined hub provides maximum power transfer with a flanged outer locknut for a more realistic appearance.
    Adjustable Wheelie Bar
    Adjustable Wheelie Bar
With the hard-hitting punch of 6s power on hand, an adjustable wheelie bar is required. Maxx Slash’s adjustable wheelie bar maximizes traction and control during full throttle acceleration. Set it low to prevent lift during full throttle acceleration on hard surfaces, or set it higher to serve as a transparent backstop during high-speed, high-flying off-road action.
    Heavy Duty Bumpers
    Heavy Duty Bumpers
Heavy-duty front and rear Slash-style bumpers help protect critical components from impacts. The bumpers, combined with a short course body that covers the tires, allow for fender-to-fender contact for competitive and authentic racing action.
    Belted Maxx SC Tires
    Belted Maxx SC Tires
Large-diameter Maxx SC tires feature wide tread blocks for sure-footed traction on just about any surface. The innovative belted design combines with a long-wearing rubber compound for total control across a variety of terrain. Belted Maxx SC tires work just as well on pavement and provide realistic performance as you powerslide Maxx Slash around corners.
    Shock Tower Design
    Shock Tower Design
Maxx Slash’s integrated shock towers are part of the chassis and produce a rigid, triangulated structure to mount and protect the shock caps. Heavy-duty body mounts secure directly to the reinforced shock towers for maximum strength and impact resistance.
    Fixed Mesh Motor Cradle
    Fixed Mesh Motor Cradle
The motor and cradle join together to form a fixed gear mesh. A heavily reinforced mounting plate in the chassis keeps the motor and spur gear in perfect alignment. This innovative solution eliminates flex and greatly extends gear life.
    Low-CG Chassis
    Low-CG Chassis
The new chassis lowers the center of gravity and extends the wheelbase for responsive handling. A fighter jet aesthetic wraps around an engineered truss design that builds in strength and rigidity where it’s needed most. Proven-tough Maxx bulkheads are tightly integrated front and rear.
    Battery Compartment
    Battery Compartment
Maxx Slash utilizes Sledge’s battery compartment and retention design to provide versatility and superior protection for your battery investment. The precise snap-lock hold down makes it easy to install and secure Traxxas iD batteries, including a single large capacity 4s 6700, two 2s 7600, or two 3s 5000 battery packs for 6s running.
    Waterproof Electronics
    Waterproof Electronics
Maxx Slash is not limited by mud, snow, or water and neither is your fun. A sealed box protects the TQi receiver from water for all-weather driving. An easy-access port on top allows instant access to the receiver while retaining the box’s waterproof integrity.
    Maxx® Steering Servo
    Maxx® Steering Servo
The powerful steering servo mounts solidly to the Maxx Slash chassis for enhanced support and impact resistance. With its proven durability in MAXX monster trucks, the digital, ball bearing design delivers 285 oz-in of torque for responsive and precise steering control.
    Fixed Camber and Toe Links
    Fixed Camber and Toe Links
Fixed, non-adjustable camber and toe links provide ultimate durability by ensuring that the action doesn’t get sidelined by broken turnbuckle. Double shear connections wherever the links attach eliminate annoying pop offs and tear outs.
    Long-Travel Suspension
    Long-Travel Suspension
Maxx Slash flies across washboard and soaks up bumps like a Baja truck thanks to its long-travel suspension. Adjustable suspension droop allows you to customize Maxx Slash to dominate any surface. Use full travel for maximum capability over rough off-road terrain or tighten the suspension travel for responsive handling and grip on the track.
    Heavy Duty Suspension Arms
    Heavy Duty Suspension Arms
Maxx Slash’s oversized double wishbone suspension arms maintain proper suspension geometry throughout the entire range of travel. Double-shear connections provide incredible strength and impact resistance.

Traxxas vs traxxas.... Hmmm sounds like shit vs the bucket, can swap places, spend another $1,000 and still have $1,000+ worth esc/engines left over.... Youd think being of castles platform they would actually perform like them. Best beginner cars at experienced prices, just cant swap any electronics out witout a jigsaw, another $100 for mounts and dont forget your $200 traxxas batteries or happy searching for a battery that fits. Best 3s lineup available by far, go to arrma or another for 3s+ unless happy with what you overspend for. Wheres the MoJave? Oh wait, your trying to make traxxas look good.

I’ve got Arrma I just think most of there rcs are garbage to work on , Traxxas is definitely better in that sense and yes I actually do prefer to use Traxxas batteries in most of my cars. I don’t care if I have to replace them every 150 charges after swelling it’s safer to get new Lipos . It is more expensive to upgrade Traxxas but like being said the more you spend on custom parts to upgrade the chances are the better the car will perform
