Yes. The fan itself is fantastic, but the fact that you have to dish out another $130 for a stupid cap because their provided cap is too small to handle a slope is really a shame. Otherwise we are happy with the fan. It's very quiet.
My only issue is that you cannot operate the light and fan on separate switches. I had to cap off the red wire and now have a light switch that doesn’t do anything. Now I have to use the remote control to turn on the light instead of one switch for the fan and the other for the light. The manufacturer said because of the dc motor. They could used separate wires and just join both together if you only have 1 switch. I had to shim the holder to get the hanger rod level and controller to fit correctly. It was binding and not hang straight down.
@@cesarguerrero9947 you can get it from fanimation direct or look at the model number you need for the specific color that matches your fan and search that model number on eBay that's what I did and I got my vaulted ceiling kit for less than half of retail
There is a slant ceiling kit for sale for these fans normally about $116 for the kit in your choice of colors to match your fan I actually found the kit on eBay for only $75
On the remote control press the "up" button to turn on the fan or light. To turn the fan or light off, press the center fan or light buttons, respectively.
could you have this fan on 2 switches. As in hook the blue to the red wire? I have the fan currently and was also curious on the brown wire that goes to the lights too.
Glad I watched this video before I purchased this model as the gap at the celing is a deal breaker

I bought a 12" and 24" down rod and took the one I didn't use back for a refund.
You can purchase a slope ceiling installation kit separately
Where can I find it

We had the same problem with the slope and the mount cover, thank you for the video we were looking for a solution
You are welcome.
Hopefully the manufacture will increase the size of the cover in the future to resolve this issue.

@@portlandlocalchurch8168 $116 for an aluminum cover seems ridiculous, don't you think?
I want as least as possible down rod. Can the downrod be cut shorter I am attaching the fan onto a beam
The fan comes with a 6-inch down rod, which is sufficient if your ceiling doesn't have a slope.
Just bought a 4 inch downrod at Lowes. Makes having the fan on an 8-ft ceiling less intimidating.
How long is this downrod?
18 inch length
I just purchased the exact fan, but I hav we difficulty with turning fan and the light on. Any suggestions?

No idea!
Just, brown, to brown, red to red, etc.
My only problem was connecting 4 green wires to the ground. Too many wires to wrap around!
