One time I lost one of my SS Sideswipe's blades on the bus. Luckily, I was able to use the remaining one to make "prosthetics", and may buy a broken on in the future for a full replacement.
How I store my accessories is just stuff as much of the remaining ones/not currently on the figure in KingRise Optimus' trailer, lol! Man, I hate the possibility of losing accessories! Edit: Most of them, a few accessories are just sitting on the shelf, but again, MOST of them.

What's the deal with sideswipe? Is it a thing with dotm sideswipe because I got the rotf one and it's holding itself together well. (except for the arms, they flop around a bit)

The transforming issue is a pain for me as well. At least for the ones I've heavily customized, I am very afraid to transform them, especially when my plastic glue is running short, since homemade parts made by handheld tools are every fragile. I've had tons of instences where I wasted time where I could be studying or doing important tasks just to repair a figure.
For my accessory storage I have these little modular tool box things that are just perfect for accessory storage, they are about the dimensions of a deluxe class box and they are plastic, they fit great in drawers

Nah I agree with you, sometimes I get too tired to transform something back (SS 18) and I just leave it there for like thirty minutes until I have the energy.

One of Cybertron Downshift's missiles fired off somewhere into my room. Despite completely cleaning up the room and moving furniture to search for it, I haven't seen that missile in 5 years.
Another idea for you. When the show has a really good character design that doesn't make it to the corresponding toy line. ROD 2p15 is probably the worst offender at this. (Examples: Chop Shop, Glowstrike, Saberhorn, Filch, and Vertebreak.)
For the accessories I usually have like a tackle box stored with all my figures stuff in spectate bins in the tackle box. And make sure you always store it in the same spot
I keep my scraphook on my desk so when ever I’m using my ss bee movie ratchet or brawn his back pack is perfect storage for them it would have been cool for scraphook to have a sniper or something cause that would fit perfectly in the gap/back pack

I used to have an Animated Lockdown, but all I have of him now is his chainsaw (this version's replacement for his hook). I have no clue what happened. I also used to have the RotF Voyager Class Fallen, but only had his foot for years... that's gone now too. Funnily enough, my Legends Class Fallen was missing one foot.
I have the dotm optimus from studio series and I dunno if it's a voyager or a leader but it takes a lot of energy and effort to transform. He's been stuck in robot mode for a very long time now for that reason
I usually keep my more complex Transformers in Robot mode, some transformations are literally a pain in the ass to covert to vehicle mode and back to robot mode
EVERY TIME I BOUGHT AN OFFICIAL HASBRO TITAN CLASS, hell, EVERY FIGURE I BOUGHT FROM TITANS RETURN (over $450 in total) HAD A QC ISSUE. I only JUST learned to love again. EVEN MPM Prime (the first one) AND the Toys R Us MP-10 had QC issues. I have none of them now. :(
Loosing the parts is the primary reason why I won't buy any of the Gaming Studio Series figures. Having to remove the arm just to use the blaster is just asking for trouble.
ugh the number one thing that gets me is scaling. if the figure is too tall or too short when compared to how I think they should be relative to the other figures, it drives me up the wall. ill gladly take an inferior figure (articulation wise) if it scales better with my head cannon autobot team and decepticon team. standing earthrise optimus next to the new armada prime literally hurts my soul.
I have a dedicated box for all my mecha and transformer display pieces. But it's getting chock full of all the alternative weapon load outs and different hand sculpts that you get with Gundams. 😅
One of my neighbors kids was into transformers and I'm a transformers adult. I have a ladder class rotf mixmaster and anybody that knows that figure knows it can be a pain, now add a hyperactive 5 year old to the mix.
Bro I had so many complicated figures when I was younger and whenever I played with them, I did not care how long it takes to transform them, I always had to transform it back into robot form

I've somehow lost the combiner pelvis off a Combiner Wars Battle Core Optimus Prime, Siege Chromia's pelvis, & Prime Arms Micron Arcee's head. They just vanished & I will probably never see them again.
