I ordered the Erish 3 Pro and the J3 with all the trimmings. I've gotta support US based, family run companies. And they're in Florida, too. Where I was born and have lived my entire 44 years. Geshelli is my number one in this hobby.
The SJY moonlights seem to love this amp in particular. Got mine the other day and been testing with a couple different sets but there is some special sauce in that pairing.

Review of DS Tungsten has been promised since before you had the 465 over Christmas. Zoes approaching Elon Musk level of reliability.
Best box I've seen them do yet.
They are Swan M3A. I am still rocking them. Love em! I am pre-amping them from a Topping A90 that also changes the preamp out with gain adjustment. Also rocking a Geshelli Labs J2 DAC
BTW, Erish 1 was up on my normal desk to power tungsten. Lol
Interested in the double sided review... not as hard to drive but still hard of course... but wondering if they will be any good as a studio headphone
I picked one up with the Blue Mist colorwave along the J2S. I would've waited for the J3 😅I upgraded from a cheap Objective2 Headphone Amplifier.
2 watts seems anemic for the tungsten headphones. What amp do you recommend to use instead?
Wattage is not Gain. the GAIN is what Tungsten wants. I can run a Tungsten on half a watt if the Gain of the amp is high enough.
You know what Gesheli really needs to do? Make a stackable master clock. That be soooo bad ass! And it be like only $250 or something.

It is in the works. I have almost nothing bad to say about it.
However let me state this, when it first came out I bought one, I also have the Ifi Ipro Ican Signature amp, the controller for the Ifi iDSD Neo will controller different things on the Ifi Ipro Ican Signature amp and vice versa.
So if your gonna run the Ifi iDSD Neo with the Ifi Ipro Ican signature amp you can’t use either controller because it’ll controller different things for each device.

I never sit at a desk to listen to music. Why am I not deeply invested in Geshelli DACs & preamps? No remote. I've got 2 J2 DACs I never use. 1 AKM, 1 ESS. I've only got 1 preamp that has a remote that I could use with a J2, the Topping A70 Pro, but that combo is a bit harsh to use on everything I need it for. I'm just using the optical out of my new TV for streaming video & music to my stereo rig in PCM at 48khz max. That is all the TV will output for audio resolution. What is odd is that if I Bluetooth to my Bose Flex it sound smooth & clear. If I just use the TV speakers it sounds smooth & clear. I've tried a Topping E50, the J2 AKM & ESS, & the FX Audio DR07 DACs & they all sometimes sound brittle, etched, harsh; even with the Singxer SA1, but especially with the Topping A70 Pro. I even put a Xduoo MT603 tube buffer/preamp in the chain which helps some, but it's still not as smooth & clear as the Bose Bluetooth speaker or the TV speakers. I'm currently running the DR07 into the MT603, into an Orchard Audio RCA to XLR converter. I'm using a very smooth power amp, CLA200, & Triangle Borea BR02. It's still kind of harsh on some things. Now I'm considering getting either a Fiio R9 or Eversolo A8 wired direct to my internet box to see if I can find that smooth & clear audio I desire, but those are very expensive for me. Where was I? Oh, no remote. Get a frigging remote Geshelli.
For their DACs, a remote to control variable output level would be nice. With an analog knob on their amps, they'd have to implement a motorized pot.
@@mattrismatt Yes. That would add very little to the cost per unit, but add greatly to the versatility of the units. I don't need a remote for a DAC & a preamp. Just one or the other. A combo DAC/preamp with remote would be ideal.

@crazyprayingmantis5596 I can't agree with that. I got them after seeing Z Reviews review. I find his analysis of them to be accurate. For the $300 I paid for them on Amazon, they're definitely punching far above their class with a smooth & clear sound at the beginning. Unfortunately I think I may have damaged the one on the right side, watching the 2009 Star Trek movie at Dolby Theater type volume levels. However that isn't the cause of the issue I've had on some source material, as the issue of harsh sound was occurring prior to that, with some music or movie sound, while others sounded great. The harshness is intermittent but now when it occurs it is even worse than before. I would like a pair of Mofi Source Point 10s but bloody hell, they are expensive.

I like all the know it all comments from people who obviously have never even heard a Geshelli product saying just buy an SMSL or Topping. The Erish 3 is Fully Balanced with 4 Sparkos 2590 Op Amps in it... Ultra Low Noise Power Supply Circuit. You aren't getting that in a $200 SMSL
@@Northernlightzzzz I've owned plenty of SMSL stuff. Geshelli stuff is easily better to the ears. Don't give 2 sh!ts about what measurements say. My ears are the deciders... Not measurements, charts and Harmon graphs. Come back after you've actually heard a Geshelli product with the Sparkos Op Amps

You haven't heard Erish 3 because only select few have it(like me) and you definitely haven't heard the new J3 Pro DAC because it's just been announced.I'll have it on Saturday btw. I've had some SMSL stuff and it's good... but the Geshelli stuff with the Sparkos is better. I've got the Topping DX9 All in One and it's the best DAC/Amp combo I've heard under $2K. But I've actually HEARD IT and OWN IT to make these opinions/comments. I don't look at measurements and then talk out my @ss on Gear and Headphones I haven't heard like most of the ASR lunatics... who basically just come off like wannabe audiophiles who are too poor to buy anything other than bargain Topping and SMSL products. And that's fine... but stay in your lane when it comes to knocking stuff like the new Geshelli products you obviously haven' heard... because most haven't yet

Are you afraid of color? Or the plexi front? The company started making Plexi boxes, the audio thing was a hobby and they combined the two. Its awesome.
I get that they are a small little business. But if its clean power there is nothing special about it. Get an smsl or topping for half the price with more power.

Its more than that. The Sparkos Op amps alone are worth the extra. Getting that smooth buttery sound out of it.

Too expensive for the power output. 550usd for 2 watts at 32ohms is borderline scam.
There's so much more to headphone amplifiers than power output. The appeal of this unit is that it has high grade op-amps, various cases available (incl. various woods), and is made in the USA. Geshelli's customer service is a among the best in the business.
@@mattrismattI agree. Don’t pay attention to people complaining about cost. Let them go spend money on a cheap brand with poor customer service.
On a side note, geshilli labs is unique in their own for allowing customers for customization with the plating and cases which gives it a nice touch to each purchases

From personal experience and from others' testimonials, Geshelli Labs will go above and beyond, should any issues arise with their products. And if you're an American, you should take pride in supporting an American business.
If you prefer chi-fi prices, I suppose it makes sense to choose otherwise for your audio products.

@masterxyr this dude gets less than 10k views on videos and has a massive house. How do you think he does that? Probably a lot of ties with these manufacturers that hes in constant contact with. You dont think hes taking money to say something is "the best thing ever" yeah ok. If you knew how much it costs to actually make that amp compared to what they sell it for youd be amazed.
@masterxyr its sound. Its not some new idea. you can only make it so clean. Its a hobby that is plagued by "well i can hear the difference" and "its subjective". This leaves a lot of room to embelish and when confronted about it, nobody can say for a fact youre lying. Its a perfect storm for reviewers. Is there a difference between something like a bose headphone and a meze, oh yeah definitely. But it gets to a point where theres massive deminishing returns, the more you spend. People have been working on audio tech for almost 150 years. Weve gotten really good at it. You dont need to spend 5k on headphones, 2k on an amp, and another 1k on a dac to get the same performance as a lot of these boutique companies. But you get people like this that get paid to push the idea that you do "to really experience your music".
Something to consider for your future comments: just because you feel passionately about something doesn't mean you're right about it.
