    I am happy to own both. If you can only afford one please please go with the C2. I do find the CS more comfortable in the summer months. The shorter slide and lighter weight go a long way for me when it comes to comfort in the summer. You are absolutely right when you say they conceal about the same. Comfort on the other hand I will go with the CS especially in the hot summer months.

    • @OdesiusKrosa

      Being you have in hand experience with both I have a question. Would you take a C2 or wait for the new C this summer? I have small hands (women’s medium) and it seems everyone says the slight difference in profile on the grips does make a difference. I have adjust slightly to properly reach the trigger on a Glock 17. Everything I’ve seen online looks like the difference in any of the Staccatos would be enough so I wouldn’t have to shift. I don’t have any way to handle the Staccatos in person but found a c2 decked out about six hours away at a very good deal.

    • @joemiester31
      @joemiester31 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@OdesiusKrosathe new c might fit your hands better but it will definitely have more felt recoil due to its weight. The c2 is thick but companies do offer grip reductions. I wear a large male glove and it fits me nicely. Lately I have been carrying the original c. It may be less in the capacity department but it’s the perfect weight and size. The grip is significantly slimmer and much shorter than the c2 and cs. You may want to consider it. They are probably being sold at pretty good deals now too.

      I have the Staccato C2 and WC SFX9 and the Staccato is way more fun to shoot. I have lots of failure to feed with the SFX9 whoch has never happened even once on either of the Staccatos. The WC SFX9 in 3.25” with 15 round grip version has 2x the recoil of the Staccato C2. I never sell guns, so I’m going to keep it, but I’ll never carry it.
      Update: bought another Staccato C2 so both the wife and I can carry them. The Wilson SFX9 is back at Wilson to see if they can get their product to work properly. I made a video of the failures which I may upload someday.

    The CS is an anomaly. I hear many people talk about how snappy it is and how it’s no better than the C2, but then there are just as many saying it’s a soft shooting gun.
    I’m in the soft shooting camp. I had the P and the C2 and I was one of the people who had issues with the way the grip was made that caused my shooting hand thumb to get beaten half to death. The CS grip doesn’t cause that issue for me. The P was the nicest and most accurate Staccato I’ve shot, but between the CS and C2, I’m taking the CS all day.
    My wife, who is very recoil sensitive, shot my CS next to my G45 and she said she felt that the CS had less recoil than the Glock.
    I’m certainly not discounting anyone who calls the CS snappy, and I completely understand that recoil is a subjective thing, but I’m amazed at how wildly different the experience is from one person to the next.
    Good that there are multiple options available so that there is something for everyone. I’m waiting for a Staccato P with the CS style grip but just a tad longer. That will be an amazing gun!

    Hey man, I got a question. I have a CS and a C2 both have had issues with the firing pin hanging up and sticking out a quarter inch. C2 made it 1200 ish rounds before it happened and CS about 500 rounds. Is cleaning the firing pin channel a required part of maintenance?

    • @glocksrock1
      @glocksrock1  Год назад +2

      It could be a couple of different things. First, depending on the round count, you could have a broken or weak firing pin spring. Second, if you spray lube into the firing pin hole it could cause excessive carbon build up. Third, you could have a firing pin hole that is out of spec or possibly have a burr on it. Easiest thing to do is remove the firing pin and inspect the spring and firing pin channel for excessive buildup. If that doesn’t fix it, I’d send them in.

    • @getspooled8684

      @GR1videos thanks for the reply, so I did end up cleaning out the channel.
