I could careless about rescheduling anything as long as you are healthy & with us on this earth. July 4th, 2024 I will be 8 yrs 100% clean & sober. Time flies. It almost doesn't feel real, because I've lost so much in that 8 yrs. Starting with losing my Mom which was the beginning of my sobriety journey, then my BFF, then my Nanny, then my Uncle, then my Dad. Sadly, I could keep going, but just know if i can stay sober through all that you can too. Anyone in here can DM me 24/7. I'll reach out. We might not know each other but we have this bond we share. As an addict in active recovery for the last almost 6 years, I really and truly appreciate and respect seeing honesty and accountability when facing the public. It can be really hard, especially with so many other people judging you and you’re judging yourself. To own this so bravely and then also to address it because realizing that you are one of the lucky few to have the opportunity to do so is so encouraging and so commendable. when i quit drugs and alcohol it was rough, but ultimately very rewarding... i was ashamed of myself at the time so know that there is no shame in anything. you are strong for wanting to work on yourself... mass respect for everyone who struggles with this
