A most entertaining story. Very enjoyable. And quite sophisticated for 1970 (when I think it said it was first broadcast). I'm thinking of the (illicit) transfer of money by computer (in addition to the more traditional forms of robbing the bank in question.
Someone asked for a synopsis, and this is going to be fairly brief and oblique: someone knows about a very easy way into bank premises and puts this information into the hands of people knowledgeable and ruthless enough to make use of this information. (Ruthless, but not violent - as someone else says, there is no violence in this story, which makes a pleasant change).
But the main partners in the robbery have their own secret plans to make sure that they each get the major share of the profits. What could possibly go wrong ... ?
I was convinced that the actor playing Pyrus was the same one who plays Maurice, Charles Paris's agent in the Radio 4 Charles Paris series (Jon Glover), but it wasn't. Had exactly the same voice and mannerisms though.
Like someone else, I also needed to listen to some bits twice to get some of the detail, and I might listen a third time, but it won't be a hardship! :-)
    Thank you for uploading this.

Having watched so much British TV and listened to an equal amount of radio there are two things that I, as a Kiwi, hv noticed: when moving from room to room how they close doors and the other thing is how obsequious they are to their bosses. Just saying!

Wonderful play. Old fashioned manners and no violence which I found refreshing. Dense plot development with several characters cheating on others but the police becoming the winners. A neat twist when they are about to arrest the bank manager. Worth a second listen. Brenda
