Still enjoying finding the cat. Reminds me of finding the duck with my children 40plus years ago. Second childhood? Or just simple delights never go away. Enjoying the drama, to, by the way!😄
Nice to hear Paul Kermack and Robert Trotter, who later found fame as regulars in the STV soap Take the High Road, as the main characters. I also note 3 other High Road regulars - John Young, Mary Riggins and Michael Elder, the latter also wrote many episodes of High Road. I enjoyed this radio play very much. Thank you. 😁 The only jarring note was the unsuitable music that drowned out some of the credits. 😒
@@chrissie1668 I'm 100% certain that the thumbnail image is AI. This type of imagery is used on so many RUclips radio plays, I find it difficult to decide whether to listen because it's obscuring a sense of whether it's an authentic old recording or something generated by AI.
@VictoriaAlfredSmythe there are so many options, why pick this one of you don't like it? And why complain about things that are so trivial? We still haven't cured childhood poverty you know.
I know what I'm listening to this afternoon. Thank you Joey
The second listening was equally satisfying as the first time many months ago!

Back to a world of mini skirts, typists office clerks and stereo systems, makes my old boomer heart feel warm
@@letterclips2430And unequal pay and work harassment..Easy trade off for the mini skirt lol
@@letterclips2430 and everyone smoking their heads off, slapping women’s bums and making lewd remarks…no thanks…

Nice ~~~
This series was set in the 1950s?
£3000 would have bought a house then - straight cash.
If there is an order in which I should be listening to these, I would appreciate your input ! Sincerely Melody 🎵 King 👑, Columbia Falls Montana
No order in particular is needed 😊
great
I would've liked to have heard the cast list clearly at the end, but the music made that impossible.
agree
❤❤❤❤❤❤ from England
Classic BBC quality, good story.
I love the accents
Do Scottish people really call their spouses by their first names? Strange. 🤔
👍❤️
Hate the AI imagery. not interested in a computer's vision of human words.
It's not AI and doesn't sound remotely like it is 🙄

@@chrissie1668the comment refers to the image, not the recording itself.

Agree A1 imagery is soulless. The audio is not though.
