I love the authentic, passionate, hilarious commentary. Look forward to every episode. You guys capture what I love about Australia. Keep up the good work.
Bleasdale have been cranking it for decades, lads. Loved them since I got here (1988), Langhorne Creek, their reds were ridiculously good in the early 90s so to see them doing this Malbec makes me smile inside....definitely gonna check this out...I love good Malbec...Thanks for a great vid.
Love that Australia does so much with Italian varietals. So unique. Just wish these wines would get exported to Europe more, rather than the same old barossa shiraz etc.
I suppose we're just responding to the environment as pressures mount on the growing-side. It'll get to Europe, it'll just take time - wine is an inherently conservative thing.
Yeah - the 'Wine Of The Week' is a little gimmicky TBH - a little like 'Who's Line Is It Anyway' - the scores kinda don't matter - but give you more of an indication of the wine we'd choose above others, on the day.
It'd be fun - that's for sure - I actually think maybe a website or database where people can see all the wines we've rated together and perhaps look for consistency from vintage to vintge.
Love these blind tastings and learning from you all. Some really interesting wines here. Keep them coming. Only thing I wasn’t keen on here is that a certain wine price guess jumped up between tasting and reveal. Lock in those guesses.
Thank you so much! Seriously means the world to get comments like this! We'll keep at it! You're right - we shouldn't sit on the fence, we gotta lock those scores in!
I really enjoy these blind tastings. You're clearly having fun, and whether you're right or wrong about the wines, we all learn something.
Thanks so much! We're so glad that's coming across on camera!

You're most welcome! Thank you so much! That's a genuinely awesome comment to leave :)
Nice vid, like the fun attitude
Thank you so much!

They've always scored really well in our tastings! Always welcome but unexpected! Malbec too - underrated here in Australia.

Great stuff , good value wines, altvars are the future for Oz wine…love the Luke Combs cap just saying ❤
Haha! It feels good to be seen haha!
5:15- Botris. Red. Interesting…
Haha yeah - maybe off the mark a little? 🤔
So when do we get the blind tasting of the multiple wine of the week winners to get the overall winner???
You can taste several good wines at once and get "winners and losers", which is a bit cruel.
@marknelson8724 the whole concept is just a bit of fun. I wouldn't see a "wine of wines" being any different.

That's genuinely not a bad idea - but we'd need to re-purchase all those wines!
It'd be fun - that's for sure - I actually think maybe a website or database where people can see all the wines we've rated together and perhaps look for consistency from vintage to vintge.
Brendan, you need to tell us where you get these shirts
Aaah that one came from a USA wine podcast that no longer exists: called Natural Disasters - got a bunch of great tees from them a couple years back!
Great video! Special kudos to Henry Jules Winnfield-Doyle 😀
Haha! Thank you so much!

Hahaha trying to sneak Trufflehound past Brendon... NOT TODAY!
Hahaha! It's a pretty standout, unique wine to be honest
