  • MOST FIGHTERS HAVE NO IDEA HOW PUNCHING ON THE STREET IS DIFFERENT THAN SPORT PUNCHING.
    Sport punching is designed to reduce impact and protect the fighters. As a coach and tactical CQC Instructor, learning the difference may save your life. On the streets, your hands are not casted or wrapped and protected by padded gloves. On the streets, being able to pick up weapons is important and broken hands don't make gun or weapon retention easy. Here is a quick video to show you how to covert your striking from sport to tactical. It's a game changer.
    For more info email Amy@JingShenMaster.com or text Grand Master Greg Fraser at 619-379-4265.

    For some reason the only thing that's happened to me is the webbing between my thumb hurt, it was a technical knock out in boxing terms so ig the slight "injury" was worth it.

    What if I knuckle conditioned the third and forth knuckles, does that make a difference in preventing fractures? I ask because I have conditioned them.

    • @JingShenKuoshu
      @JingShenKuoshu  Год назад +1

      Yes, things like Iron Palm Training definitely helps if you are planning on being in regular combat. However, using proper mechanics is smarter and your knuckles won't look like a foot.

    Is this part of the weck method? I've seen something similar from Shane Fazen.

    • @JingShenKuoshu
      @JingShenKuoshu  2 года назад

      Well David Weck and I had several discussions on the way a fist should be made. His version is more oriented toward sprinters and requires a bit more detail. Having the middle finger touching the middle of the palm in a kickstand position rather than grilled in like a gripping fist is the primary principle of safety and better mechanics.

    Can one make their hand stronger after a boxers fracture?

    • @JingShenKuoshu
      @JingShenKuoshu  2 месяца назад

      That is debatable. Iron Palm trains fists by smashing them into rice, sand, and other materials to help build callus, bone density and toughness. These practitioners often end up with a deformed fist that can handle much more impact than other martial artists.
      Muay Thai practitioners use a similar concept to train their shins.
      Bones that heal after a break can heal stronger, however, they may not. The fist is a series of small bones that are susceptible to injury. I recommend using hammer fists, palm heel, and elbow strikes if you are looking to generate more force and potential injury to an attacker.
      Does that help answer your question?

    Broke my 5th metacarpal in 8th grade on the back of some dudes head (who hit me with his shoe) and then after breaking it another 3 or so times I let it fully heal over a couple years and then some dude was pressing me and my friends so I cracked him with what I thought was a clean punch but it then broke my 4th metacarpal lol. That was 3 or 4 years ago do you think if I aim right that I could punch again and not break my fucked up hand again?

    • @JingShenKuoshu

      I would start using palm heal strikes if your hand has been that damaged. Thanks for commenting

    ayy sir can i return boxing after boxer fracture ?

    • @JingShenKuoshu
      @JingShenKuoshu  2 года назад

      Returning to boxing after a boxers fracture may take several months. The thing you should really consider is how you got the fracture. Hitting incorrectly is usually the cause and if you don't correct your technique, you may re-injure your hand. I'll make a video to speak about the boxers fracture and correcting your punching mechanics.

      I am a wing rev fighter (form of mma but only to disarm or hurt the other person) The momentum of your knuckles and fingers gets channeled through the object in your palm to your palm. If you dont have anything in your palm, theres nothing in between the small open space, so you’d probably break yer fingers ig
