Excllent!! I was just ordering a 34mm for my oppy twin. Great minds think alike. I believe I just made friends with someone on Ebay who sells mower parts and actually has a 90 degree gearbox and is willing to make a deal instead of the $190 that he was asking. People are asking crazy high numbers for the gearboxes down here. Great video again Riley and Tony!!! Heck yea definitely powder coat that. I do not have a powder coat gun yet and I would probably use my mom''s oven...lol I just ordered those little switches that are on magnum's dash an hour ago before I even saw your video was out.... Wow that motor sounds great!!
i run a set up like that on my Tecumseh 490s. tejetted super fat. took a long time to dial in. the thump takes your breath away. everyone comments on how well they run. i call them the twin eaters . our stock briggs at a joke compared .
That's not a small block Chevy with a Holley carb! The shorted the intake between the carb and engine the better. Mikuni style carbs are vacuum signal sensitive.
Sorry been doing this over 50 yrs ,, port hole mute point, /// what you are doing is call is called a bolt an go,, // ps add port baffles in the intake throat , you will notice a big difference in power //, , also can add adjustable butterfly , in the throat , give better power adjustment of power an , sweeter idle,, an sound ,,
Runs great. We put carb off 200cc atv on kohlar 17hp runs so good. Any ideas how to get drive on a 1966 allis chamber b10 from a duromax 440cc? I don't have the electric start unfortunately
backfires are cool but dont make extra power. i think you are way to lean, . besides smell and sound one way to check is, with a 26mm carb. it should start no choke. except on the coldest days, . better read the spark plugs often till you get it dialed in. run fat, make torque not horsepower. therefore lots of gas, pulled through a small 26mm opening makes low end. axle snapping power
Yes lots of tuning to do! Want to see how it runs at the higher elevations where we ride before changing jets but I’m sure they will get a bit larger and eliminate the backfire
@@okomtony2477 thank for your reply Tony. you guys are way to cool. been raining here for a week. we are mowing mud hard. my Nephew say no one builds mowers as well as ok offroad . i agree with him.. Woo
I'd love to see a setup like that on a twin!
OKOM nick pick up a 3d printer…. May be looking into it…. Haha
Two 22mm carbs synced on an intek would be wicked
ive seen them bolted directly to the dylider , one each side

How far apart are the bolt holes on your home made flange?

Question if you remember. Do you know where you purchase those weld on intake flanges?

@@okoffroadmowers i really enjoy you videos , thank you so much
Definitly gotta powder that piece red haha
I know…. Hahaha will be doing that in the next couple weeks!
What's your jetting?
That craftsman is sick, I want to put larger front tires on my 6000, can you tell me the size on your ride
Usually 19-21” front tires
On 8” rim
7”wide
Could a snorkel with the filter in the air the pond mower
So bad ass boys. What was total rmp gain over the previous carb?
Tachometer showed 5200rpm max with new carb
Probably 1200-1500rpm gain!
Didn’t have a tachometer on before the carb swap so can’t be sure
@@okoffroadmowers That's crazy impressive! You all have quite the rigs. Love this channel.
Nice but the screw type hose clamp should not be used. A clip style would be the correct clamp. A screw type can vibrate loose.
Agreed!
Will be ordering some better clamps in the future
Hose clamps is what we had! Will work good for now!
What size are the front tires?
19-21”
Where did you get the carb please let me know
Can get them off Amazon
This was a spare one we had off a small quad
Have you guys ever considered modding a carb for propane?
We have thought about it just have had time to play around with the idea!
they have methanol conversion kits too
I have 13 over head value I’m ganna try that
I need that exhaust sound…what muffler is this?!
It’s a 2 stroke muffler off a smaller dirt bike that we gutted and repack ourselves!
@@okoffroadmowers awesome idea! Will be looking for something similar for my mower 👀👀
@FreddysCarsaAndChaos check out our more recent video of building “Scrappy’s” exhaust we show you exactly how we re build the mufflers we find!
@@okoffroadmowers awesome will definitely be watching is soon! Thank you
