I have numerous leaf dies as nature is one of my favorite kind of cards to make, especially in the fall. I am quite lucky to have a daughter who is a makeup artist so she gives me all of her used pallets. I often use them on my cards, but you’ve given me new ideas. I need to get busy!!! You are the very best and I so enjoy your “mutterings” to Siri along the way! Have a great week!
The compund leaf segments are called leaflets! I had to look it up! So now you have assisted me in my general knowledge of the world...in addition to all manner of things cardmaking 😁. I am very grateful. And I just enjoy your company so much. Thanks, Chrissie 💛. Briana
The ultimate in stretching our supplies - from face to craft room😍! I imagine blush would work too for those warm autumnal tones. I find it really interesting how much difference those little details that aren't really 'seen' make to a project. Have a lovely day with Mr Siri😜
Really beautiful. What a fun way to use up our old eye shadows! I can’t wait to try this. Thank you for sharing this wonderful idea. And I love the simple layout you use here for your card. Very beautiful results.
When I've recovered from a binge session of your videos, I shall find a few of my SSS leaves and try this technique. Whilst at first the addition of a little something extra, does not appear to jump out and shout "look at me!", when I return to the original, the difference is remarkable. Each small extra layer completes the texture and tone, lifting the finished product to the next level. Ingenious!
Another gorgeous card. I do love your conversations with Mr Siri. You certainly let him know who’s boss. Thank you for another beautiful project. - Dawn 🌅
You have such innovative ideas, and great tips for using your stash and everyday items to make simply beautiful cards. You have really inspired me- thank you! 😊
Well aren't you the clever one! Love your idea of eyeshadow. So perfect for your leaves. I will be asking my granddaughters to send their old stuff my way. Very pretty card!

(O.D. 8:26) Oh, Christie! If I had access to your spray box liner, I’d make copies of it on my printer to use as backgrounds for some cards!! It’s really quite gorgeous!!
Hello Christine, I am following your channel and I am so excited. Your technique videos are excellent and I can learn so much from you. If a new video comes from you, I have to watch it immediately. A very thank to you from Germany, your big fan Conny
Yes, the stamp is "Gorgeous Grunge" one of my favourites, I'll never miss. So useful! Thanks for the interesting video. Unfortunately I have no eyeshadows anywhere - I have to buy some! 😂
Hi. Eye-opening stuff for sure, I'm loving the look of your eyeshadow leaves and I wish I hadn't Palm-ed off my old makeup that I couldn't give a Fig about before Yew showed this trick. Still, the Alder I get, the more Ash'll learn and I think that's all I have Fir now!😂 Thanks for sharing this great video and have a super start to your week. 😊
Thanks for sharing another stunning card using eye shadow to decorate die cuts. I did much better using VersaMark than glue but I am still not happy with the gilding flakes most of the time. So, I will keep trying. Your videos are always wonderful and you are a great teacher full of inspiration!!!
Christine that’s even better lol. I wonder what you’ll come up with next with the eyeshadow. What a stunning card too. Forgot to say I like the new light and the mat. Very pleasing on the eye. Thanks as always for sharing.
Mr. Suri is making his presence know lately. LOL He gives me such a chuckle. Those leaves are gorgeous, the splatters make all the difference along with the eyeshadows and gilding wax at the end! and the card is gorgeous as well Christine! Those are pretty eye shadow colors. Hugs, Brenda
Unfortunately I only have eyeshadow in 50 shades of grey ! As I was a bit of a goth but definitely will be trying this cool technique . So glad it works with Versamark as don’t have either of the glues you used on previous video . I love leaves on male cards . Thanks Christine for your wonderful videos . Hope my hairspray still works after it being unused for several decades !

Thank you for this new idea, I too have lots of old eyeshadows so I look forward to trying it out. Incidentally, inspired by you, I bought some gilding wax as you made it look so easy. Turns out it’s not as easy you made it look - mine was a real hot mess!Definitely much more practice required!
Love the background grid … so fine and worth all the kerfuffle of getting the bits out! I’ve used a similar scraping technique with chalk based pastels (for skies when colouring) and they also work very well. X
I can never decide if I should use glue (and get it everywhere) or use the adhesive and poke all the little pieces out😂 It’s a true dilemma Beautiful card as always!!
thank you for the tip to scrape the eye shadow - SOOOO much more effective than brushing it on. Your way gives more colour depths and better colour shading too. by the way it makes also interesting results if you stamp a motive with versamark and then apply the eye shadow, also quite good for embossing
