Very pretty! Glad you had the “brain wave”! I think I’d keep a container of soapy water nearby and drop the embossing folder with gesso on it in there, as soon as I was finished running it through the embossing machine. That’s what’s recommended with stencils, as soon as you get embossing paste, paint, etc. on them. Then, it’s much easier to clean them later, and it’s not necessary to even wipe them off, as soon as you’ve used them. Thanks for sharing!

Wow! What a “brain wave”. I love that description and your execution of it far exceeded my expectations!! Although I should know by now that is a common occurrence with your cards…
My list of items to buy has grown “by leaps and bounds” today….😂. Seriously, you share such useful and versatile items.
I always learn something from you during each video but this time there were several very helpful things you shared…
I’d write forever sharing them all so I will tell you the one that has solved one of my biggest issues in creating cards.
I’m really too finicky when I do anything! It doesn’t seem to bother me if others don’t do it like I … I have had a problem with unfinished edges when I layer anything. I nearly jumped out my recliner when you shared the way you rolled the edges with your scoring board and tool!! It looks fantastic, Chrissie!!! I’m so very excited now!
I’ve sat down fiddling for hours trying to get something that I felt framed my panel with a finished look.
It’s strange because I have always dabbled with crafts and when I decided to paint wood figures I bought a scroll saw (didn’t even know the name of saw until I purchased it) and just began cutting and painting without any reservations.
I began painting shirts, painting with oils on canvas and framing them, painting watercolor pictures without being very critical of my work…plethora of things I’ve done in same spirit.
Cards have been a totally different experience. I’m beginning to believe it’s because I have an idea in my head but I’m unable to execute it to any reasonable satisfaction. From watching your videos (especially the longer ones where you explain your processes) I’ve began to learn certain techniques that most others take for granted or learned in classes.
I’m self taught with majority of anything related to arts/crafts. I’ve used books for assistance. What a difference your videos have made in helping me and in such short time.
Thank you! Thank you and again thank you!
I truly am excited after watching you today….
For all the joy and help you have so generously shared please accept my deepest gratitude.
    Nancy Rolfe
P.S. please remember the many people like me who you bless anytime you read a complaint about the noise of your glue or heat gun, etc.
It doesn’t bother me one bit!! I wish they could just focus on all you give…..
My goodness! I do laugh so often as I learn
It’s just been my favorite channel and I’ve always been better for having watched…
    I’m a talker 😂😂😂😂
    Sincerely I thank you

Another successful experiment with such a good idea, I’ve scooched!! over my 3D embossing folder with the older product you have and was very pleased with the effect but you have taken it up to the next level. So I will be giving it a go, thank you for this idea it’s lovely. Take care.

I have used regular gilding polishes too, but thought that these opal polishes needed a special treatment... I was pleased with the outcome. I don't think it has been done anywhere before as far as I know!😊💙💙💙

i don't have any embossing folders. i wonder if i could do this with an unmounted silicone stamp? Maybe too squishy, but I'll try spritzing the paper with water first.

All I ever say is 'try it! ' What's the worst that can happen ...and you may discover a new technique! 😉
