    One cautionary note...while doing the "floor slide" exercise recently my elbows didn't lay flat to the floor, so I relaxed the muscles to allow the elbows to drop and my shoulder dislocated. Yes, I had a previous dislocation so my shoulder was already compromised, but unless you have a healthy, sound shoulder to start with, the floor slide exercise puts the shoulder in a vulnerable position.

    What kind of exercises are bad for shoulders besides upright row? Are dumbbell overhead, Arnold, and cuban press bad?

    What if you can't get your arms to the floor for floor slides?

      You have to work on getting those internal rotators to relax.
