I honestly think Melanie is innocent. 1.Timothy only brings it up when Melanie is blowing up more, like how she is having her biggest tour she has ever had and now Timothy decides to say something. 2.I know Timothy said that the photos duplicated in her library that’s why she got the date of when the ‘incident’ happened wrong, but she never even tried to find the actual date or even talk about it. 3.She bought the game for Melanie I know that doesn’t mean consent but like why would she buy it for Melanie then. 4.She posted a picture of them playing the game with Melanie in handcuffs and blindfolded, some people said she bought it as a joke but why would she play it with Melanie if it was just a joke. 5.If she actually got r@ped wouldn’t she bring it to court instead of TikTok. 6.Melanie had also made multiple songs talking against r@pe and SA, also yes I know that just because she made and about being against r@pe and SA doesn’t mean she wouldn’t do something like that. okay im gonna respond to this: your first statement is completely wrong. melanie and timothy had a two day sleepover. they joking bought the game at a store, and melanie suggested they played it. timothy had a boyfriend at the time, so i assume they probably didnt end up playing it and just took photos in it. that was only the first day of the sleepover. the second night, melanie began begging timothy to have sex with her. timothy reports that melanie begged to touch timothy. timothy tried to reject this idea, saying “no, i have work in the morning. my boyfriend would be so mad.” etc. melanie then went and got timothy to smoke weed with her. after they got back in bed, melanie began touching timothy. she would touch timothys arm, saying “can i do this? can i just touch your arm?” timothy tried to de-escalate the situation, jokingly saying it tickled snd moving on. melanie began to touch other parts of timothy, then performing on her. timothy never said yes. timothy said no. 2 years later, during the #metoo movement, timothy shared her own story, stating what happened between her and melanie, but not fully mentioning her name. a few days later, she admitted that the person who raped her was melanie. melanies fans were angry, and shocked that melanie could do something like that. melanie ended up releasing a statement saying “she never said mo to the things we chose to do together” people found this weird, but ignored the red flag. later when timothy was doing sn interview with the daily mail, she messed up and gave the wrong day. melanies fans ignored melanies past statement, and looked into the day, finding out that they were in different states. after melanie fans reported this, melanie released a new statement. in this, she completely changed her story, claiming that timothy lied and nothing happened. melanies fans began to send hate to timothy, which melanie never made an attempt at stopping. she knew her fans were doxxing timothy, she didnt care. 7 years later, a small tiktoker snd youtuber, (i think the name is @AlienSunmarEden?) had been making videos, saying that timothy is innocent and melanie is a rapist. timothy saw these videos, and realised people still believed in her and decided to make a new statement. after timothys new statement, all of the melanie fans who were old enough to understand began looking more into it, discovering that timothy is innocent. all of melanies younger fans continued to send hate to timothy, saying she deserved it and shes a liar. they even started a profile picture cult where they make their pfps the piggyback or pacify her cover. its disgusting how they think this persons life is just a funny game.
Ok listen guys I know we're all fans of Melanie, but can we at least try to stay neutral? In the end 7 years ago although fans did destroy Melanie merch, the majority of people hated timothy. Idk why so many people keep saying it's odd that Timothy waited years to bring it up again. I would wait to bring it up again if I was doxxed, hacked, and ran off of the internet. Seeing your abuser doing well after nobody believed you doesn't feel very good. Posting a tiktok telling her story again to get more people to believe her and stop supporting Mel makes sense and is incredibly brave considering what happened when she first told her story. The majority of S/A survivors don't take legal action for various reasons so that isn't a reason not to believe Timothy. Timothy never actually changed her story. I'm not sure why so many Mel fans keep twisting that part. If you look at her original post and compare it to the tiktok it's the same story. The main reason that people are saying she is lying is because she doesn't know the day it happened. Melaine and Timothy confirmed that it happened so it doesn't matter what day it happened or if she remembered what day it was. People are saying Timothy is making it up "for attention" but who would want to get hacked,doxxed,get death threats, etc? If that's all that happened the first time then why would she say it a second time knowing that that's all that's going to happen if it were just "for attention?" Mel fans will say "she would never do that, she's so sweet" as if they know her. The truth is though, they don't know her or what she is capable of. She doesn't even know they exist. Also saying "innocent until proven guilty" in the case of S/A is really messed up. That's like if your friend told you they were raped and you believed the abuser over them because they didn't have proof they were raped. How is Timothy supposed to have proof? i have been listening to melanie for 5 years, and my ex best friend would almost shame me whenever i brought her up, because of the allegations. i’m completely neutral to the situation, but melanie and other artists were atleast a third of what helped me at the literal darkest time of my life.

I can answer some of these from my own experiences, not speaking on Tim honestly but as someone who’s been through this. Bringing it years later sometimes it takes a while to sink in, sometimes you want to talk about it because of how awful it is. To see the person who did it to you succeed must hurt. I was sa’d I could have taken it to court, I almost did. But one, it would have been hard to do much of anything. And two, the thought of seeing him again. Of speaking about my experiences in front of him, in front of strangers. I just couldn’t do it. It’s re traumatizing yourself when you put yourself in that situation. It took me years because I hid that for years, but not speaking abt until recently does not make it ‘not a big deal’ Most people who sa, are typically close to the victim. The thing is. The reason they bring it up years later is bc mainly mel fans have harassed them for years, they didn’t bring it up to drag mel down. But to criticize the fans that have harassed them. Every job Tim got they would get fired bc toxic mel fans would find out. Even then I feel like it has more substance bc of the horrible things they went through, and yet they still decided to speak abt it again. But that’s just me personally bc they would know that it would happen again. While I would personally believe Tim until proven otherwise (because I’d rather believe a potential liar then someone who could potentially be a rapist) I’d say if you believe mel personally, I would suggest keeping support ‘quiet’ not bc your opinion is invalid! But mainly bc most of the people who support Mel are saying the same things that those friends of guys that raped someone would say. Like ‘they would never do that! They’re a good person! Hiiii !!! I saw a video explaining this whole thing . So in that video , the dude said that this happend on july 25. 2015 . And in that video ,he said that Timothy put this thing up on some news, and uploaded a pic of Melanie in those handcuff thingies. Well, turns out that pic was taken on may 6th 2015, and also Melanie was going home to LA on that day. But its still important to not pick sides and start hating timothy until we find out what rlly happend.

okay im gonna respond to this: your first statement is completely wrong. melanie and timothy had a two day sleepover. they joking bought the game at a store, and melanie suggested they played it. timothy had a boyfriend at the time, so i assume they probably didnt end up playing it and just took photos in it. that was only the first day of the sleepover. the second night, melanie began begging timothy to have sex with her. timothy reports that melanie begged to touch timothy. timothy tried to reject this idea, saying “no, i have work in the morning. my boyfriend would be so mad.” etc. melanie then went and got timothy to smoke weed with her. after they got back in bed, melanie began touching timothy. she would touch timothys arm, saying “can i do this? can i just touch your arm?” timothy tried to de-escalate the situation, jokingly saying it tickled snd moving on. melanie began to touch other parts of timothy, then performing on her. timothy never said yes. timothy said no.
2 years later, during the #metoo movement, timothy shared her own story, stating what happened between her and melanie, but not fully mentioning her name.
a few days later, she admitted that the person who raped her was melanie.
melanies fans were angry, and shocked that melanie could do something like that.
melanie ended up releasing a statement saying “she never said mo to the things we chose to do together”

Idk why so many people keep saying it's odd that Timothy waited years to bring it up again. I would wait to bring it up again if I was doxxed, hacked, and ran off of the internet. Seeing your abuser doing well after nobody believed you doesn't feel very good. Posting a tiktok telling her story again to get more people to believe her and stop supporting Mel makes sense and is incredibly brave considering what happened when she first told her story. The majority of S/A survivors don't take legal action for various reasons so that isn't a reason not to believe Timothy. Timothy never actually changed her story. I'm not sure why so many Mel fans keep twisting that part. If you look at her original post and compare it to the tiktok it's the same story. The main reason that people are saying she is lying is because she doesn't know the day it happened. Melaine and Timothy confirmed that it happened so it doesn't matter what day it happened or if she remembered what day it was. People are saying Timothy is making it up "for attention" but who would want to get hacked,doxxed,get death threats, etc? If that's all that happened the first time then why would she say it a second time knowing that that's all that's going to happen if it were just "for attention?" Mel fans will say "she would never do that, she's so sweet" as if they know her. The truth is though, they don't know her or what she is capable of. She doesn't even know they exist. Also saying "innocent until proven guilty" in the case of S/A is really messed up. That's like if your friend told you they were raped and you believed the abuser over them because they didn't have proof they were raped. How is Timothy supposed to have proof? Neither people have proof so using the fact that Timothy doesn't have proof as a reason that she's lying doesn't make sense.

i honestly believe mel's innocent, because it does truly seem that all evidence points toward timothy lying, but i would just like to mention, it was timothy's idea to buy the game for a joke, and it was mel's idea to actually play the game. also, i do want to believe the supposed victim in any situation, because i know how tough it can be to speak out about things like this, but when it's between famous people i think what people forget is that we can't just believe the victim because if it is truly a lie, it just destroys the accused persons career. (btw i know taking cases to court can be challenging, but i think melanie and timothy should have worked this out behind the screens.)
I understand timothy buying the game isnt actual consent but she agreed to play the game and if the dice said something she didnt want to do or felt uncomfortable with, she shouldve spoken up instead of acting okay with it just to later accuse melanie of grape

i'm done supporting melanie, i've been in denial about the allegations for so long and trying to convince myself she was innocent but i can't keep lying to myself anymore 💀. even if timothy was lying (which i doubt at this point) melanie never addressed madeleine carina's claim and her "never said no" response is messed up in so many ways that i didn't realize when i was younger- plus she still hasn't responded to timothy's latest statement.
same. even if she's innocent, the ai meet and greets, going to Hawaii when residents asked her not to, apparently being a terrible person behind the scenes, having cheap merch for expensive prices, lying abt being in debt, and selling nfts. I'm not sure who's side to take, but I don't believe Melanie would do such a thing. Plus, what's the point of bringing it up 7 years later? Why not deal with it at the time? If she really was SAed, then why wasn't this taken to court? If you couldn't sort it out 7 years earlier, then clearly it might not be that big of a deal (not saying SA isnt big of a deal, SA *is* a big deal) and Melanie probably didn't SA her. And surely, when they were playing the game, Timothy must've "SAed" her too when it was Melanie's turn? I struggle to believe that Melanie would do such a thing as SA her FRIEND, but I'm still waiting for Melanie to speak up. But I will honestly cry if Melanie is a creep 😭
I can answer some of these from my own experiences, not speaking on Tim honestly but as someone who’s been through this. Bringing it years later sometimes it takes a while to sink in, sometimes you want to talk about it because of how awful it is. To see the person who did it to you succeed must hurt.
I was sa’d I could have taken it to court, I almost did. But one, it would have been hard to do much of anything. And two, the thought of seeing him again. Of speaking about my experiences in front of him, in front of strangers. I just couldn’t do it. It’s re traumatizing yourself when you put yourself in that situation. It took me years because I hid that for years, but not speaking abt until recently does not make it ‘not a big deal’
Most people who sa, are typically close to the victim. The thing is. The reason they bring it up years later is bc mainly mel fans have harassed them for years, they didn’t bring it up to drag mel down. But to criticize the fans that have harassed them. Every job Tim got they would get fired bc toxic mel fans would find out. Even then I feel like it has more substance bc of the horrible things they went through, and yet they still decided to speak abt it again. But that’s just me personally bc they would know that it would happen again.
While I would personally believe Tim until proven otherwise (because I’d rather believe a potential liar then someone who could potentially be a rapist) I’d say if you believe mel personally, I would suggest keeping support ‘quiet’ not bc your opinion is invalid! But mainly bc most of the people who support Mel are saying the same things that those friends of guys that raped someone would say. Like ‘they would never do that! They’re a good person! It would never happen!’ It’s kinda invalidity some victims that are watching this like “oh I would be believed if I come out abt it”

The last point was the most valid if your really dealing with something this serious it shouldn’t be dealt with on social media if not taken to court then at least with Mel personally or maybe some therapy or something she has done nothing to help herself and if your willing to talk about it on social media then instead of just crying in front of a camera you should handle the situation like an adult

Hiiii !!! I saw a video explaining this whole thing . So in that video , the dude said that this happend on july 25. 2015 . And in that video ,he said that Timothy put this thing up on some news, and uploaded a pic of Melanie in those handcuff thingies. Well, turns out that pic was taken on may 6th 2015, and also Melanie was going home to LA on that day. But its still important to not pick sides and start hating timothy until we find out what rlly happend.
