I just wanted to chop all of my hair off. But this is a total game changer!! I detangled my hair last night using oil & a light leave in conditioner. OMG!!!! I just tried this! And it worked! Too bad it took me 46 years to find you. GAME CHANGER. I just started it and I am almost done detangling my curly hair that it would take me usually an hour. And yes, you are right. I let it got this bad. I just moved and I didn’t have time to do my hair so basically a whole week of just a pony tail and out the door. So yes, I tried to do braids or keep it “Tame” but when busy, a pony tail it is which results in the biggest nod in the universe hehe. Thank you so much for the tip

My hair is almost exactly like yours. The detangling tip helps as I was just using olive oil and a detangler brush. It works for a bit but the next day it's a big poofy mess again. The fairy knots are what drive me the most bonkers, I always cut those out. You said something about a pillowcase please expand on that.

As a Somali Man with coiled hair that looks like a car spring suspension I got irritated when those “detangle brushes” didn’t work and even when wet even though my hair is soft. I followed the instructions on the detangle process and it worked. Not everybody has the same type of hair so please use caution and don’t hurt your scalp if detangling hurts. Had braids for 2 days just to help with hair growth because my hair always stopped at my shoulders. I then removed the braids & washed my hair out and now it’s easy to comb & I still have my same coiled look 👍🏽 black seed oil and water spray bottle and I only use shampoo & conditioner in the shower and don’t use any products after. I’m against using multiple products because I don’t have time and I don’t want my hair hard or turn white when product dries.
My daughter has always a problem with this. She’s 10 now and dreads brushing her hair. Not only is it always tangled but it seems her scalp is very sensitive. It always ends in tears. Have you ever relaxed your hair before? I have curly hair also but hers is far more extreme.
My hair always gets like this when I’m just unmotivated or in a bad spot and I get worried my long hair will get shorter 😭 I’m trying to make sure I wash it more often
Next time after oil detangling, go ahead and detangle with brush or comb - while dry. Cosmetologists suggest it prevents the sextreme breakage that occurrs after washing with the knots still in.
Mine started when I had surgery and I had a wound vac on for 5 months. My depression set in and now I have matted hair. I listened to a friend and used a preshampoo which made the situation worse. I’ve used deep conditioners, leave Ins, you name it. Nothing has worked. There’s so much misinformation about it. No hairstylist are well versed in matted hair except one lady in Florida. Unfortunately I live in Ohio. People say “just shave your head” or “ why would you let it get this bad well those people clearly don’t understand depression due to illness and life conditions from which I was powerless. Simple tasks became impossible. Don’t judge things you don’t understand. Obviously I’m stating this generally but it’s a shame that people shame you for things that are out of your control.
You’re helping a dad hear trying to figure out how to untangle a 4 year old daughter curly hair 😘. How many times per week do you have to treat the hair like that do to avoid tangled hair?
Mine must have gotten damaged (at the nape of my neck) I had so many knots, it wasn’t funny and after I removed them from my hair, after 3 years of wash and go’s, I’m going to get a relaxer. I’m done. I’m done with the expense, the wet head in the morning, the shrinkage. I had it trimmed professionally and occasionally, had it trimmed. When I started my curly journey, my hair was above my shoulders, now it’s almost to the middle of my back. I’m going to find a good stylist and get it relaxed…okay, maybe. Maybe I’ll consider braids. Trimmed and braids. But not tight ones.
I'm a guy and been growing my hair out for a few years now. My hair is crazy curly. I have no clue what is right and is wrong. I get crazy big knots but then again I don't pay much attention to it anyway. When I go to stores to ask questions no one seems to want to help me understand how to take care of it. I've never gotten it trimmed I've just grew it out. I just combed my hair out in the shower with conditioner and I lose so much hair all the time. I don't even know if I'm using the right comb. People love my hair as much as I do and I want to make it look even better. I don't want to accidentally ruin my hair. How do I know if my hair is good and healthy? How can I tell if I've damaged it or not? What can I do to repair damages? Hot to tell if I need a trim? How can I grow my hair even longer when I feel like it stopped growing? I have so many questions
U right don't let it get that bad yet I always do especially me being a stay at home mom to an autistic child I'm always putting my self care to the side. I'm soo exhausted to do anything with my self care
I use to have straight, thick hair. As I got older, I noticed a slight wave. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, I noticed my hair was getting substantially more cutler. I have been almost bedridden. It seems like I woke up with two large mats and I my hair is filled with ringlets. This all happened really quickly. I heard to get a silk pillowcase, I did I am not sure if I should try to cut out the mats, I am too embarrassed to go to a stylist for their help. I purchased one of the pink brushes you were using, it just bent backwards. I am 59 and a mess. I am leaving for the Mayo Clinic in a week and am freaking out. I have always paid for perms to get curls, now I have hair that is curlier than any perm and I don't know how to care for it. HELP,
Well, hi! I'm very glad I found your video, because I was pretty hopeless when it came to my hair, and your tips have helped me a lot! I'm a metalhead guy, and I've been growing my hair since 2018. I've been suffering so much, soecially lately, because I had no idea how to deal with my hair, given that it is VERY thick. I have one question... Do you recommend adding conditioner every time I shower? I have pretty dry hair, but, until now, I only added conditioner whenever I washed my head, after shampoo. Thank you beforehand!
So I just started watching your video and had to stop when you said to finger detangle. I did that last night and tried to wash my hair...it's even worse! All the strands are frizzy and still tangled. I wanted to cry when I went to work.☹

Where can I get that brush that seems to separate, I need that for my stepdaughter
This is perfect for my hair and it actually works I do recommend 😃👍
HELP,
You saved my life!

Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for these awesome tips we are hair twins lol
So I just started watching your video and had to stop when you said to finger detangle. I did that last night and tried to wash my hair...it's even worse! All the strands are frizzy and still tangled. I wanted to cry when I went to work.☹
Can you do a video on how to get clean skin because it’s going to get thousands of views 💖
coming soon!!!
