Excellent tutorial Hiro! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for this.
Family photos is what I would make mine display
I will try this out. Nice video.
Thanks! :)
Haha awesome! I love the quick hack! I'll try this on the project Photon when I get it up and running. Love the tutorials! Keep'm coming!
Sweet! And thanks! I have a small list of topics to cover while I work on new resin printer builds.
Never stop flexing your peak meme lord stash!
Hello Mr. Hiro first of all thank you for posting so many great videos , it really helps a lot . can you please please make a tutorial on how to customise GUI of printer using chituUIeditor ?? it wil be great help thanks .
Can this procedure work on the creality line?
tried this on both my printers. worked perfectly. Thank You! have you tried the animated logo yet?
Greetings! On the Anycubic Photon is there any way to change the Menu and icons to black and blue instead of white and blue? Ive tried chitu UI and cant figure it out! I cant see the white and blue menu that well!
first it's great video second do u have idea what is the link for Phrozen 4k xl 2022 and if get's update with a USB or needs ? also regarding the firmware if we need to change the heater temp to 40 dreg possible
Good morning Mr Hiro
I'm Giovanni I received two photon printers this morning,
both mount version V3.4.2 UI2.6
I tried to change the logo as per your tutorial
on a previous photon with firmware 4.2.18 I managed to change it.
On these two the generated logo file ChituEditor does not read
I noticed that on these the slices must be generated with pws extension while on the previous Photon.
My question is the following: Is it possible to change the logo on this version or I have to load the old firmware.
But does the old firmware 4.2.18 work on this card?
Pending your info
King Regards
Giovanni
I can't do that on Photon Mono. The printer cannot see the * .logo file
I love your videos! There is some problems I'm finding with the mars 3 that no or few people are talking about. I'd love to share with you in a DM some time and pick your brain. Some are mechanical and some are firmware related, it's actually pretty shocking how bad Elegoo is at documenting things for consumers.
Love it! Gotta try this on my photon. 😂
Awesome! You going to put memes or a logo on your bootup screen? ;)
I’ll put a picture of my cat. 😁
@@neil0104 Excellent my dude! Cats are awesome!
Anyone know what size to choose for the Creality LD-002R? I definitely need a Star Wars logo on there..
If I remember the spec sheet correctly 3.5"
@@HiroCreations yep did some digging. 3.5" 480x320 when I load it in the generator it's off center though so I'll have to figure that out
Nice!
Thanks! :)
Voids the warranty?? Should be a feature :'(
Right? That's how I feel about it too!
very cool! anyone know the screen for Epax X1?
thanks
3.5" screen I believe?
@@HiroCreations thanks!
I wonder if this works with the longer Orange 30?
Unlikely as Longer looks like they use a custom control board design that is neither Chitu or NanoDLP.
Lol amazing
Thanks!
Does it matter what ppi you save at? Tried at 72, and a chunk of the right side of the image disappears when I load it in the tool
Good question, I used 300ppi on mine. I have noticed issues with it disappearing if the px size does not match the screen it's loaded to.
I found that saving at high or highest in Photoshop's save settings caused a chunk to vanish, saved one at medium and most of it is visible. Happy bunny, thank you!
@@amandan9535 out of curiosity is the image you are trying to display a super high resolution photo? I noticed the Chitu boards have a resolution limit and need to be down sampled to lower resolutions to work properly.
No, it was only 96ppi to start with
@@amandan9535 huh that's strange. Time for me to do more testing with larger images, I rechecked my image sizes and they were 300dpi but only 700kb in size, so image size might be a factor.
interesting video, but please don't use screeching sounds like on 3:22 in your video for people who are running their 3D-printer in the background.
I was already beginning to think my z-screw was scraping and making that little screechy background noise.(I have my printer in a closet, and at a distance away from me, so wouldn't be to illogical for a faint screech to make me a little paranoid i guess lol)
How do you reverse it?
My Sonic Mini actually have animated logo.
It is possible to use a gif file?
It's not reversible unless you have the source file that the manufacturer loads, hence my warning to do this at your own risk.
You can create a custom animation with up to 8 frames (you load up to 8 separate images) in the same UI tool and it creates .bin file instead of .logo files for a single image boot screen.
Do you think the same steps are possible in the new Anycubic Mono, Anycubic Mono SE and Anycubic Mono X? Considering they cannot read .photon files at the moment
I'm waiting on my Mono to show up but from what I have heard from other folks who have opened up their printers internals and done tear downs, they are running newer generation Chituboards but with some tweaks to the firmware to lock the boards to specific file formats.
But the file formats is not related to the .logo and .bin files that are used by all chitu boards to update firmware or adjust boot screen branding. So I am about 90% sure that the same steps will work, pending me getting my Mono and testing it (probably will be doing another follow up video and tear down video).
@@HiroCreations huhuhu don't do what I did and accidentally load the Mono S UI.bin from the provided usb stick onto my Mono X while trying to update the firmware. Needless to say I'm now looking for a way to get the original UI.bin to load back in hoping I didn't brick my printer before my first print. Should have used the other USB stick provided with the Mono X, but I had the old stick around and had already scanned it for possible malware, etc. If anyone gets a hold of the stock Mono X UI.bin hit me up. Though I did submit a ticket with AnyCubic...
I have made a ui tool for the new non-chitubox printers from anycubic, works on my fauxton and should work if the display size / format didn't change in newer revisions

darn, no mac version?
It worked! ran it in parallels!
Woo glad it worked in paralells! Yeah they have not gotten back to me about a mac version.
@@HiroCreations thank you again, good clean simple tutorial. let us know if you want to test any Wham Bam products!
@@WhamBamSystems I definitely will be in touch downline as I grow the channel out more and am in a better position to provide value.
@@HiroCreations , I got the flexi plates for my LD-002R.
I wouldn't print without them.
