Great light. We couldn't really reach 1000 lumens, but still : 886 lumens from the Arkfeld isn't really bad. Even though we reviewed 460 flashlights, the Arkfeld still stands out! Great shape/features and even brightness.
Just received the the black and blue one. The blue accents are perfect. Im really liking the form factor on this thing. its a fantastic edc light

I really appreciate your outside tests with the flashlights. I need a tighter beam for work so this is a no go, but I COULD use that laser. 🤔

I used to love olight however today everything is going usb c nowadays. A rechargeable edc flashlight is worthless to me if I can't recharge it on the go because I can't charge it in the go because I don't have the right olight cable. Plus while magnetic charging is cool its much slower at charging the the industry standard of usb c. Plus magnetic charging is not as efficient show its actually bad fir the environment because it take more power ti charge your device.

Just ordered the od green version. Got a free little flashlight with it for Christmas sale... Not bad. I do maintenance on litho printing presses. The green dot will be helpful when talking to my coworkers. I'll be able to point stuff out without having to climb under the presses to point stuff out. I currently use a Streamlight MicroStream. It's great, tiny, and battery last a few days of heavy use. Just needs to be a bit brighter and has no laser pointer. I was actually gonna buy a MacroStream til I seen these.
Really neat flash light! Hope Nitecore does something alike as I dig the lcd run time and battery display so much

I even stopped watching their yt channel because
I didn't want to know what I was missing. I finally opened
their newest email and saw this light. I had to buy it. in
blue with the matching pen. I was also surprised with
the shipping. I ordered it at 8pm last night. I already
received a USPS update saying my order arrived in
Virginia on its way to Massachusetts. unusually quick.
they were never slow, but this seemed unusually fast.
How do you like it 10 months after? I'm currently thinking on whether I should go for laser or UV.

Is the laser good for daytime use also? I do roofing and want to have the laser pointer to point out stuff to homeowners. If not then is there an edc light/laser combo you’d recommend? Preferably close to this size
It’s not terrible in the day. But I’d go Arkfeld Pro with the better laser
I do believe that this would be a great edc. I'm torn on the laser though. But, will definitely have to check olight's sale. Have been looking for flash light.
The laser is useful for tradesman, showing a coworker, or customer exactly where the issue is

Go buy something from Fenix, Acebeam, Nitrcore, Sofirn, Convoy, Wurrkos. Just to name a few. Olights arnt the best and are over priced for what they are. Still using Osram P9 leds shows they only care about pure profit.
I really like the way the o light charge system is setup. I honestly cant hate on it. Super convenient. Im no flash light pro, and im sure there are plenty of good brands out there. But the build quality, charge system and customer service is top notch at o light.
How long does the battery last ?
Think I’ll wait till next month for Olight to release the Tactical Arkfeld!

yes and there customer service is amazing
Great brand, have a few and never been let down. Had a tail cap on one light stop working and they sent a new one out no problem.

I didn’t see any timer info in the user manual. I’ll have to look into this.

This proprietary charging cables is such a bug bummer. No arkfeld for me.
So funny how the everone talks about the green laser use for cats. So many more uses.

Your better to use a flashlight with a good hot spot for playing with cats. Lasers and eyes are not a good combination, if you care about your cat.

Is the magnet removable? It interferes with my compass.
No the magnet is built into the tail cap which also charges the light.

This thing is so cool, but I don’t like that it uses a proprietary charger. I’d rather be able to charge it with my work computer or in my car on the fly if I need to.
I thought that at first but now I have so many olights that the magnetic chargers are everywhere in my house.

I really like the design and tan color but built in batteries is a no no for me.
I’m usually in agreement there.
With larger lights I want a removable battery.
But I could go either way with smaller less powerful lights.
I’d still prefer a removable battery if I needed to choose
Built in battery is ok for me since this is not a one and only light. If it was for self defense, camping etc as a main light then built in or proprietary batteries suck

It depends where it’s placed in the UI.
I’m not a bud fan of strobe on EDC lights, but they’re a must in tactical lights.

I dont understand this light.....i mean if it had a low profile way to attach to pic rail in rifle or pistol.....then i could see the appeal of a edc that can move into action if ever needed. But a laser pointer......come on! Just give me two LEDs or something...... just dumb imo

All jokes aside, if you want a real torch. Fenix all day!! Even Nitecore is another great option.

I started with streamlight then moved on to Olight. Dropped Olight because I discovered Nitecore. Dropped Nitecore (besides P20i & MH25S) for a real torch, FENIX

Olight sends channels new gear for their sales each month. Basically I agree to this and show the new gear to let everyone know about it and their upcoming sale.
This being a new light all the info wasn’t available to me when I recorded this video. I had to release the video on the day of the sale.
I went above and beyond just showing the light but actually offered my opinions and beam shots to give my audience a better understanding of the Arkfeld. Not a full review.
But instead you ask why do a review if I don’t have all the info.

It’s a super bright laser at night. It’s visible during the day but obviously not as prominent. I’m not sure what you’d consider bright so I can’t really tell you one way or another. For me it’s fine
