- 👋 The ALL NEW 2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Ford Mustang is a BEAST!! Today I drive and review the new 2022 Shelby GT500 Ford Mustang with the Carbon Fiber Track Package!! This car is so fast and sounds amazing!! The exterior design is extremely bold looking from the front with an aggressive bumper and sharp body lines to the rear shape and the massive fixed wing! I love seeing all the functional aspects to the design. Air inlet for the air intake, two openings for the brake cooling ducts, and openings for all the radiators.
The Oxford White on the 2022 Shelby GT500 is the perfect color along with the orange stripe and I like all the black accents. The quad tip dual exhaust sounds awesome during some revs and accelerations!!
The interior had the optional Bang and Olefson audio system and Recaro seats with the rear seat delete. The black leather looked super nice with the white stitching and accents. And I love the use of black alcantara!
The new GT500 only has a Tremec 7 speed dual clutch transmission and you can see the Ford rotary dial shifter in the center. The DCT in the 2022 GT500 drove so smooth and delivered the power with precision. I really enjoyed the responsiveness to the paddles and it complemented the supercharged V8 very well!
Driving the new Shelby GT500 was a blast! You feel very connected to the road and even the handling was on point! The steering was precise and it really made the new GT500 feel like a proper sportscar with amazing handing abilities. The accelerations were awesome from the supercharged V8 and it sounded sick!🏎

I absolutely love this car, I just wish it didn’t have that silly spin button transmission selector.
It’s a cool muscle car for sure!! While I agree it’s an odd design, looks way nicer than a normal shifter would.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I’m gonna disagree with ya on this one. If it looks like something out of a minivan, I don’t want to be reminded of my kid transporter in my $100K sports car. I’m not sure it would be a deal breaker for me, but it’s close. I’m currently in a A10 CT4-V BW, but I’m itching to get back into a ZLE or the ‘23 M2 (deposits down for both, can only afford one) for the manual option. Thanks for the response man and gr8 review as always. Drive safe brother.

That's a pretty cool first sportscar! You could definitely buy it and learn how to drive it, just have to be responsible with that throttle! You could always buy a lower trim level GT and then upgrade from there if you think that's a good idea, but anyone can drive this, it's just how you decide to drive it :)
The carbon fiber track pack is nice but the base 2020 GT500 is more than enough car for me, that's what I am aiming to buy! 😎

@@BrosFOURRSpeed The base cars have all the performance as well. I plan to buy one to use as a daily most of the time. Those carbon fiber wheels might attract too much attention from thieves.
Save money and buy a base GT. Plenty of hp
@@rembo183 The Mustang GT is nice but I want to buy something that does 10s on a prepped quarter mile bone stock.
You do have a good point though, I can add a Whipple supercharger and get a built 10r80 and a E85 tune and do low 10s to high 9s on a cold night. The total money spent would still be way less than that of a 2020 GT500.

Haha yeah! It’s still a mustang but way nicer and performance oriented compared to other models.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed - after sitting in this model I felt like I was sitting in a fancy Ecoboost- it’s basically just like any Mustang inside. But the exterior is looks aggressive and ur getting 760 hp. bragging rights. Is it worth spending more than $100k? Maybe for Mustang lovers with lots of $$$$ money to spend!😊
@@rembo183I feel you. My Mach 1 was $65k. That was expensive enough. I’m not seeing a good reason to upgrade to the gt500 though. Twice the cost of the Mach. No thanks.

I would agree the GT500 is the ultimate mustang, but doesn’t come with a manual, so the GT350 is the ultimate enthusiast mustang for those that still want a manual. I’d buy a 350 over the GT500 because of that reason alone!

Hey man. Thinking about getting a Mach 1 or a Shelby GT500. I’m going to be driving it everyday. What do you recommend? I’m leaning more towards the Mach 1
If you want a manual option, you’d have to go with the Mach 1! Both are great just depends on what you want to spend and the transmission!
Just need a 6 speed stick.
You’d have to get the GT350 or Mach 1 for that!
Why? You’d just lose to the auto.
@@lockheedload And? Sure an auto is quicker in a straight line…but some people want more driver engagement. The auto is fun for people who want that and the manual is also fun for people who want that.
