Corey’s Vol 3 voice would have really worked for this. He was very damaged at the time & could sing no other way, but he sounded very “hoarse, raspy, scratchy” as a result. Which would’ve been great for a song like this. Scott was great. Could Do soft or heavy easily.
This is an amazing rendition, which is saying a lot because I love the original. Truthfully, I like Corey Taylor's voice over Myles Kennedy. As for Corey Taylor not having the right voice for Velvet Revolver (which let's be honest, I don't think that the guys are doing anything with it), he might have a "cleaner" voice than Scott Weiland, I don't agree with this. Weiland could smooth out (i.e STP's Sour Girl). Check out his Judas Priest medley that he did with Duff's band, Loaded, at the Golden God awards. He killed it.

Tienes muchísima razón amigo, pero Corey no ha demostrado a travez del tiempo que el puede tomar cualquier postura del rock que le tiran encima, y tal vez no este listo ahora pero si hubiera entrado a VR calvez le hubiera ido bienísimo y quizá nos hubiera enseñ que puede asumir el puesto. Saludos!
