I've been wondering how they'll cast Akasha. Because everyone's image of Akasha is Aaliyah. And the the book accurate Akasha is actually from Uruk in Sumer (Mesopotamia) - which is now known as Iraq. She was sent to Egypt to get married but wasn't Egyptian. So, I'm very curious if they'll go with the book origin or keep her a Black woman since the public only knows the character as Aaliyah. I guess we'll see.

I'm not sure. I think it's to keep the vibes live, to give the panel a chance to grab some water or do anything they need to really quickly behind the scenes, and to introduce her next segment. They're so well put together!
