Not the greatest win in Michigan history, but probably the worst loss in modern Ohio State history. Having your season ruined at the 11th hour by your biggest rival who is also absolute ASS this year. Yikes!
Michigan literally just won a national championship less than a year ago.... I understand beating OSU is huge, but bigger than WINNING THE WHOLE THING???
Historically, it is the biggest upset in the rivalry... because of the margins. However, you can't measure heart. I don't care about the season, beating the hot dog water state is good enough 💛💙💪💪
1-4 against Michigan and a horrible record against top 5 teams. Where is the CHEATING Buckeye fans? Was Stallions in the stands? Was Harbaugh on the sideline? NOPE. Just good ole fashion in the trenches football. Michigan is 7-5 and beat you WITHOUT 2 of their best players. The issue in Columbus is the COACH and the CULTURE he has produced

I called this. Indiana held Ohio State to 70 yards rushing if you remove the 2 long runs at the end of the game. The losses on the Oline are a huge issue. Ohio State fans said I didn't know football when I mentioned the concern.
This game reminded me of the Old and New Detroit Lions. The Old Lions (00s and 10s) spent a boatload of cash on their talent and lost 0-16 seasons. With multiple coaches. The new Lions (20s-Now) built a team from the ground up and cultivated a culture that is now 11-1 for the first time ever.
Michigan played without Will Johnson, Loveland, Edwards (for most of the game). Ohio State poured millions of dollars into their new roster and staff. But Michigan knows who they are and have a calm confidence vis a vis OSU. Ryan Day is terrified of Michigan, let's be honest. And he is obsessed with showing how "tough" his team is. So instead of exploiting his massive advantage in passing outside the numbers, he and old Chip Kelly kept trying to run straight into the one place Michigan was better -- the teeth of the D line. And they failed miserably, again. And viola, that "team up north" stole their lunch money four years in a row. Go Blue.
@@swatisquantum Respectfully agree to disagree. And really the only dimension that matters is Michigan completely owns Ryan Day and I am fine with that.
Even in this era of college superstars on pedestals (like Bryce), fooball continues to be a TEAM game. Its not simply what squad throws out more talented players. Its about who wants it. ITs about who plays well together and sticks to their tasks.... This game is a refreshing reminder that TEAMS win games NOT PLAYERS....
How about do us Wisconsin folks a favor by replacing Ryan Day with PJ Fleck? Fleck wins at Minn where NO FOOTBALL RESOURCES compared to Ohio State. No Wis is no Ohio St but we beat Minn FOURTEEN in a row until Fleck came to UoMinn. Now Wis can’t buy a victory against Minn. Maybe Fleck can reverse the trend against your bitter rival (Mich)? If he can be above .500 at Minn imagine what he could do with all your resources at Ohio St?
Ryan Day is not good when it counts because he has no heart. It's easy to beat up on teams with less talent, but teams that have that extra motivation always give him a problem because Day doesn't inspire a fire in his players.
The fight at the end was not really that big of a deal. Both teams did some shoving and they trash talked for 10 minutes but no one was out of control. Michigan tried to plant the flag on the O and the Buckeyes did not appreciate it but it was really not too bad by either team.
Never say anything bad about Davis Warren. That kid beat cancer, was a preferred walk-on, was QB3, and then he led the a 6-5 team that beat OSU. He never got the practice or playing time he deserved due to cancer in high school and being so far down in the starting line-up in college.
How can anyone not see this as a possibility, its a HUGE rivalry game so as they say you can throw the records out, with the way the Big Ten plays defense games are almost always close so these kind of upsets are easier.
Don’t care for either team. Went to the game as a fan of college football to check one off the bucket list and was I ever rewarded…but I still can’t believe what I witnessed
Well, that’s 20 million down the drain. Such a delicious outcome for those rabid Ohio State fans. I don’t think those chests are quite as pumped out now. May not even get a home game in the first round. 20 million!!! Wow, what a disaster!!! Na na na na, na na na na, coach Day-ay, good bye.
Ryan Day hasn't beaten Michigan since 1 B.C.* Calling him John Cooper 2.0 is an insult to John Cooper. There are no excuses left. No Connor Stallions to blame this time. Michigan lost their head coach, their D-coordinator and their 60 best players off last year's team to the NFL. Michigan hasn't has a quarterback all year. The game was in The Shoe. tOSU was about a 30-point favorite. Fire Ryan Day NOW. Not tomorrow, not after dinner, NOW!!! * = before Covid
It looks like the ONLY way that Ohio State will ever beat Michigan again, is if the Wolverines hire Ryan Day as their Offensive Coordinator, after Ohio State FIRES him.
