China is not a perfect country, but I have to say that It is the one of the few ones that actively improves and you can clearly see and feel that progress.

Americans lie so much throughout many years about China becoming a bad country and all this type latty stuff, man to be honest with you I wish I was from another country because I'm from the USA and I don't like it here anymore and I'm trying to see if I can escape this country to move to Southeast Asia, my preference is to move to either Vietnam or Thailand soon and so I'm doing my research about it all the time. Dating sucks / finding marriage sucks here, finding friends that has the same hobbies and skills as you are difficult, and one more thing that I really hate a lot is that people are too perfect they want to be politically correct all the time too, and so I'm trying to leave man 😓✈️

A city I worked in had regular, Monthly, inspections of food outlets and outside by the doorway there are small boards with each month on them. After an inspection the ratings are written onto the boards, (which are sealed under a frame so the only people that can access them are the inspectors), for that month with marks given out of five. I never saw one shop have a rating lower than five. Public toilets. When I worked in a small undeveloped city in Hubei province the users had to pay. My wife used one and the assistant asked her for money. She refused and we just walked off.
You are living in a first or second tier cities. Of cause you see civilized people. China has a population of 900mil people earning less than 2k rmb per month. Try living with them......
Recent yrs the crossbridge break down, but not because of the bridge's building issue.It's because the trucks should load 30T accuatually loads 100 ton. And that's very common during the last decades. Yes, many things in China is not like getting better and better (or worse), it could changes tremendously during decades.
