Both films were great. Daunting to step into Audrey Hepburn's shoes but Julia Ormond pulls it off in fine style. I admired the comedy without caricature and credit given to Mrs Laraby's character.
I liked the remake. Harrison Ford and Sydney pollack did a great job with it. And Julia ormond did a great job in the lead role. She was great in first knight, legends of the fall, and witches of east end.
Мне очень нравится этот фильм нравятся все актеры все сыграли великолепно не к чему придраться странно когда читала комментарии с критикой не поняла от злости что ли или от зависти критиковали хотя фильм чудесный и все и все в нем замечательно
So she’s 19 and he’s 69. I hate that. The original movie was even worse, Audrey Hepburn looked so young, and Humphrey Bogart was decrepit. Imagine senior woman with a 20 year old boy. This thankfully this practice stopped and hope that society awakens to the men who don’t want to grow up and are marrying 20 year old girls and stealing their youth.
I am with a man 30 years older. I met him at 19, married him at 21. We have 3 kids together, I'm now 42. I regret nothing, the only thing he has stolen is my heart. I went from a violent abusive father to this wonderful man who has never raised his voice at me, who loves me and understands me and is always there for me and our kids. I have always been attracted to older men, since I lacked paternal love, and he was divorced when we met. I have no regrets, so pls don't judge.
Resentful much? Now women who can abort, change their gender or sleep with as many people as they wish are mature enough to do all that by their own at 16 without parents consent but can decide who to marry when they are legal adults? GTFO, once two persons are functional adults they can do whatever they want and sick, noisy idiots judgement is not required or aceptes, and yes, that includes a 80 year woman marrying a 21 year kid, now go and try to tell Madonna and her new boyfriend that society must do something about it you idiot fascist.
She was perfect in this movie, and many others as well !

I read somewhere that Bogart didn’t like it either.

No witch craft I only believe in god.
I do too.
First
Ormond had impossible shoes to fill in this role. Too bad. I wasnt impressed wih Ford, either.
Kinear did a good job.
omigosh, how is that even possible. I cannot bring myself to even watch Audrey and I love that woman. but Ormond, for me?? she steals the whole show.
