Yes i have fallen for that one so many times, and also just keeping one item. In England, the weather is all over the place, so one coat is foolish if its soaking wet and you cannot get it dry for work in the morning, and one set of bedding errr no if your sick and you cannot wash the one sheet. Not enough is said, about using up what we have first then donating. I just think we all need to be more responsible with everything we buy and use and get rid off. I live on my own so i don,t need big dsihes and all the kitchen gadgets and if it can go to a family then great, i try to give things away to where i think they will use them, ie plastic bags to libraries and charity shops, old blankets and towels to vets and crayons and pencils to schools, i put some thought into it, but i am not using that knowledge to buy excessively so i can justify getting rid of things any more either, hope that makes sense.
I immidiatelly said to myself - I am pink minimalist. Love blue and mint green too. Pink is my happy color and no way I’m gonna wear just black or white.
I really appreciated this video because I was falling into that I had to change the way I dressed or I have to copy what everyone else has just to appear as a minimalist.
I’m a minimalist, I have very little. I live alone in a five bedroom house, two lounge rooms and I can’t move because all my house plants have grown very large. They are my babies. I know life would be better if I could have friends stay but I’m working on it albeit very slowly.
If you want color and collection but minimal, check out At Home with Madame Chic. She has kids and a spouse and COLOR. I think my way of doing it is similar. I keep what is of value and gift or responsibly dispose of what isn't. It's the only way. I like Joe Lee's philosophy of "be less shitty" lol
Greetings 👋 friend, I tried your Idea out about alone time hard as I live in Central London I did find somewhere and I would Choose to do it when there's a storm Goin but I did find peace ☮️ & Quiet & then d reality of usin Public transport again 😕 When I get my Berlingo and convert it minimalist way 2 a micro camper I can escape to d Countryside in it 4 me time!! I'll do more of that definitely!!
Separate, dependant, stationary … just a few of mine but I agree, sometimes you see it on the screen and it stands out. Loving the videos and was that an Ember mug I saw you drink coffee from? If you’re going to have only 1 cup then that’s the one. I’m a long way from minimal but I’m a heck of a long way from where I was as a maximalist a few years ago. The journey is as important as the destination.
I constantly do the ‘one last shop’ and feel like everything needs to be perfect before I begin. Glad I’m not the only one!

How do you make your text transitions and intro screens? They are awesome
The intro and outro I filmed myself, just rolled a pencil into frame and added text later. The transition textures were made for me by a friend 😊
