Today I go over three "laws" of minimalism I've given myself while I pursue a happier life.
Hey everyone. My name is Nick and here on my channel we talk about minimalism, and ways of living an intentional life. If you don't mind me talking your ear off once a week about this topics, and you liked this video, consider subscribing to the channel. See you next time Хобби
Great video. In the UK we have a culture of bragging about how many hours you work. There is an ingrained idea that work is virtuous. It's so unhealthy and since I've stopped being part of it I feel so much better.
Yea man I call off on certain days when I get anxiety at work it just makes me not focus on myself as much. Take time for yourselves because health is more important than money.
It helps to say no guilt free when you remember that the word "NO" is a complete sentences. You do not have to follow it up with an excuse, a reason, or justification. Once I learned that, "no" became a lot easier to use.
I LOVE this. I forgot to mention it, but I think it’s important to not explain yourself when you don’t have to. Great point Blaine ✌🏻
"A sense of respect for yourself". Good for you, man.
This is what I'm trying to master 🤗
Thanks for sharing your journey! I’m 41 and in the process of rewriting the “rules” for my life. Best wishes from Minnesota!
Best of luck!
Setting thoughtful boundaries is important 🙏
Hello Nicholas your pinpoint it exactly with 'this hustle culture'. That's so right and one comment I read below was great one; people bragging on # of hours they worked. That's not enriching one's life. It wreaks havoc on one's life, health, mindfulness
Agreed
As a woman, I don’t multitask.
I came across this video the day I finished the book "essentialism" and I am so thankful - your videos are very easy to follow and your intention behind them is clear. Good work 👍😁
Thank you so much! I appreciate the kind words 😄
You are the only RUclipsr who’s video I don’t miss. I have started letting go things which are no more needed to me. Thought of buying a smart watch. Then I thought why do I need that? 😊 My gshock is still alive & kicking. Your videos add lot of value to the lives of many who understand & practice minimalism. Keep inspiring us, Brother. Respect from India 🙂
Thank you so much my friend!
I'm glad that your channel is starting to grow. Keep uploading because we do love your content since day one.
I just retired earlier this month at 55 and can attribute minimalism and these 3 laws. You are spot on saying that we should focus on experiences, and not things, on our life's journey. Thank you for all of your great content.
Well said! Thanks so much, enjoy retirement!
Great video. I identified with so much of your experience. Thank you.
I love the intro
Sir please make a video on a day in a life of a minimalist
Planning on it!
@@NicholasGarofola Waiting for that
Mental clarity important... Thanks

Thanks for another video, Nicholas! Cheers from Brazil!
Glad you like them!
As always, Great Video!
Glad you enjoyed!
Really enjoying your content! I love the B roll (I think that's the right term, might be wrong) footage of the beach. I live in Orlando, and it makes me want to get back to the beach soon. :)
Beaches up north Florida are nicer anyways, make a trip!
love these videos!
Glad you like them!
Like the new music! Liked your previous intro one, but it’s always good to experiment
Hey Andrew! Yeah I’m exploring some new music, but I love the original song so much I always come back to it 😅
@@NicholasGarofola it’s a classic👌

Not a fan of the hustle culture, I work for a tech company and have seen so many of my coworkers got burned out and still trying to push further.... and the worst thing is I do the same sometimes.
I can relate to this
