I think my main concern with this is the quality of the plastic used, since sooo much of the board is the same type of clear plastic

clear plastic is not less durable it just look more fragile
@@koffing2073 clear plastic in my experience often is less durable though, as they prefer to use PET or similar instead of ABS due to PET's transparent nature. It's strong but not as strong.

Not sure, but I've had bad experiences with clear plastics yellowing with use over time. Don't think this keyboard is an exception.
yes but your keys on a normal board also get dirty you just cant see it as easily
@@disnoxis Keys getting dirty can be cleaned. Yellowing on clear plastic cannot be reverted. It's a chemical change as opposed to some dirt and grease on my keyboard that does have an effect to an extent, but is imperceptible to the human eye once cleaned, unlike the permanent yellowing effect
@pk5l ouip Even then, it'll yellow with time if it has any exposure to UV light alone. It'll just happen much slower than if one were to use it constantly. It does depend on the plastic, but the truth is that the majority of clear plastics will inevitably yellow. If they used it and didn't clean it after this presentation, by leaving the oils and grease on the keyboard, it'll accelerate the process too.

i think the issue with this kind of build is that transparent plastic stains easily and gives of a cheaper build vibe if you want to display this on your setup but as a personal use thing its reasonable

But regular keyboards become shiny after heavy use anyway so wear is an issue for both
@@defnotatroll exactly because that yellowing comes from them dirty hands and where is that going on a non clear one in the exact place so it makes no difference besides you cant see your nasty hands and Cheeto crumbs as easily on a non clear one

The keeb I am going to buy is truly full transparent as the bottom and sides are also transparent, unlike Lofree who gives the mirror finish metals and call it fully transparent. My upcoming keyboard's bottom part is most fascinating ever. You can see their brown PCB and it's circuitry and all stuff.

1, its an absolute fingerprint MAGNET
2, the font reminds me of a little tykes play laptop
3, the LEDS dont look very quality to me
