That is, in fact true for me. I’ve never died by a guards hand. I’ve only been hit by one about 3 times (on open water in boat) but due to how your character takes small amounts of damage when hitting a solid item at speed, I’ve been speeding across the island during scouting or robberies and smacked into some of the brush. It doesn’t help I often use the bike, so every small bump flings me across the island
Actually for anyone wondering, you don't have to cancel the heist, when you go into the basement cameras don't scroll all the way on to the main target, scrool so you can just barely see what it is, but you got to make sure it doesn't count it, and if it's something you don't want just find a new session *here’s an update for everybody* this comment was originally made two years ago, so the method to do this has changed, I don’t know if it works on PlayStation because I play on Xbox, but the way to do this now, you scroll, barely onto the target so that you can see what it is, but make sure Pavel doesn’t say what it is, if it’s something you don’t like, go into your settings, turn your Wi-Fi off, and then back on, then, just redo the mission.

@@afoegaming1148 small tip: launch a vip mission from ceo, it actually blocks any payment when u destroy personal vehicles. unless you want to wait for an event like flying under bridges or business battles, u should do this.
Here is a summary of useful tips I found in this comment section: - Wait 5 seconds after opening the office safe to make 80k - if there is a guard scoping the communication tower, the voltage box is higher on the tower. If there is no guard, the box is on the ground - You can find a new session to get a different primary target instead of restarting the heist if you peak through the cameras
The range of the safe money is 50k-90k I've got 90k my self before and 56k before as well but my friend got 50k so that's how I know the range. Also I tried the finding the new session tip before in a bunch of videos and they never really changed anything about ym target got the tequilas 3 times in a row but I'm completely satisfied with it sense hard mode literally has it at 990,900k, so there's no point in testing your luck for bearer bonds or the pink diamond sense 1 they are both extremely rare and 2 your better off finishing that tequila bottle sense you have a higher chance to get those rare pink diamond and maybe bearer bonds
@@givemeaname5993 my broskie when you're scoping the main Target you can't count any other secondary targets because then you won't be able to get a different one and when you're scoping the main target you have to make sure it doesn't count it, you have to peek on the camera just barely so that you can see what it is
Took 7 years to come out with a solo heist, yet they lock you out of a LOT of money without a group, constantly have Pavel bother you to bring friends, and include that snarky “potential take” screen at the end just to rub it in. Seriously, why does rockstar hate solo players so much?

@@whiteboymagic Is it though? It seems like its equal, since you have to make cuts. Also I have experienced, that it's sometimes more profitable to do the casino heist with 2 in total, even if you don't get all the loot, you will end up with a larger payout, since you don't have to split it up further. And for Cayo it seems you have to take every single secondary target if you play with 4 players, in order to get the same amount of cash as if you play solo
That's why it's good to do the setup were you destroy their body armor, you can kill them with the chopper by shooting the body or a headshot without alerting the gaurds. If you're trying to take out 2 gaurds use the chopper/AK to shoot one in the head and then the other in the body so he doesn't have time to shoot back and alert the gaurds if you miss the 2nd headshot. Destroying their body armor really helps stealth mode.

@@thenoobgamer95 Destroying their armor prevents that because u can kill them without doing the headshots. Also I think a glitch or poor internet service is why that happens because it only seems to happen when playing with multiple people. Also when they shoot back it doesn't always set the alarm off.

For real, I'm not the best pilot, takes more skill than driving well. Just practice I guess, but yeah the sparrow is flimsy, just a tad😁 I bought the savage after I bought the akula cos wanted that explosive cannon. Lucky I got them both and didnt sell akula to get savage. The akula is a dream to fly, so agile. The savage is a bit of a shit box to fly in comparison to akula. Need to fly that thing every day I think to get better with hitting ground targets with explosive cannon. Others make it look easy but it takes mad skill to do this efficiently.
The Sparrow is a MUST have vehicle to grind this heist. By far my new favorite helicopter. It’s fast, quick, agile, climbs altitude quick, and it doesn’t have a cool down on the missiles.
It’s only useful bc the idiot who designed the sub forgot to leave room for the SEA SPARROW which has bobbers on it, oh and lands in the water. Sometimes I’m wondering what the designers at rockstar are actually doing bc it’s certainly not using their brains
@@melaniemason3284 it's stupid that the sparrow at the sub can't land on water. It's like the only dlc where you'll end up being in the water alot. I've been playing this game for a long time and my lung capacity hasn't gone past half, now it's full just because of all the swimming I did this dlc.
For the kosatka sonar mission, I fast travel to the location via the sub, then submerge right next to the sub and turn on autopilot. Your sub will stay right there and you all you have to do is swim to the other sub, get in and grab the sonar and then swim back to your sub
Yess i was literally unable to finish the set up, because i was getting instantly murdered by the boats and the chopper, but with this trick it became one of the easiest preps
Yeah I worked this out pretty early on. Also you can kill the Merryweather chopper and 3 boats with the subs missiles or torpedos, so if you do get killed in the enemy sub, you respawn and don't have to worry about those pesky MW people 😁

Another tip for the gather intel mission is when you get to the communication tower is if there is a guard at the bottom, the signal box is at the top and if there isn't a guard the signal box is at the bottom
today i got all of the solo ones empty and only one cash stash in the buildings to the middle, went all the way to the airport hangar with a boat to fill my bags. Tequila alone was not gonna be worth it
@@zombieepx1933 I scope them on the run already, just look at them and if not coke then go to the next and if I get one coke I just try finding one weed and only if not full already maybe a bit of cash. I am pretty sure it's not worth scoping for the time it takes
There’s a faster and easier route for the scope out missions. You ramp off of an embankment to the left of the roadblock tower. Then you zoot forward, cross the road, and bike up to the tower. It’s probably only 20 seconds faster, but it’s really reliable and also time is money.

One more tip for people trying to do stealth that I haven't really seen yet is to choose the conspirator loadout and after exiting the compound, plant two or three sticky bombs on el rubios chopper to the left of the exit. Leave them there till he starts hunting for you then detonate them once he is in the air. This should force him to turn around and land and you will not see the heli again
You can just swim off the island it doesn't take that long. 30 seconds if youre lucky 1 minute if youre not. And lets be real the elite is a joke anyways I usually complete the heist in around 10 min with 2 ppl
@@KittyHawkzzz I'm talking about solo mainly. The fastest way to get a full bag is to grab the loot at the main dock. This is also one of the areas that el Rubio searches.
I was selling cargo in a bad sport lobby one time and one guy sat across the map on his oppressor and waited all the way till I got close to my destination to sell the cargo and he went off radar and came all the way over and blew my cargo up. I kept stopping to check the map to see if he moved and he disappear, but the whole time he was off radar. He tricked me.
To speed up the setup process even quicker. Queue up a random job search with your phone and then immediately open up phone then to jobs and close the phone to cancel the job searches. This allows you to complete any heist setup while using Job Warping (the phone trick prevents the job blips from disappearing on the map during freeroam missions)
Just a quick tip that I found by myself. When you’re at safe first open the safe and then wait for about 5 or 6 seconds. This way you’ll always get between 90 to 100 k

Even worse when it glitches the fly in marker so it’s just resetting the game till it fixes itself, honestly needs a patch ASAP but it’ll probs be a week before that happens
I absolutely HATE when that mission glitches out and it doesn't let me go to Cayo Perico despite flying there. They need to add a visible corona that we fly into so that this doesn't happen.

Another quick tip for people on scoping mission: Cut a quick left into the water and you'll find plenty of patrolling boats which are not guards, you can easily jack a boat and drive around beside the tower...saves a lot of time
I remember playing this heist for the first time with my friend and he was trying to hack the finger print and I was exploring the office and then found the safe on accident lol
Tip: after you found the secondary target on the scope out part, get caught by the guards and they’ll send you right back to the entrance. This is better than driving back to the the plane.
I mean I never play solo so I never scope the main dock. What I do is just jump off the tower. Sans parachute. Also is there a way to steal El Rubios chopper. I really wanna know but I’m too scared of failing the heist to test it
Yeah, not worth that extra time and effort just for a chance for it being the same or something different. If the panther statue is available, then maybe but speedrunning the heist over and over is usually more effective. Edit: I've had tequilla 3 times in a row after my Madrazo files so I know what its like
To speed up mission after hacking at the tower, just jump off tower and die. It'll respawn you right next to where you started which for me is usually airport. Then boom, the plane is right there and no walkin back. Little tip might help if not know already
When I do cayo scope solo I just check the basement and nothing else, theirs no point in wasting time looking for secondary targets unless you're playing with multiple people

I still remember the first time of completing Cayo heist. It took me over 6 hours from setups to finale, and I even left the island without a full loot bag. 😅
I started parking my oppressor on the submarine. I usually park it in front of the front entrance, but I have to be quick to start a set up mission cause it slowly moves and eventually falls.
You have to be careful and place it juuust in the middle. I do it with stolen Froggers and Mavericks, but took a lot of practice, and even so, sometimes they just slowly slip and sink...
They dont get alerted for no reason, and also, they dont survive a headshot. Only at the start when you come out of the drainage pipe, its laggy, you should ask your friend if you both see the minimap, then wait a couple secs, and you are fine.
Me and the bois got somebody's unfinished heist, when we entered through the drainage pipe the guards were already alerted and the primary target was legit outside the compound just laying on the ground smh
This heist changed my life. Last week I was level 30 and had 1.6 million dollars now I’m level 50 and have an opressor mk 2, terrobyte and a sparrow. It’s the easiest heist ever I swear.
@@zonavv No you aren’t, from my own experience it’s way easier to do it solo and sneaky cause with more players it’s harder to communicate and when it’s just your self you know exactly what to do and how to do it
When I do the setups I just put the sub in Vespucci beach. I do all 3 equipment setups from the beach and then the 1 weapon setup. The last setup is approach vehicle in which I fast travel and drive the sub closer to turn it in faster. Then after that it’s on to the heist finale!
That's me. Infuriating. And follow helicopter setup over and over. Both of those are about 85 percent of the time. It's not worth adding on the extra 20+ minutes for the extra hundred or so thousand either.
IMPORTANT FOR STEALTH: If you do the armor disruption, if you miss a target, it's easier to fix if they have no armor, so harder for them to sound alarm if you are slightly off
If you fly into the water on a motorcycle (you can do this right next to the mansion) you only have to swim a little bit and the game automaticly finishes the heist. This way you only have to steal the primary target and escape the house and there will be no more complications. I've always used this bug and it's very convenient if you're not going for secondary targets. You will complete the heist under 15 minutes every time without having to worry about the guards catching you.
To save time on the scope out instead of going to the communications tower on foot vehicle if u beforehand join a ceo and as you get in the plane to the island call ur assistant and hover over the helicopter pickup, the cutscene to the island will play ss normal but when u spawn in you will still be able to request the pick up. This saves a good bit of time

I remember when it was released. The first day, everyone was thinking how hard the scope out mission is and was frustrated that we will have to do it every time we enter. Lol scoping out is super easy. I can do it in under 10 mins easily without getting detected. Not even a week I think and we have found metas.
Yes! Going south with the Velum is longer than being on the island. I'm doing the heist with a friend, so I just have to scope what's inside the compound with the cameras. Then I jump off the communications tower so I return to the airstrip. Being on Cayo Perico takes about 4-5 minutes for me lmao.
I get caught at that bottleneck with the guard tower and camera and lots of vehicles driving through sometimes, but other than that one spot it's really easy. Just be patient and quiet through there and you can pretty much sprint everywhere else
As a solo player my first purchase was the sparrow, makes it so much faster for future heists and I use it all the time for everything else. Basically became my daily driver

From what i've learned in the past cayo perico heists, if you have a lot of extra targets then the main target is probably something cheap, if you have less extra targets, the main target is probably good
For anyone who's considering buying the sparrow, do note that it will actually be faster if you already have an oppressor. Once you are done with the scope out mission and the approach vehicle, just fast travel the kosatka to the vespucci beach and then drive it to the coast until it is beached on the sand. Then just become a MC president and you can request your oppressor on the sand itself, since all the weapon loadout and equipment missions are in los santos itself, just use your oppressor to get to the mission area, collect the equipment, fly back on top of the kosatka near the conning tower door and the mission is done. It is 100x more efficient than even the sparrow.

The optional heist prep only "pretend" to be completed. You'll only get one shot at them, so of you switch Lobbys they'll count as failed. But since you switched the lobbys there wont be Dialog of any kind and the planningscreen isnt telling you that neither. The problem is, that obviously those failed optionals have no effect on the finale at all.
explaining the disruption glitch: we just have one try to destroy the most we can of the [armor/weapons/air support] so when we find a new session it will be "completed", but it will count you have destroyed none of the things, so it actually doesn't matter if you do this glitch or just don't do this prep
That is a great scoping route with the bike. If you are starting out and avoiding guards are a bit a of a pain you can go to the east side of the island where the party was, get into a scuba gear and just dive to the main dock. Zero guards, zero chance to get spotted and quite fast, from there you can get a vehicle and drive up to the tower. Once you get familiar with the island you will do the bike anyway :))
I take the time when scouting to poison the water tower. Takes less time then chasing weapon supplies and getting armour preps. If I get detected the guards are too sick to fight back, lol.
Disruption missions can only be started once. If you fail or leave session it is marked as done, but disruption is not taking place and enemies in heist are equipped.
@Club Pingu 2 hours? That's quite long, i took 50 mins solo to do the heist preps that is needed. Follow the tips given in the video, you will finish them within an hour
For the submarine vehicle setup. I drive the Ksadka right up next to the Merrywheater sub and even can use the military sub to pull right up next to the entry point.
HELPFUL TIP: update: when leaving is grab the bike right outside the front door and go towards el rubs chopper kinda and straight off that edge/tip of the island. Swim out like 30 yards, when the escape message goes away just for like 15 secs. Friends have to run.. sry. easy get away all the same!! Edit 2: the boats spawn better with the longfin approach. Idk why. If you choose to leave by boat drive about where I said. That rounded bend about at the gray line of the ocean mini map where it gets darker somehow triggers the escape.
When you choose Kosatka as ur infil vehicle, diving will automatically give you a wet suit which makes u fast underwater. What I do is just jump and swim away, takes about a min and a half

Actually you can just jump into the water and swim out into the ocean and that ends the heist. I'm surprised no one has mention it. You don't have to do any escape options or jack a boat. Just swim out into the ocean.
You actually don't have to scope out any secondary targets. for example you can go to the main docks after you get the primary target and the coke will be there for you to grab anyway. same for the painting in the office
@@Matt___B I think paintings are worth it. It's random, sometimes I get 160k for one but once I got 260k for one. It ensure you fill up the bag and don't have to go the third loot spawn at main dock. But I rarely get paintings lol. Wait how do you get gold as solo?
I've also noticed that scoping out secondary targets isn't always necessary, as the ones on the main dock (and presumably the others) will still spawn and are still lootable without having been "discovered" during the scope out portion
@@charl3s_76 Yeah, they're still randomized though, so you might get unlucky once or twice like I have by not having any loot spawn there (or not enough to completely fill your bag) but that's only happened a couple times out of maybe 20 runs so far
With the Security Checkpoint close behind the beach party, I recently tried jumping over the hills on the left side with a bike. Works decently well too and you don't have to be so careful with the guard (only the tower in range)
Another tip if you get the gate keys is to gather the money from the safe in the office and the picture (if there is one) then enter through the basement instead of doing the 3 fingerprint scanner. Saves a little bit of time if you struggle with finger print cloning
Best way to kill a High level player is to drive into any shop on a Motorbike' Kill the assistant then place a proximity mine at back of door.. then keep sending Him/her messages telling them to go back to Roblox along with placing Bounty/Mugger/Mercenary's' I got a level 1250 twice last night and they and their 32 KD rage quit ..... P.S inside the strip club is an Awesome battleground lol (Any bike=Any Shop)
I noticed something if you start the weapon setup mission near merryweather hq you can get a much easier mission which doesn't involves following a helicopter just go to a office kill the enemies and take the weapon and get back
The way I do it is I jump that big rock on the motorcycle instead of going to the chain-link fence door when I'm scoping it out it's much easier. Also scoping out secondary targets at the airstrip is worth doing especially if you use a longfin to grab the secondary targets first then go to the grate and then jump off the back side of the mountain for a quick swim away when your done...I've been getting Elite challenges one after another doing it like this solo
As of 2022 the heist prep glitch of finding a new session still works. Just realized that this glitch even existed on accident yesterday while playing lol!
Tip: When you leave the compound via the main gates, to your left there should be a helicopter. To make sure this helicopter doesn’t come after you, make sure you have the conspirator weapon load out. Now place 2 c4 on the helicopter, then leave that area. Once the helicopter has started moving, wait until it’s at hovering level, then detonate the bombs. The helicopter should just turn around and leave because it has taken too much damage. This will not alert any guards and will make exiting much easier.
To give perspective of how little 2k to fast travel(to save like 10 minutes) is, it costs the same amount to blow up 1 broomstick boi than it costs to teleport via kosatka 5 times

Yes, and weaponize it ASAP. Buzzard style rockets with no down time. The plasma cutter and the cutting torch missions are super easy. Simple get within a good distance and keep spamming rockets whenever it locks onto a npc.
Great video, sad that I already figured most of these tips out through time and trial-and-error, but for someone who hasn't yet and/or is new to Cayo Perico, A+. A few things worth noting, however: 1. The sparrow IS excellent indeed but has drawbacks compared to the buzzard such as no machine guns (I find it better to fight off npc choppers with them than the rockets), much more frail and it's handling is worse. That said it is faster, rockets have no delay and you can spawn it next to you no matter what your status is (CEO, associate, MCP, prospect, or none of the above). 2. There is another way past the first checkpoint on the island that also requires the manchez scout; it's less risky and more fun. Rather than pass through the checkpoint, go offroad to the east of the watch tower, wait for the guard to look west(ish) and hit the cliffside at speed! If you're fast enough it'll vault you on top of it. 3. Finally, my experience has put weed as more valuable than cash and takes less time to fill your bag because about 2.5 weed stashes will fill your bag whereas it takes 4 cash stashes to fill it. When going for the elite challenge, it helps to fill it fast. But the video's right that cocaine is the best because you only need 2 stashes to fill your bag. Oh, and the elite challenge rewards $100k if done in hard mode.
For the scope out, you can get trough the checkpoint by riding the bike up the hill on the left when the guard isn't looking. This metod is much easier, as long as you don't do something stupid
You can easily swim from about where the party beach is to the cliff and run on the edge between the ocean and the cliff almost all the way to the main dock. Then you scope out the secondary targets first and then go to the communications tower. Belive me, it's faster and easyer to get past the guards this way

Here is a summary of useful tips I found in this comment section:
- Wait 5 seconds after opening the office safe to make 80k
- if there is a guard scoping the communication tower, the voltage box is higher on the tower. If there is no guard, the box is on the ground
- You can find a new session to get a different primary target instead of restarting the heist if you peak through the cameras
The range of the safe money is 50k-90k I've got 90k my self before and 56k before as well but my friend got 50k so that's how I know the range.
Also I tried the finding the new session tip before in a bunch of videos and they never really changed anything about ym target got the tequilas 3 times in a row but I'm completely satisfied with it sense hard mode literally has it at 990,900k, so there's no point in testing your luck for bearer bonds or the pink diamond sense 1 they are both extremely rare and 2 your better off finishing that tequila bottle sense you have a higher chance to get those rare pink diamond and maybe bearer bonds

Another tip: If there's no guard at the communications tower, the box is on the ground floor. If there is a guard, it's somewhere above.

Took 7 years to come out with a solo heist, yet they lock you out of a LOT of money without a group, constantly have Pavel bother you to bring friends, and include that snarky “potential take” screen at the end just to rub it in. Seriously, why does rockstar hate solo players so much?

Also I have experienced, that it's sometimes more profitable to do the casino heist with 2 in total, even if you don't get all the loot, you will end up with a larger payout, since you don't have to split it up further.
And for Cayo it seems you have to take every single secondary target if you play with 4 players, in order to get the same amount of cash as if you play solo

One thing i hate about this heist is when you shoot a guard on the head and he fires then the alarm triggers.

That's why it's good to do the setup were you destroy their body armor, you can kill them with the chopper by shooting the body or a headshot without alerting the gaurds. If you're trying to take out 2 gaurds use the chopper/AK to shoot one in the head and then the other in the body so he doesn't have time to shoot back and alert the gaurds if you miss the 2nd headshot. Destroying their body armor really helps stealth mode.

Also I think a glitch or poor internet service is why that happens because it only seems to happen when playing with multiple people. Also when they shoot back it doesn't always set the alarm off.

I bought the savage after I bought the akula cos wanted that explosive cannon. Lucky I got them both and didnt sell akula to get savage. The akula is a dream to fly, so agile. The savage is a bit of a shit box to fly in comparison to akula. Need to fly that thing every day I think to get better with hitting ground targets with explosive cannon. Others make it look easy but it takes mad skill to do this efficiently.
The Sparrow is a MUST have vehicle to grind this heist. By far my new favorite helicopter. It’s fast, quick, agile, climbs altitude quick, and it doesn’t have a cool down on the missiles.

For the kosatka sonar mission, I fast travel to the location via the sub, then submerge right next to the sub and turn on autopilot. Your sub will stay right there and you all you have to do is swim to the other sub, get in and grab the sonar and then swim back to your sub

Yeah I worked this out pretty early on. Also you can kill the Merryweather chopper and 3 boats with the subs missiles or torpedos, so if you do get killed in the enemy sub, you respawn and don't have to worry about those pesky MW people 😁

There’s a faster and easier route for the scope out missions. You ramp off of an embankment to the left of the roadblock tower. Then you zoot forward, cross the road, and bike up to the tower. It’s probably only 20 seconds faster, but it’s really reliable and also time is money.

One more tip for people trying to do stealth that I haven't really seen yet is to choose the conspirator loadout and after exiting the compound, plant two or three sticky bombs on el rubios chopper to the left of the exit. Leave them there till he starts hunting for you then detonate them once he is in the air. This should force him to turn around and land and you will not see the heli again

I was selling cargo in a bad sport lobby one time and one guy sat across the map on his oppressor and waited all the way till I got close to my destination to sell the cargo and he went off radar and came all the way over and blew my cargo up. I kept stopping to check the map to see if he moved and he disappear, but the whole time he was off radar. He tricked me.

To speed up the setup process even quicker. Queue up a random job search with your phone and then immediately open up phone then to jobs and close the phone to cancel the job searches.
This allows you to complete any heist setup while using Job Warping (the phone trick prevents the job blips from disappearing on the map during freeroam missions)

Just a quick tip that I found by myself. When you’re at safe first open the safe and then wait for about 5 or 6 seconds. This way you’ll always get between 90 to 100 k

RIP if you manage to get tequila again. Hella worth it if you get Ruby Diamond. It's kinda gambling to see if it was actually worth it.
Even worse when it glitches the fly in marker so it’s just resetting the game till it fixes itself, honestly needs a patch ASAP but it’ll probs be a week before that happens
I absolutely HATE when that mission glitches out and it doesn't let me go to Cayo Perico despite flying there. They need to add a visible corona that we fly into so that this doesn't happen.

Another quick tip for people on scoping mission: Cut a quick left into the water and you'll find plenty of patrolling boats which are not guards, you can easily jack a boat and drive around beside the tower...saves a lot of time
I remember playing this heist for the first time with my friend and he was trying to hack the finger print and I was exploring the office and then found the safe on accident lol
Tip: after you found the secondary target on the scope out part, get caught by the guards and they’ll send you right back to the entrance. This is better than driving back to the the plane.

There's no way I'm canceling the heist when I get tequila. Such a pain to go back and walk to the damn tower and walk back and go to sub and redo it.
Yeah, not worth that extra time and effort just for a chance for it being the same or something different. If the panther statue is available, then maybe but speedrunning the heist over and over is usually more effective.
Edit: I've had tequilla 3 times in a row after my Madrazo files so I know what its like
To speed up mission after hacking at the tower, just jump off tower and die. It'll respawn you right next to where you started which for me is usually airport. Then boom, the plane is right there and no walkin back. Little tip might help if not know already

When I do cayo scope solo I just check the basement and nothing else, theirs no point in wasting time looking for secondary targets unless you're playing with multiple people
You could still get a few hundred thousand at least which adds up in time.

I still remember the first time of completing Cayo heist. It took me over 6 hours from setups to finale, and I even left the island without a full loot bag. 😅
I started parking my oppressor on the submarine. I usually park it in front of the front entrance, but I have to be quick to start a set up mission cause it slowly moves and eventually falls.
You have to be careful and place it juuust in the middle. I do it with stolen Froggers and Mavericks, but took a lot of practice, and even so, sometimes they just slowly slip and sink...

This heist changed my life. Last week I was level 30 and had 1.6 million dollars now I’m level 50 and have an opressor mk 2, terrobyte and a sparrow. It’s the easiest heist ever I swear.

When I do the setups I just put the sub in Vespucci beach. I do all 3 equipment setups from the beach and then the 1 weapon setup. The last setup is approach vehicle in which I fast travel and drive the sub closer to turn it in faster. Then after that it’s on to the heist finale!

That's me. Infuriating. And follow helicopter setup over and over. Both of those are about 85 percent of the time. It's not worth adding on the extra 20+ minutes for the extra hundred or so thousand either.

IMPORTANT FOR STEALTH:
If you do the armor disruption, if you miss a target, it's easier to fix if they have no armor, so harder for them to sound alarm if you are slightly off
If you fly into the water on a motorcycle (you can do this right next to the mansion) you only have to swim a little bit and the game automaticly finishes the heist. This way you only have to steal the primary target and escape the house and there will be no more complications. I've always used this bug and it's very convenient if you're not going for secondary targets. You will complete the heist under 15 minutes every time without having to worry about the guards catching you.
To save time on the scope out instead of going to the communications tower on foot vehicle if u beforehand join a ceo and as you get in the plane to the island call ur assistant and hover over the helicopter pickup, the cutscene to the island will play ss normal but when u spawn in you will still be able to request the pick up. This saves a good bit of time

I remember when it was released. The first day, everyone was thinking how hard the scope out mission is and was frustrated that we will have to do it every time we enter. Lol scoping out is super easy. I can do it in under 10 mins easily without getting detected. Not even a week I think and we have found metas.
Yes! Going south with the Velum is longer than being on the island. I'm doing the heist with a friend, so I just have to scope what's inside the compound with the cameras. Then I jump off the communications tower so I return to the airstrip. Being on Cayo Perico takes about 4-5 minutes for me lmao.

I get caught at that bottleneck with the guard tower and camera and lots of vehicles driving through sometimes, but other than that one spot it's really easy. Just be patient and quiet through there and you can pretty much sprint everywhere else
As a solo player my first purchase was the sparrow, makes it so much faster for future heists and I use it all the time for everything else. Basically became my daily driver

From what i've learned in the past cayo perico heists, if you have a lot of extra targets then the main target is probably something cheap, if you have less extra targets, the main target is probably good
For anyone who's considering buying the sparrow, do note that it will actually be faster if you already have an oppressor. Once you are done with the scope out mission and the approach vehicle, just fast travel the kosatka to the vespucci beach and then drive it to the coast until it is beached on the sand. Then just become a MC president and you can request your oppressor on the sand itself, since all the weapon loadout and equipment missions are in los santos itself, just use your oppressor to get to the mission area, collect the equipment, fly back on top of the kosatka near the conning tower door and the mission is done. It is 100x more efficient than even the sparrow.
the opressor costs 8 million now compared to the sparrowslike 2 million

The optional heist prep only "pretend" to be completed. You'll only get one shot at them, so of you switch Lobbys they'll count as failed. But since you switched the lobbys there wont be Dialog of any kind and the planningscreen isnt telling you that neither. The problem is, that obviously those failed optionals have no effect on the finale at all.
explaining the disruption glitch: we just have one try to destroy the most we can of the [armor/weapons/air support] so when we find a new session it will be "completed", but it will count you have destroyed none of the things, so it actually doesn't matter if you do this glitch or just don't do this prep

That is a great scoping route with the bike. If you are starting out and avoiding guards are a bit a of a pain you can go to the east side of the island where the party was, get into a scuba gear and just dive to the main dock.
Zero guards, zero chance to get spotted and quite fast, from there you can get a vehicle and drive up to the tower. Once you get familiar with the island you will do the bike anyway :))
I take the time when scouting to poison the water tower. Takes less time then chasing weapon supplies and getting armour preps. If I get detected the guards are too sick to fight back, lol.
Disruption missions can only be started once. If you fail or leave session it is marked as done, but disruption is not taking place and enemies in heist are equipped.

@Club Pingu 2 hours? That's quite long, i took 50 mins solo to do the heist preps that is needed. Follow the tips given in the video, you will finish them within an hour
For the submarine vehicle setup. I drive the Ksadka right up next to the Merrywheater sub and even can use the military sub to pull right up next to the entry point.
HELPFUL TIP: update: when leaving is grab the bike right outside the front door and go towards el rubs chopper kinda and straight off that edge/tip of the island. Swim out like 30 yards, when the escape message goes away just for like 15 secs. Friends have to run.. sry. easy get away all the same!!
Edit 2: the boats spawn better with the longfin approach. Idk why. If you choose to leave by boat drive about where I said. That rounded bend about at the gray line of the ocean mini map where it gets darker somehow triggers the escape.
When you choose Kosatka as ur infil vehicle, diving will automatically give you a wet suit which makes u fast underwater. What I do is just jump and swim away, takes about a min and a half

@@beanie3526 ultimately either works. If you use the longfin or something other than the sub the boats spawn every time. Figured that out. Just Posted a video of the whole thing if you're curious. Its in 2x speed to get things moving

Actually you can just jump into the water and swim out into the ocean and that ends the heist. I'm surprised no one has mention it. You don't have to do any escape options or jack a boat. Just swim out into the ocean.

You actually don't have to scope out any secondary targets. for example you can go to the main docks after you get the primary target and the coke will be there for you to grab anyway. same for the painting in the office
same for the gold (and no, you dont need 2 people to grab it)
BTW paintings aint worth it, gold is the way to go.
@@Matt___B I think paintings are worth it. It's random, sometimes I get 160k for one but once I got 260k for one. It ensure you fill up the bag and don't have to go the third loot spawn at main dock. But I rarely get paintings lol. Wait how do you get gold as solo?

I've also noticed that scoping out secondary targets isn't always necessary, as the ones on the main dock (and presumably the others) will still spawn and are still lootable without having been "discovered" during the scope out portion

@@charl3s_76 Yeah, they're still randomized though, so you might get unlucky once or twice like I have by not having any loot spawn there (or not enough to completely fill your bag) but that's only happened a couple times out of maybe 20 runs so far
Scouting out saves you time in final heist so you don’t spend time running to empty lockups.
With the Security Checkpoint close behind the beach party, I recently tried jumping over the hills on the left side with a bike. Works decently well too and you don't have to be so careful with the guard (only the tower in range)
Another tip if you get the gate keys is to gather the money from the safe in the office and the picture (if there is one) then enter through the basement instead of doing the 3 fingerprint scanner. Saves a little bit of time if you struggle with finger print cloning
If you have the oppressor MK2 you can just land on the front of the Kosatka and enter through the front, you don't really need the sparrow

Best way to kill a High level player is to drive into any shop on a Motorbike' Kill the assistant then place a proximity mine at back of door.. then keep sending Him/her messages telling them to go back to Roblox along with placing Bounty/Mugger/Mercenary's' I got a level 1250 twice last night and they and their 32 KD rage quit ..... P.S inside the strip club is an Awesome battleground lol (Any bike=Any Shop)

I noticed something if you start the weapon setup mission near merryweather hq you can get a much easier mission which doesn't involves following a helicopter just go to a office kill the enemies and take the weapon and get back

The way I do it is I jump that big rock on the motorcycle instead of going to the chain-link fence door when I'm scoping it out it's much easier.
Also scoping out secondary targets at the airstrip is worth doing especially if you use a longfin to grab the secondary targets first then go to the grate and then jump off the back side of the mountain for a quick swim away when your done...I've been getting Elite challenges one after another doing it like this solo
As of 2022 the heist prep glitch of finding a new session still works. Just realized that this glitch even existed on accident yesterday while playing lol!

So this update also introduced brain cells!? Amazing!!
Tip: When you leave the compound via the main gates, to your left there should be a helicopter. To make sure this helicopter doesn’t come after you, make sure you have the conspirator weapon load out. Now place 2 c4 on the helicopter, then leave that area. Once the helicopter has started moving, wait until it’s at hovering level, then detonate the bombs. The helicopter should just turn around and leave because it has taken too much damage. This will not alert any guards and will make exiting much easier.
To give perspective of how little 2k to fast travel(to save like 10 minutes) is, it costs the same amount to blow up 1 broomstick boi than it costs to teleport via kosatka 5 times

Yes, and weaponize it ASAP. Buzzard style rockets with no down time. The plasma cutter and the cutting torch missions are super easy. Simple get within a good distance and keep spamming rockets whenever it locks onto a npc.

Great video, sad that I already figured most of these tips out through time and trial-and-error, but for someone who hasn't yet and/or is new to Cayo Perico, A+. A few things worth noting, however:
1. The sparrow IS excellent indeed but has drawbacks compared to the buzzard such as no machine guns (I find it better to fight off npc choppers with them than the rockets), much more frail and it's handling is worse. That said it is faster, rockets have no delay and you can spawn it next to you no matter what your status is (CEO, associate, MCP, prospect, or none of the above).
2. There is another way past the first checkpoint on the island that also requires the manchez scout; it's less risky and more fun. Rather than pass through the checkpoint, go offroad to the east of the watch tower, wait for the guard to look west(ish) and hit the cliffside at speed! If you're fast enough it'll vault you on top of it.
3. Finally, my experience has put weed as more valuable than cash and takes less time to fill your bag because about 2.5 weed stashes will fill your bag whereas it takes 4 cash stashes to fill it. When going for the elite challenge, it helps to fill it fast. But the video's right that cocaine is the best because you only need 2 stashes to fill your bag.
Oh, and the elite challenge rewards $100k if done in hard mode.
For the scope out, you can get trough the checkpoint by riding the bike up the hill on the left when the guard isn't looking. This metod is much easier, as long as you don't do something stupid
You can easily swim from about where the party beach is to the cliff and run on the edge between the ocean and the cliff almost all the way to the main dock. Then you scope out the secondary targets first and then go to the communications tower. Belive me, it's faster and easyer to get past the guards this way
