My ex husband threatened to kill me if I ever left.. told me this while choking me. I did leave and had a restraining order which did nothing. He stalked me. He harassed my family. I moved across the country and never looked back. I knew I would never be safe living in the same city as him. If he ever caught me alone he would of killed me.
