I love this game. It was actually the first Squaresoft RPG I ever played because I bought this and Final Fantasy I on the same day but mom and I were about to take a trip to visit her family so I put off starting Final Fantasy I until I got back.
Much-appreciated review for a great game! I don't really get how you thought that it was easier than the first one though. The first game to me felt like a breeze, while the last few dungeons and bosses here were almost painful.
Thanks for watching! It might be because I used a guide to get the best monster (Sylph, and then Titania for the last boss). Party setup seems to matter a lot
I remember my first playthrough of this game when I was in grade school over 24 years ago…my team was a human M, mutant M, robot, monster. I got to Odin with 1 STONED robot & a blind mutant, no potions/elixirs, and my human/monster were garbage. I never got through Odin since my team always died to him, and I didn’t want to walk back through the palace again to return to the overworld since my team couldn’t win & I didn’t want to keep running away. I eventually restarted a game with 2 humans & 2 mutants & was able to beat the game eventually. Keep in mind that I didn’t know how the game worked back then & had 2 brothers who would also want to play at times. Frustrating game, but satisfying when played properly and when you have enough time to put into it.
0:44 one helluva drug lol 1:08 out the window. This is not a tragedy, but a comedy as joker would say. Old menus to put up (good god 8 pieces of equipment per each of 5 characters in the third one with no optimize is an ordeal) with but collection added fast forward though it got woke and edited some stuff lol.
@@rpg_haven too much for RUclips too lol kept deleting my bananas emoji, though I do find it funny. I feel I just need to detect if I can be in the mood to play some of these games to be entertained even if dumb stuff happens.

Awesome, thanks for watching!
You're hitting all the games from my childhood, which is a delight. Excellent content that is thorough and well-written. 👍👍
Amazing coverage!

Hell yeah. It's not an easy game for sure. The satisfaction is worth it tho

Yep, that's why I didn't buy Collection of SaGa. What a shame, since Collection of Mana was fine, as far as I know.

Hilariously the gameboy had more FF games than almost any other system in America
Not exactly. The Legend games aren't really Final Fantasy games. Just called that here for marketing
