  • the first time i explored this house was in early mach of 2019. it was in much better shape then. now, it seems every person with a camera has been here, and the decay has also gotten MUCH worse.
This house was custom built between 1978 and 1980. it is approx 8000 sq ft, and has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. it was owned by a man and a woman, one of which was a top doctor in the city. the other a was a dentist.
it was last listed for sale in 2014, but failed to sell. it has sat completely abandoned and unwanted ever since. the fact a home like this can just sit here and rot away is unbelievable. i imagine it will be demolished one day, as it seems too far gone to save, that being said i have seen worse be saved before.

I've watched several of your videos. I have to say I'm impressed that someone as young as you is so interested in old architecture. I'm also very impressed that you leave everything the way you found it. Almost all of the houses you've shown I would restore back to original glory. Keep up the good work!

The staircase, brick arch ways and fireplace in that small half circle room as well as the fountain were my favorites of this house. Was it just me or did anyone else notice that the front hallway seamed to have a defined straight waterline at about 3 to 4 feet high like the house had flooded.

Ethan please do us a favor, when you go into places with mold like that wear a respirator, don't turn on fans, they circulate the mold. Maybe get some through away plastic gloves, keep your hands clean and keeps your finger prints out of places. I don't mean to nag or anything, I just want you healthy so you can keep posting more explores.

After watching your update on this once magnificent beauty I just can’t believe it’s current state!! I am glad I watched this 1, as I got to see areas that you couldn’t possibly film in the update. It is even more majestic & so unique than I ever imagined. From the gorgeous main staircase, to the fireplaces, to the awesome showcase cubbies in the dining room, to the glass walls & the winding staircase (we installed 1 of those in our previous house) to the pool from the 2nd floor & on & on. This house is an absolute dream in it’s originality & uniqueness which is exactly my style❤️💕 I don’t know the reason for it’s abandonment, but how sad😔

Every time you look in a mirror and you don’t say, “what is up you guys” I just want you to know I hit my husband. Remember that when you walk past a mirror and don’t even ask us what is up. My husband cowers in fear every time we watch your videos and a mirror pops up but, most of the time we let out a big sigh of relief as you ask us the most important question of all time...”what is up you guys”. My husbands name is Jordan maybe in one video you can let him know that this what is up you guys is for him, he will forever be grateful.

That fountain may have been of Poseidon. The god of the sea is Poseidon in ancient Greek mythology and is also considered to be the god of earthquakes and horses. He is considered to be the god that invented horses. He is known as “Neptune” in Roman mythology. I think this because of the horses represented in the fountain. Just a thought.
