  • For centuries the only country in Europe that drank chocolate was Spain. Chocolate originated in Central America and today's recipe was and is the traditional way of preparing chocolate a la taza in Spain. Its taste is authentic chocolate without the influence of milk or cream, which was introduced in France in the 17th century. This recipe is gluten and lactose free.
This video is the first part of "Chocolate a la taza con Churros."
The recipe for traditional churros will be released next week.

Thanks for your comment, actually I haven't invented anything, this is how chocolate was eaten for over two hundred years in Spain. Although its consumption was quite limited to the aristocracy. When consumption spread to the rest of Europe is when they started to use milk.

La primera vez que veo un video donde hacen un verdadero chocolate a la española. Como lo hacían mis abuelas. Lo más importante eran los tres golpes del agua caliente sobre el chocolate antes de hervirlo. Enhorabuena!!👏👏👏👏
