Saw them on their Kick tour in Milwaukee. It was notable that the whole band were striking "rock star" poses throughout the show. They did know how to play to their audience, in all aspects.

I worked at the Palace in St Kilda and they played this live in the 80’s before they were really well known. Blew my mind and the roof off the place. What a performer. Will never forget it!

Then tragedy struck and millions of fans were left dumbstruck. It has never really been clear what happened but to me, it didn't matter. It was like someone had just kicked me in the groin. Michael was an incredible artist who offstage was such a shy and unassuming guy anybody could identify with. As a band, they were like a fine tuned engine. Sadly, without Michael they disappeared. Tried a comeback about 15 years ago with JD Fortune but the demands of touring burned him out. He was a formidable replacement and they could have returned but it just wasn't meant to be. But, you are right. They made their mark and we can still enjoy them here. We all miss you Michael.

You could just feel how great this band was feeling at this early stage of their career. They are probably hitting America for the 1st time and realizing that they are killing it. Hutchence is a phenomenal frontman, right up there with the era's best at the time. Great song. Sometimes songs just pop into my head, and that's what happened here, I hadn't heard it in decades and my mental phonograph (I'm an old guy) dropped this disc down and the needle started playing it in my head. Luckily RUclips had a cool live version.

I believe this is from a concert show on ABC that used to be on late Friday nights. It was the first time I had ever seen INXS, and I was blown away by their stage presence. I was a fan from that point forward. Finally got to see them live on their '91 Suicide Blonde Tour. Truly one of the most amazing concerts I've seen. They just owned it!

Small intimate venue seating 5000 with great acoustics. Many shows were filmed there for TV because it was the perfect site. It used to be one of those grand old movie theaters with gold leaf decor and chandeliers. World premieres were featured there with movie stars in attendance.

This is what I was looking for, INXS from this tour. I first saw them within a couple weeks of this show. Today I'm much, much older, and I'm sitting in the midst of a pandemic in this crappy year of 2020, but for a couple of minutes I am transported to a day when Michael is 23, I'm 21, and all is right with the world.

Still one of my all-time favorite INXS songs and one of their best, in my opinion, and they were a FANTASTIC band to see live! Saw them in concert for my first & only time at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center (pre-STRAZ Center) in September of 1997. Just two short months later, Michael tragically took his own life while still on that same tour and I sure was thankful to have gotten to that show and seen them. His picture could be used in the dictionary for the definition of "front man". He was just so at-home on stage and he got down into the crowd completely unattended by Security while singing, going back & forth through rows of seats (not just up & down the isles), high-fiving everyone along the way. It's in my top 10 of favorite concerts attended still to this day, and I've been to a few. Cheers guys and THANKS for all the great music!

Michael was always a great showman, but this whole band could play. Jon Farriss on Drums was fantastic.

This is what I was looking for, INXS from this tour. I first saw them within a couple weeks of this show. Today I'm much, much older, and I'm sitting in the midst of a pandemic in this crappy year of 2020, but for a couple of minutes I am transported to a day when Michael is 23, I'm 21, and all is right with the world.
This one was and is a masterpiece 1️⃣✌️🎉

Still one of my all-time favorite INXS songs and one of their best, in my opinion, and they were a FANTASTIC band to see live! Saw them in concert for my first & only time at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center (pre-STRAZ Center) in September of 1997. Just two short months later, Michael tragically took his own life while still on that same tour and I sure was thankful to have gotten to that show and seen them. His picture could be used in the dictionary for the definition of "front man". He was just so at-home on stage and he got down into the crowd completely unattended by Security while singing, going back & forth through rows of seats (not just up & down the isles), high-fiving everyone along the way. It's in my top 10 of favorite concerts attended still to this day, and I've been to a few. Cheers guys and THANKS for all the great music!
