It is so refreshing to see how a chaos champion ACTUALLY reaches his goal and ascends. Like, I can't remember when that happened the last time XD Congrats to Khul
I guess a new deamon prince Khorgus is coming soon.
There was a leak a while ago for "Khul ascended" or something like that.
@@johnevans5706 Yeah it was also heavily theorised . But since 99% are wrong ( just see how people are speculating about the next primarch returning) i was being sceptical.
Harbinger of decay is undisputed winner of new miniatures released during dawnbringers
Ushoran about to throw hands
I'm a Order guy through and through, but i was SO HAPPY that Khul finally finished his path to glory! Feels like a Milestone and I love it !!
The answer is just Ushoran. That model is just hands down one of the best I've seen. Though I will admit, as a FEC player I'm intimidated to even buy it, it HAS to be painted beautifully on table or not at all
Also it was rumored the Khorgos khul is getting a new model cslled "Khorgos Ascended" early this year.
MY BOY KHORGUS IS BACK!!!
I love that Khorgos got his moment of clarity and realized that Khorne doesn't care from whence the blood flows... also means that he doesn't care about his feud with Vandus. And anyway, when he'll be an immortal demon lord, that feud won't even matter anymore.
My poor boy Gavriel…
I read somewhere that Vandus Hammerhand got put into the ruination chamber and that Emberguard was destroyed after the Vermindoom
I want a lore video on the two cats.....
I like the entire refresh of the Ironjawz and Flesh Eaters.
Great! Can't wait for your next one too. I agree, great story, but why not just check in with the crusades at least before closing? Dawnbringer Chronicles XV basically gave away the daemon prince ascension storyline too. Thanks for covering these, Doug 👏
Man, I hope we get a new demon prince khul model soon.
Also would like lore video on the cats.
haha I'll plan one out for the cats XD
The Skaven are THE coolest! Love to see them winning
Khul my boy you did it!
AT LAST! DAEMONHOOD!
Yaaaaasssssss demon prince accession!!!
As a Fyreslayer player, my hope is that the destruction caused by the Skavendoom uncovered a nest of magmadroth subspecies. Fyreslayer cavalry of horse-sized magmadroths would be so cool!
troggoth king trugg is my fave but userin close second
I think it's interesting that Khorne would give him this specific objective at this specific time, presumably knowing that Khul will be faced with the choice of fulfilling his objective or trying to satisfy his vendetta. It doesn't feel like Khorne's usual behaviour - and I think there's potentially three reasons for that:
Firstly, it might be that he wants a daemon prince who is more strategic-minded, which would make for an interesting spin since most Khorne daemons tend to be hyper-aggressive; having a Khorne daemon whose main weapon is his intellect would be fascinating.
Secondly, it could simply be a question of motivation; had Khul slain Vandus then what motivation would drive the newly appointed daemon prince to continue slaughtering in Khorne's name?
Thirdly, and perhaps most insidiously, Khorne might be making a play for Vandus himself. By making Vandus (who is growing increasingly mad) more and more desperate to kill Khul, he could at least draw power from that and possibly even tempt Vandus with the means/opportunity to face his rival. Khorne is, after all, a Chaos god, and like all Chaos gods desires to corrupt the hearts of mortals. You could argue that it would be odd for Khorne to throw his newly annointed daemon prince under the bus like that, but daemons cannot truly die and at the end of the day Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows; only that it does.
Another option is that the mortals might not survive the incoming eruption of Skavendoom. An ascended Khul would, as a Daemon never truly dies. This could also be a plot to save one of Khorne's best champions.
Graunos was also a strategic minded Khornate daemon prince from hysh (he appears in one short story and as a main antigonist in Neferata: Dominion of Bones
@@marekshatat fair, although I was thinking more in terms of modelled characters.
So that is how they in continuity squat much of the SCE model line...
Awesome video series! I'd love to hear your rewrite and version of the Dawnbringer story line. That sounds super interesting.
Someone mentioned, if you zoom in on the last map on WarCom, it shows that Emberguard is in ruins. Did you see that? So one of the two new Dawnbringer cities might fall after all...
Where was Vedra during all this fighting? I imagined that she would be willing and able to take down either Khul or Vandus if necessary. Or was the Hammerhall tellyporta only for SCE?
So stoked to hear your thoughts in the next video 🙌🏻
I ASCEND 😡👹
The ongoing mystery, who is the Lightning Man?
My bet is that it’s a Lord Terminos, the people in charge of mercy killing corrupted Stormcast
Or Sigmar’s monstrous form.
all good ideas! could also just be a manifestation of his madness. like, there is no true Lightning Man, just this hallucination that Vandus calls that. I hope it gets explained!! I like the idea of a "Boogeyman Eternal"
I only ever remember Gavriel Sureheart for being the one character model Kitetsu always made fun of. Anyone remember Kitetsu?
❤
What happened with Kragnos and his fight with the whole order council? Did I miss something in an older book?
nope, they just didnt mention it again
will you make a rule review video for the new Army of Renown?
Ok yeah if that is end this was VERY anticlimatic. Plus a whole bunch of plot-threads just got left dangling (Fate of Kragnos, What's happening in Embergard, Whats up with Thorian etc etc). Also the new map already spoiled Embergard is gonna get ruined, plus the final book as said basically doesn't even cover the true end of the crusades. Honestly the 3rd edition narrative as a whole really was disjointed and lacked direction. I mean it was supposed to be the rise of Destruction but the majority of Grand Alliance Destruction did almost nothing from a narrative perspective and the Dawnbringer crusades' themselves teed off their end fighting Flesheater courts mostly. It just all seems like they just had no real direction this edition. Hears hoping 4th can fix this.
Thorian goes with Belthanos
@@jonathancampbell7798 No she kinda just dissapears and it isn't directly stated she goes with Belthanos.
My favorite model was krethusa, but I was quite disappointed in how the wrote about her. Having an opposing force to morathi is cool. But haver her randomly pop up and save the day was dumb.
Smh more darkness ascending stories from GW...I remember when AOS was different than 40k and the good guys were on the rise again....wish we could get back to that.
Moo ❤
