YOU MADE MY DAY (and maybe my WEEK)! This rendition almost never gets reacted to, it’s usually the Rio 1985 (which is FANTASTIC, they’re both just very unique.)
I’ve always been FASCINATED with the physical way Fred manifests in his singing (like standing on his tiptoes or brandishing a tight fist when holding a loud note.) So, what he does in this intro when he literally drops (to his knee) an octave, has always been so intriguing to me!😍
P.S. I haven’t seen the whole 1985 Japan concert, and it w/b COOL just for something different.
This IS the concert w my all-time FAVORITE rendition of:

(He did this in at least a couple other 1985 live shows, but this is the one w great film footage.)
P.P.S. Bob Geldof (who organized Live Aid) said that Freddie was actually an omniglot, which means speaking SEVERAL languages fluently.
(Fred had a LOT of talents we don’t generally hear about.)
I really love this song! Both concerts are great that is mentioned below. You really need to react to Teo Torriatte. I think they did it in Tokyo but not sure, I think there is a live version of this song in Tokyo but not sure of the year. It was written by Brian for their Japanese fans.

In 1986 Freddie told Brian he couldn't continue to tour, because he was not well. Freddie did manage to build 2 more albums in his lifetime.
