This is what I have and one advice to those who will do this, ask your dentist to leave a tiny space so you could floss under the tooth otherwise you will end up being afraid that something is underneath and that you’ll be like me, brushing and smelling my toothbrush and this little tiny brush I use because I want to make sure I don’t have bad breath😂
Mine was done in the Phils. by my fantastic/artist dentist.

Thanks for mentioning this! Dentists won't tell you about this because they don't make much money from this super affective procedures if done with latest technology. I have been having Maryland bridges for more than 4 years now without any trouble, I forced my dentist to do this using my own tooth that fell out from that position, working fantastic so far with no trouble at all. Could you please tell us where is your practice located, I want you to be my dentist.
Can you eat using that tooth and can you brush that tooth like normal? Can it withstand the force of normal usage?

This is a temporary job. It's a build up using flowable composite which has no strength. The Ribbond is also reinforced with flowable. One bite of a steak or hard bread and it breaks. There is another way to do this bonded bridge and much stronger. This is only temporary.
Exactly what I was thinking. There's no way it could be permanent. Probably just waiting for the partial or implant to be made. There's zero strength in that

@@judithscobee8102 Brush gently .....its only for show and not for function . The stronger more permanent bonded bridge is made of cast metal and you can eat with it. It's called a Maryland Bridge but it's more expensive and require 2 weeks for fabrication.
@@donjose6520 ok. Tq for information. For some people implant does nt work because of no proper jaw bone. Bridges damage two side teeth. For them this can be good option to smile happily with out hiding..!!

Wow Amazing 👏🏽 How much does this procedure cost? I have a missing lateral incisor on the left and it caused a gap and some space on the right side as well.. If I could just have a bridge on the left incisor I’d be happy 😩 I’ve loved my gap all my life but I always just wanted want the space where the left incisor should be fixed 😢

Incredible work without surgery. How long would it last ? Is it strong enough to chew foods ? My tooth broke off at the gump line at an angle (bit down on a small fish bone), I thought a surgery/implant is a must BUT I'm so happy to see this video. Huge weights is lifted off my shoulder. It's only suitable for people who eat soft foods. If you like eating boiled maize, steak, etc, forget it. Go for a dental bridge.

This restoration can last up to 3/4 years depend what you bite it cheaper
Another option is a denture the easiest and most cheaper with a tin metal wire in the back

Nice work... But I must point out two things could cause problems later:
1) Too firm gum contact may result with food accumulation and inflamation. Should make a form on the palatinal curvature which can be cleaned easier.
2) Should be checked with articulation paper for early contacts with lower incisor teeth, but this is a model so it's fine to skip this crucial step. 😉

Don't do it for even one tooth. It'll break easily. Composite bonding done on chipped tooth break if we bite on hard things. So its a no brainer to have this for a whole missing tooth.

I've never seen this method before. Not here in the US at least not where I worked/working at. It is considered not stable or not strong enough for biting.

the problem with that is the bite force, it would break if bitten hard, you need to be very careful.
True. Thats why i chose the more "painful" procedure: a bit filing on both right and left tooth to accomodate a real bridge (look like real teeth but hollow). Yes, i have no problem chewing hard stuffs.

Nice job! I chipped my two front teeth when I was 8yrs old, so I carried it like that for a very long time until 3 yrs ago that those front teeth were extracted and had a bridge done on them. Unfortunately the bridge broke few days ago and left a big space in my front teeth. I am considering an implant going forward, can you please advise on what I should do? I will appreciate your response.
When your bridge broke, did it also break off any part of the teeth the bridge bonded to ? How long did the bridge last ? Why did you extracted the teeth ? Can you have them added the composite resin like they did here or add the veneer for the teeth ?
