    Kudos to you, Christopher! Your videos stand out as the most comprehensive PC-building guides online. The detailed nuances you provide are invaluable for DIY enthusiasts like me. For future thermal testing of AIOs, could you consider including the CPU wattage used in your tests? It would help benchmark your results against my own. Keep up the great work!

    TYVM for this excellent video. Makes everything so clear. The "Instructions sheet" that come with this AIO are truly dire. If you are not a seasoned AIO installer, they might easily leave you weeping into a pillow with frustration. So, if buying this otherwise award-winning cooler, the included "instructions" can, and should, be used as toilet paper and for a proper guide, watch this instead.

    This AIO is definitely worth a buy. I got the performance model and my Ryzen 7 7700 stays in the mid/high 30s-high 40s C playing games. CPU is always cool. I was so worried about heat too, as I'm new to PC building. Noise is pretty quiet too from the PC. I don't have much to compare to, but I watched a lot of videos. I think most people would likely be happy with this, especially if running Lian LI fans, etc.

    If anyone is having trouble at 17:45 when lining the clips up with the bracket, you can unscrew a little to give more space for aligning the bracket, then tighten after.

    For mine, the arrows pointed down towards the CPU interface, I could look at the plug and see a small key that fit into the slot on the pump side to ensure that the it was plugged in correctly, the main thing is DON'T FORCE IT. If it doesn't go it, check the keys on the plug and the socket. Otherwise, very helpful to figure out what all the plugs are for as there wasn't really much documentation with it. Thanks.

    The performance variant is faulty as heck. A few people are already complaining about the pump making rattling noises. Mine did that as well. And the first one I received even had a dead pump. All the German online shops don't sell it anymore. Lian Li has posted no statement so far. I'm so disappointed. The cooling performance was actually super good! :(

    Great video. I usually build my own systems, but this time wanted to try out Micro Center's build service and I went with the Lancool III case and this AIO, but I'm thinking they didn't quite hook it up right since in the L Connect software, it does not see my fans (they're spinning just fine and temps are good, but says no fan products detected) and the lighting patterns (sink hole, etc.) won't change, but I can change the colors or style or lighting. The software shows the Pump's RPMs and let's me adjust that.

    Thank you for the review. It will be interesting to see how the Lian Li Galahad 2 Trinity Performance performs if the default fans are replaced with the Lian Li Infinity fans. Obviously the latter has lower airflow and static pressure, but I am curious to know how much the performance will be affected. That is, is the AIO's performance due to its rad/pump or are the default fans a significant contributor?

      Hope the reply isn't too late. I started with a push pull top exhaust set up with the GA II performance. I used infinity fans as pull, and the 'special' p28 (these come in the box with the perf aio), my cpu temps is exactly the same. So I had hoped the infinity fans would fully replace the 'p28s' but in the end I gain 3-4⁰c in r23. I now have this in the original set up as push pull was useless and p28s are much better than the infinity fans at cooling. Don't use infinity for this AIO. Performance before aesthetics. (Edited for spelling)

      Most fans will work just fine as every case is different on how it affects performance. I put the stock fans immediately in the garbage the minute I opened the package. Noctua fans or bust.

    • @chrissilver4635
      @chrissilver4635 9 месяцев назад

      The stock p28 fans on the galahad ii performance are pretty much the best fans specs-wise in the world, and you tossed them?
      Send them to me please? Haha I'll gladly pay for shipping!
      Lian Li p28, are the highest CFM for dollar value comparing all 120mm fans. The stock fans are 92cfm (lian li) vs 60 cfm (noctuas) at 33% cheaper.

I am having 1 problem though on my recent PC build that pertains to getting the Lian Li Galahad II trinity Infinity all sorted out with connecting additional infinity fans to it. The fan hubs are different that come with the AIO and 3 pack of fans. I cant seem to figure out what's necessary and what isn't, and how to get them connected with the seemingly limited ports on my Motherboard. I'd love any advice you could give me and i could provide more info if you were to take the time to help.

    • @JohnGaylerPhoto
      @JohnGaylerPhoto 10 месяцев назад

      I did this using an internal 9-pin USB splitter to let me plug both the pump 9-pin and the SL-INF controller micro USB to 9-pin into the single motherboard USB 2 header - you may not need the splitter if you have two free USB headers.. Then I connected three-direct attached SL-INF fans via the 7-pin proprietary cable to channel 1 on the SL-INF controller, I also connected another two SL-inf fans in my case to channel,3 and connected LED light strips to the 3-pin SM-type port sync connectors using channels 2 and 4. I had to upgrade the SL-INF controller firmware via the website. Then the pump, the two groups of fans, and the two lightstrips were all detected and controlled by the L-Connect 3 application software, which is simpler but much less flexible than Corsair iCUE. Unfortunately I was unable to sync the color of the pump to the CPU temperature, like on my Kraken Z73, or Corsair H150i. Maybe this will be available when the L-Connect 2.0 version works with the Galahad II Trinity, currently it does not, you have to use the prior version 1.6.xx.
      If you don't have the SL-INF controller, then you need to connect the fan to the pump controller with 4-pin PWM fan and ARGB cables from the fans. Let me know if this helps.

      You won't see the infinity mirror. I got myself reverse fans for the same reason.

    I've connected my pump & fan to a fan splitter on my AIO header on the m/b but L Connect doesn't detect the fan speed and it runs at 100%. Any tips? TIA

      Try connecting your pump to the cpu fan header instead

      Maybe try connecting the fan and the aio separately. It could be the splitter
